Great with time and very helpful very reasonable on pricing and made sure we got to where I needed to be safely! Recommend tip towing! For any towing services !

They responded to us really quickly and got our car towed to where we needed it within the hour!

I first called AAA to try to get it towed but they shrugged their shoulders and left me on my own. Tip Towing came with the utmost professionalism and knowledge, getting my car out of an awkward position and onto his truck.

I would give 10 stars if I could! Recommend using Tip towing if you're ever stuck on the side of the road or in an tight situation.

Ridiculous wait time! I'm investing in jumper cables!

It's $150 for a tow or $120 for a jump off. I chose the jump off. It waited almost one hour for a guy in van to arrive and jump my car off. He was kind and gave advice on car maintenance. However, I was told 30 minutes, and I waited one hour.

During my wait time, the service person was responsive and professional. I'm rating two stars for the wait time. Thankfully, this incident happened during the daytime with loads of people around. I wasn't stranded.

I ran into a huge pothole on a Sunday making my vehicle completely not drivable.

I attempted to call roadside assistance through my insurance State Farm but was quoted an 2 hours before a tow truck could come pick up my vehicle.

I was recommend call to Raul with tip towing, who owns this tow company from the body shop that I went to.

Raul literally came to my rescue in less than 30 minutes I kid you not.

Definitely when you're in need of a tow Tip towing is 100%

Highly recommended. Car decided to call it quits on me New Years day, called Raul looking to get a tow. He was upfront with the total cost for the trip. Coming from San Leandro to Stockton, it was a more than fair price. Estimated a 30 min wait time and was upfront and communicated his arrival. Super helpful and made the drive to the valley enjoyable despite the terrible circumstance. On top of that he's a car guy and will take car of your car whether is a beater or a supercar.

My car was towed parking in a lot by Tip Towing.

One red flag was that unlike other towing company who does not need to break into your vehicle to tow away, Tip Towing apparently broke into the car and drove off with it and there was a lot more mileage on the vehicle when we picked up the car. However, Tip Towing owner insisted he did not drive on my car, I would give him the benefit of the doubt. When at pick up, the car wasn't even parked in a secured lot, just on the street in a residential area in Oakland, unlocked.

We paid the fees (which he insisted us paying cash, another red flag) and got the possession of the car on Feb 1, but still received a letter a few days later from a lien sale company stating that a lien will be placed on the vehicle on Feb 5 if I do not redeem the vehicle. What? I already paid and got the car. I called back to Tip Towing and the owner said he already contacted the lien sale company and it was taken care of, which I later found out he did not.

Two months after that, I received a letter from DMV saying the lien holder, Tip Towing, will sell my car, which I have the possession with, if I do not respond to the DMV. On April 22, I went to DMV and was told by the DMV staff that the lien was placed on April 5, two month after I picked up the car. After calling the ASAP Lien Sales on April 22, the office lady from ASAP Lien Sales told me Tip Towing did not call them up to cancel the lien until April 22. So what he said that as soon as I picked up the car and paid the fees, the lien is dropped is a big lie.

So he made a mistake not communicating to ASAP Lien Sales and cancel the lien from Feb 1 to April 22. Instead of admitting to his mistake and apologize, I had to keep reminding him to have it taken care of and to contact ASAP Lien Sales to cancel the lien. I wouldn't have posted this review if he did what he claimed he would do on February, and I did not have to take out my work time to go to DMV to have it taken care of myself.

I am just wondering how many times Tip Towing has done these illegal practices seeking to lien sale cars after the owners paid the dues on time. Please the authorities, look into this business and its business partner "ASAP Lien Sales" and see if any other people are the victim of their illegal actions!

Raul took great care of us. His communication skills were great he was there when promised. He rolled with the punches that came with dealing with me. He's the family tow truck now. Just call the man...you'll be glad you did.
