I went in to get a watch band for my Tag Hauer. The lady there fixed the broken part of my band. She said no charge but I gave her twenty dollars. She also fixed my wife's very old Omega watch at a much more reasonable price than the jewelry stores. She is a very nice person and is knowledgeable about watches. We recommend.

I have started to buy a few watches the past couple years and have a pretty decent collection. Some of my watches are upper end but the majority are middle of the road ($350-$950) price point. The past few, I have taken to The Watch Repair Guy inside of Bill's Ace Hardware in Martinez. The name is a bit of a misnomer since the watch repair "guy" is actually this super nice lady named Glenda! I guess her husband runs their other location which I believe is in another Ace maybe? Anywho, I've only had Glenda do sizing and battery changing so far but she has been great and she only charges like $10 to size your watch. I'll post an update when I need something more intense done like a repair.

She's the BEST! nice and sweet, fixed my wristband in minutes and said no charge WOW who does that these days. Jon A

I went there needing a new watch battery and watch band replacement. I found the only place I will use for watch repairs in the future , receiving excellent reasonably priced service.

Seriously, this could not have been a better experience. From the time I called to see if they could remove links in a brand new watch, drive (the 1/2 mile from the house), enter the store and pay to walk out.......15 minutes ABSOLUTE TOPS! She was awesome, friendly, efficient.....

I will be back for batteries in all my watches!

I recently moved to the area and didn't want to drive the distance to where I used to go to. Thus began my search.

After reading all the glowing Yelp and Google reviews, I'll admit that I wondered how true they could all be. But I too received 5 star service from The Watch Guy. Albeit, I was helped by a delightful woman at the counter. Extremely helpful, knowledgeable and fast.

I was even more impressed and pleased than I ever was at the place that I used to go to. Very glad that I chose here for the help I needed. I will not go anywhere else in the future, and if I move again I will happily drive the distance to return here.

Wow! Such a gem hidden inside Ace Hardware on Pacheco.Once you walk in you need to make an immediate left and her counter is near the exit!

I had 3 watches that all needed new batteries. The sweet woman working the counter offered to do them right there on the spot, but I asked her if I could just pick up the next day so that I could bring some extra links to loosen two of them.

They were ready the next day and she added links to them for FREE! She charged me around $39 for 3 battery replacements and extended 2 of them. She was so nice and professional.

They have great hours- open till 6pm during the week.

I will only trust her when it comes to caring for my watches!

Glenda is great! She is friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. She replaced my watch battery within minutes while I waited. I'm glad I called ahead this morning - the business is located within an Ace Hardware store, and they're closed for lunch between 1 - 2 pm. I'm so happy to have found a reliable place to bring my trusted timepieces at a very reasonable price.
