Q:
When is karaoke night?
A:
Aloha! Unfortunately we no longer do Karaoke night since reopening in 2021. However we do believe there are a few places that still do karaoke in Walnutcreek!
Stephanie W., Business ManagerQ:
So 2 teens can come inside sit and eat?
A:
Yes, but there might be a time restriction as in after a certain time it's 21 and over only. You could call and ask. But during normal dinner hours it's definitely OK

I don't know why I keep coming here. It's been 6 times and I love the decor, special effects and food. What I don't like is that they collect a credit card when you first sit down even when you only order food. It's so tacky and low class. Where else do they do such a thing? Also every single time when we are done eating, we can never find our server to pay the bill. It's so annoying. All 6 times I've been there we have to find someone, anyone to pay the damn bill. I think I'm finally over this place.

What a gem! We were in search of a restaurant that would give us "Trader Sam's" vibes from Disneyland and this was perfect.
The ambience and decor was on point and didn't seem overly tacky (which can sometimes be a negative of themed restaurants).
The food and drinks were some of the highlights of the evening. We had 3 different drinks, 2 alcoholic and one mocktail. The mocktail "sparkling strawberry lemonade" was delicious. My husband said both of his drinks were good as well. We started with the wings for an app which were way larger portioned than expected. Nice presentation including lighting them on fire at the table. The main courses did not disappoint either. I had the Mochiko chicken which was great. The orange teriyaki glaze was a great topping. My husband got the Smash Burger and said it was also good. We appreciated the small touches like the fries being served in a spam container. The presentation of the food made the experience even better. Finally, we ended the night with a frozen Pineapple Whip. If you love the Dole Whip in Disneyland, this is the closest you will get without stepping foot in the park.
I would highly recommend arriving early. We arrived at 5:30 and still had to wait 45 minutes for a table. Worth the wait, just be prepared! Will absolutely come back again.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jul 25, 2024
Well they've done A LOT with the layout and look of the bar since I was here last.
This used to be a "tiki" bar with some surfboards and pictures of surfers on the walls.
Now it feels like you're in a legit "tiki" bar with bamboo, masks, lava, palm trees, water and the best mixed frozen drinks.
The bar staff is quick to help, but get in early if you're in a rush - it looks like it gets packed now!
Will certainly be back.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 1 - May 26, 2024
My brothers and little sis came here for our monthly dinner together and made a reservation since it was memorial weekend and we weren't sure if it'd be busy or not.
From the moment you arrive to the door and the dry ice fountain it looked amazing! We walked in and it's definitely an experience. It was the cutest little tiki restaurant. I thought we'd step in in Hawaii.
We were seated right away. Our waitress brought us water and we order shorty after. We ordered the pagan wing's appetizer, the loco moco, Kaluhua pork plate, quesabirria tacos and a frozen pina colada.
The wings were by far all of our favorites. The presentation was beautiful and they pour fire over it. It was delicious.
The loco mocos were okay (brothers both said it could've used a lot but more flavor and sauce), the Kaluha pork plate was yummy (wish the macaroni salad was a little more creamy). On the other hand the quesa birria tacos were very stuffed and delicious!
I would suggest you try the wings and the tacos if you come here. As for the frozen pina colada I wouldn't suggest if you can't take drinks that are really strong ( my brother loves strong drinks so he took it)
Other than that I will be coming back with my husbandHelpful 0Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 1 - Jul 13, 2024
This place was so much fun! I anticipated a long wait because the restaraunt doesn't take reservations on Fridays-Sundays, but my girl friends and I came at 6:30 on a Friday and were seated right away. The atmosphere is so fun and the drinks are very strong. The loco moco was a tiny bit on the salty side for me but still good. Everything here was good, but I wish the fries were more seasoned. Lots of fun drunchy food while you drink! I absolutely loved it here, it gives the same vibe as the Tiki Room in Disneyland.

Ambiance service once we walked in, you could feel that tiki vibe. The drink menu was like 3 times more than the food menu. Food quality was good. The show was definitely good. Definitely get the crimson tides and chicken wings for a good show. We got the green curry. Asked if it's possible to add meat or chicken. Server said can only add as separate side $12. So we went without the meat. We expected the rice on the side. Nope. We had to fish out the rice. So it's like gumbo style. Other than that it was a great night.

The drinks were really good- I would recommend the "painkiller". The service was terrible, we had to order the same round of shots 4 separate times from 3 different waiters - not great and we were sitting there for a good 30-40 min waiting for our drinks. The ambiance is very dark but also a cool vibe - it reminds me of the pirates of the Caribbean ride.

Great drinks, nice staff, fun ambiance & decor.
Food portions are definitely on the smaller side -- this is by all means a bar rather than a restaurant. Drinks are also pretty $$$ and it gets super cramped really quickly.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Felicia M.Vallejo, CA2178140Jul 26, 2024
What an experience! The atmosphere was amazing! Our drinks were so good and the customer service was outstanding! My favorite bite was the coconut shrimp.
