Sheril is an excellent massage therapist and great listener who treats exactly as requested. I typically like a firm massage in targeted areas and Sheril always provides great treatment.

Also, Sheril's created a serene and relaxing space where she works. It's a greenhouse-like structure with skylights that's in her garden.

Sheril gave me the best massage I've ever had. If you want just a relaxing massage, if you want a strong massage, even if you don't know what kind of massage you need, Sheril is your masseuse.

+Receptive - You can tell that she is not giving you a "cookie-cutter" one-size-fits-all massage. She listens to you, then listens to your body as she works it. For example, my wife and I had both very different needs and we both got very different but still amazing massages.

+Experienced - If I recall correctly, she used to do massage for the entire UVic row team, and then eventually a wrestling team. Also, as is evident from the other reviews, she provides a relaxing and therapeutic atmosphere.

+Strong - Don't be fooled with conventional sexist wisdom that only men can provide the strength needed to work you over. Sheril is armed with hands that could probably kill, but you softies out there, don't be discouraged. As she says, "I like to work just before the 'u' in 'ouch'". She can give you the strength you need (and/or want for you pain loving fanatics).

+The "je ne sais quoi", the "Undefineable" - I have noticed that lots of reviewers have commented on their experience with Sheril as magical, the best, fantastic, etc. Lots of these experiences boil down to Sheril's most valuable skill as a masseuse: she knows people and uses this knowledge to the massage completely theirs.

When I mention to people that I get massages, they usually say that they should get one too, they just haven't gotten around to it yet. Please, take care of yourself. you can find 60 minutes to make sacred. Make the 'then' part of the if-then a priority, and make it happen now. You deserve it, and your body and mind with thank you for it. And when you make the time for the 'then', make sure you go for the best, go for Sheril.

Amazing! Sheril is an amazing woman and knows exactly what she's doing. I haven't slept a full night for 5 years due to my arms falling asleep in the middle of the night as well as neck pains. I went to see her for a 90 minute massage and I slept through the whole night and woke up not feeling tired! I could've cried! She is amazing and sweet and so thorough. Her massage studio in her beautiful garden is the most relaxing place you could hope for and Sheril is so accommodating and friendly! I'm calling her up right now to book my next session!
