I have been coming here for years. I am so happy they have expanded the business to do expert mechanical repairs. They offer pick up service. It is so important to find reliable, competent and honest car mechanics. Cathy always makes me feel like a valued customer. The workers follow the example of the owner for excellence and professionalism. Will always recommend The Tire Place not just for tires but complete auto repairs and service. They were very nice and helpful. I came in expecting to have my wheels aligned and finding out that I did not need to have them aligned. They could have charged me in full for the alignment but only charged me for putting the car on the lift. I was very greatful. I would use them again without question.

I recently went to this shop for a wheel alignment, but before doing any work, Cathy took the time to ask me questions about the specific issues I was having with my car. After a brief conversation, she suggested that it might not actually be an alignment problem. To make sure, she had my truck put on the lift and checked out by one of her mechanics--free of charge! They confirmed it was actually a brake rotor issue.

It's rare to find a place that asks questions and truly tries to understand the problem before doing any work. I'm so glad I found this shop. I'll definitely be bringing my cars here for all future services. Highly recommended for their honesty and excellent customer service!

I went to Tire place to have a flat tire looked at. People were kind and professional, especially to my son who is autistic and was very interested in what was happening. 5 stars to Waddi (I hope I got his name right) who fixed the flat and was kind to my son. We need more people like this in our world.

Got both of my front TPM replaced and it was done within an hour! Whereas, I went to two different Pep Boys shops, and they just told me everything was fine. I was greeted by Cathy and she was kind and knowledgeable.

BLUF: good, straightforward service.

I needed a new set of tires. While a friend highly recommended a place in Huntington, NY, the round trip travel time was a little too long for my schedule. I used Yelp Projects instead to find a highly-rated local business, and came up The Tire Place. I asked what tires were on promotion, and they set me up with set of tires from General Tire.

The estimated total time for tire installation and an alignment was about 3 hours, due to an inventory delivery lag. My actual total visit time was about 2.5 hours.

Logistics:
Like many other auto shops, Tire Place doesn't have a holding / waiting area for vehicles. You may need to find parking nearby before walking into the office to discuss your service needs. Service seems generally provided on a first-come first-served basis.

The Tire Place has a waiting room with water, tea bags, a coffee maker, and four seats. The room smelled a bit like old cigarettes. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available; ask for the password. If you don't feel using the waiting room, Atlas Park is several short blocks to the east, while the Metropolitan Avenue commercial strip is several short blocks to the northwest.

Know your tire size before calling the shop -- if you're looking to buy new tires. Vehicle tire size and pressure information may generally be found on a plate by the driver's door. The Tire Place offers free tire rotation at every 5,000 miles for the life of the tires when a set of four is purchased.

First time going here for tire installation, inspection and oil change. Professional work environment and value for customers. Will come back when service needed and would recommend to other first timers as well.

Great service and fast exactly what a company should be they knew exactly what needed to be done and the price was very reasonable

The team at The Tire Place saved the day for me when I needed to get my NYS inspection done. Knowing next to nothing about cars, I neglected to bring my wheel lock, but the kind people at TTP waited for me to get it and they still took my car for inspection even though it was late in the day. Really professional, exceedingly kind and knowledgeable people. Will definitely be back (with my wheel lock next time)!!

What a great place. I came in last minute to fix a slow leak tire I had for weeks. I had no appointment or experience in asking what a tire replacement meant or costs, and they set me right up.

The spot is really cozy, friendly and almost seems family ran. Which says a lot about them if they're not all related.

They have a small but cozy waiting room, where you can grab coffee or some snacks from a little machine. They have tires everywhere which adds to the aesthetic and the workers are the best.

I felt like they knew me for a long time but it was just my imagination and their good service.

Definitely coming back here for anything they support my car in

I usually do not post reviews but this is a rare exception! The Tire Place was recommended by a friend and he was 100% spot on! Every single person I was in contact with there was friendly, professional, and totally trust worthy! From the very 1st moment to the last, I knew I was in great hands and well taken care of. I will refer all my family and friends w/o hesitation. In fact, I will be back there this week for a different service!
