Time to Shine Detailing

This car detailing place is fantastic! I tried Time to Shine because of all the great Yelp reviews and Xavi did not disappoint. He is incredibly accommodating and his work is impeccable. He even personally drove me home when I asked for the shuttle service and he was short-staffed. He has a lot of detailing services to choose from but I just got the premium exterior detail. My car was a dirty mess when I took it in and it came out looking like a showcar at a dealership. I was really happy with the results and I will definitely be back for his detailing services.

Contacted Xavier to do a full detail on both my cars. Both cars are daily drivers and needed a lot of work. And boy was I in for a surprise! The cars now look amazing. Just like the day I got them from the dealership. Xavier also went above and beyond by giving me a ride back home (since I live close by). And also worked late into Sunday to get both cars ready. By far the best service I have experienced. If you are looking for a great detailer, look no further. Highly recommended!

Another disappointment, another waste of time...

Set up an appointment for Monday, 9am, the week before. Communication was at first through Yelp then via text. I arranged for someone to pick me up from the service location after vehicle drop off, and for someone else to take me back to the shop when it's finished.

Well, come Monday morning I drive to the location listed here only to find out that the business hasn't been there for quite some time. Ok, no big deal, right? I immediately text and ask for the location of this business. No reply. (Updated, a reply about 30 minutes later stating his location was in a neighboring city, but I had already adjusted my schedule, heading south into San Diego)

This is not the first experience of this sort apparently. He could have sent me the updated location immediately following the appointment setting, but alas, negative.

Communication is paramount in today's business environment. Failure to do so is certainly is not a path to prosperity.

After being told that the location should be listed on Yelp Google et al, and that "pple seem not to find it," he said "we have updated Yelp and Google." Huh?
Furthermore, since I posted a Yelp review about my experience, he states "Since you didn't give us a second chance I cannot offer a mobile service at this time due to the quick Yelp review as an elite Yelper." What? So this is my fault? The customer who writes a critical review you can't make good?
Anyone with any kind of business acumen knows that rectifying a bad situation can easily offered and generally results in surprisingly good outcomes, but not this guy. Additionally, anyone that knows Yelp can witness thousands of bad reviews that have been updated with experiences towards the positive.

What a waste of time...

Xavier did an amazing job detailing our two Mazda 3's prior to selling. He was communicative, kind, and reliable. He charged a reasonable price for an exceptional service. Our cars have never looked better. Definitely recommend him for a job well done!

I hired Xavi after getting quotes to do a large amount of vehicles from him and others on Yelp. He was competitive in his pricing, comparable to a couple other quotes I received but his professionalism and communication outshined the others.

He ended up washing 14 vehicles for us in a 2 day span and did a wonderful job. I've received positive feedback from all who got to enjoy and he did my car as well which looks phenomenal.

We will be hiring him again. Thank you so much for your hard work!

Just recently rode my 2024 Yamaha R1 through the rain and it was filthy afterwards! Decided I wanted to get a full detail and called this shop. The owner was awesome, talked me through the service and made sure I understood what I was paying for and let me know about additional service. Told me I could bring my bike in the next day! Not only does it look great, I appreciate him going the extra mile and putting PPF on my tail light and paint to protect it from all the debris in the road. It also helps that he rides! he knows exactly how to clean a motorcycle.

10/10 will be bringing my back for additional services in the future

My car is 5 years old and after getting the $250 it looks just the like the day I bought it. Reliable great service at a great value, will come again!!

I did PPF and window tint here.
PPF was ok, nothing special, they could have spent more time and did it cleaner.

as for tint on 2 front passenger windows they couldn't get it right after 2 tries. (bubbles everywhere) so I gave up and went to another business. at least they gave me refund for the tint.

Xavi did an excellent job on both our new car and our 10-year old vehicle. He is very personable and knowledgeable when it comes to caring for cars.

After he was done, you could see there was a lot of attention to detail.

in addition to the work he did, he also gave us pointers for ongoing maintenance and even helped me put the cover on.

We will definitely hire him again in the future.

Setting up an appointment at his shop was fast and easy; however, when we arrived, we couldn't find it. Maybe it was a Google navigator problem, but a phone call to ask for help received no answer. We gave up and came home. Ended up going with someone else.
