The Tree Guys - Bay Area Tree

We had a mite problem coming from rats living in our palm tree. It was an emergency situation and they surely came to our rescue! They were fast, concise, on time, and did what we asked. We speak Spanish so it was easy to communicate with the guys. Prices are decent as well. Go with these guys! You won't be disappointed!

We recently hired The Tree Guys to prune a large, overgrown Coast Live Oak and Scarlet Oak. They did a great job at a reasonable cost.

Tree pruning always scares me because if it isn't done well it can ruin a tree forever. But I'm extremely happy with the work done by The Tree Guys. And, to be honest, I never thought these two trees could look so good!

I have used them for years to prune our 5 huge live oak trees. Quality work. On time. Good information from Luis, as an arborist.

I barely complain, but you really have to do something that makes me complain.

I've been doing some research for awhile on helping my family arrange the two cedar trees out front that needed the branches to be cut and maintained. We got an estimate from The Tree Guys to reduce and shape both trees as part of the job description. However, one of the trees looked very off balanced. We asked the workers if they can balance it out and workers initially agreed to fix halfway thru the job, but their boss came back at the end and refused to do more because we did not let him know ahead of time, and the workers weren't able to make the decisions. It is however in the job description already, didn't know "reduce and shape" does not include balancing the branches. Maybe I need to buy a new dictionary to figure out that the definition of "balance" and "shaping" means.

They weren't the cheapest estimate we found for the job, but we picked them since they seemed to be passionate when they came to do the estimate. A little disappointed how it turned out. Why would you give me a tree that's not balanced. It's like why would you buy a Christmas tree that's not balanced. I wasn't asking for a Charlie Brown Christmas tree but I'm starting to feel i paid for one.

Bay Area Tree is simply the best. I have used them in the past and needed them again for serious tree trimming and removal to clear power lines and prepare for a new fence installation. The crew as usual was prompt, skilled, professional and did a complete clean up before leaving.

The owner Louis has attitude problem very rude and no service at all! We have Monday 05/03/2021 12:00-2:00 scheduled to trim my tree but his team come very early without notice me so In that time I am not home, the guy finish job and go, when I come home I found out my tree been finish but not what I want still same as before not much change and I thought the job is incomplete my tree look still ugly, than I call his office ask him to come back my house take a look discussing how we gonna fix it to cover his team did the lousy work, after 4 day today 5/07/2021 his come my garden with his angry face and sound not happy ask me what did you want ? your are wasting my time....., hey Mr Louis I am your client I am ask you can you do anything to helping my tree look beautiful? The ending conversation we both have no common no solution, I paid $675.00 to trim only one "1" tree and no respect service. I would not not not recommend!

Highly recommend these guys. Responsive, fair price, on time, and careful trimming trees. Was a big overdue job with large California oaks, shared with neighbors. Were careful to trim the branches so that the trees still look good and can recover. They even wore masks when on the ground. Took a while to write this up, but I know they deserve my praise. Thx super the tree guys.

After researching and reading yelp reviews The Tree Guys stood out as front leaders so I called and talked to Alesia about getting a estimate.
The next day Luis came out spent about 10 -15 and advise me he would have estimate for me the next day Alesia emailed to for approval.
Date was set for 3 weeks later they showed up on time took care of everything plus clean up extra debris from my front lawn area.
