Tint Tech

Ti is a one man shop and he gets the work done right and on time. He responded quickly to my message through Yelp and accommodated my request to install a combination of Carbon and Crystalline tint on our CLA 250. While I felt like I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted for the car, I still learned plenty when Ti started explaining the differences between the materials and what we would (and would not) get out of them.

I didn't even know that it was legal to tint the front door glass - Ti explained to me that, as long as the tint is 70% and above, it's legal! That was great news for us as I really wanted to get some of that crystalline tint on the front glass.

He even got us out of there about 30 minutes early. I'll definitely be back and will refer friends. Can't go wrong!

Ti knows his stuff and is really good at what he does. As far as I know, he's the only one doing it and I was very impressed with his work and efficiency. We discussed the type of tint I wanted, and gave me his honest opinion. Didn't try to upsell or push anything I didn't want on me, which I appreciated.

I opted to do 20% all around. However, i went with Crystalline for the driver and passenger side windows. And ceramic for everything else. (back passenger and driver windows, and rear window) I already had a factory tint on the back windows so adding another layer of tint made it go to 10% and that was fine with me. Took about 2 hrs and he was all done. Had a look around me his work was perfect. I did notice tiny bubbling on one mirror but he said that's normal and it will go away. (2 days later, it has gone away)

Really impressed with his work and the fact that he did it alone with the 11 mirrors this rav4 has in a short time. Ti is god!

Pricing was fair, and he did have a waiting room. All in all, Def will be coming back to finish with the front windshield and sunroof. Do yourself a favor and give this man a call. You won't be disappointed!

I was doing a bit of research of where to take my new Camry to get a good tint job. In the end, opted with Tint Tech based on the best cost, easy communication, and ease of scheduling.

Ti was responsive via text. In the beginning, I thought I wanted the legal percentage in the front (70%) and maybe 25% in the back. Ti convinced me to push it to 50% in the front, and ended up getting 15% in the back. Like my brother mentioned to me before, you don't want to regret going too light.

I got the 3M ceramic IR tint $725 for side windows, rear windows, and full front windshield. Huge plus also that he takes card. He might offer a cash discount, but I didn't ask.

I dropped the car off in the morning. He mentioned it would be done in 3 hours ish and he would shoot me a text or call. I ended up calling in to check if the car was ready, and he said it was and he got busy and forgot to call. So be sure to check in with him around the time of the quote since it could be done earlier!

It has been ~2 months now and I am very happy with the tint percentages and the work Ti did.

For reference, I don't have vision problems (no contacts/glasses). 15% in the back at night, you will likely only be able to see the car with headlights, and a faint outline out of your rear view mirror. So for folks with vision issues, I would recommend going a bit lighter if you're worried.

I recently purchased used Mazda CX-5 from Carvana and needed to remove the tint from all the windows (it was too dark, legally, for California roads). Surprisingly, Ti was available the next day in the morning.

Ti validated on-site that the window tints were pretty dark, and he found out that the windows had two layers of tint on them.

He quoted me a 40 minute job (it was done in less time), and offered to provide me the invoice and proof of payment so I could get it reimbursed by Carvana and their warranty provider SilverRock.

Finding pros that know what they are doing and will do it for a reasonable rate is so important to me (and at times, rare to find), and I was impressed with my experience. Thanks, Ti!
