TLS Auto Service

Anthony is an excellent mechanic, a kind human, and is the only person I trust to keep our Highlander running. He's solved a couple major issues with the truck, and has been much more reasonable than the dealership. I recommend TLS to anyone with a car in the Toyota brand families.

I highly recommend TLS Auto Service for all your Toyota, Lexus, and Scion repair and service needs. We have been there several times with our Toyota Camry and Anthony Y., the owner, has given us excellent, professional service at a reasonable price.

I feel robbed!
Based on some of the positive reviews I read, I brought my '05 Toyota Corolla to have my A/C repaired. I told Anthony that the A/C would be cold sometimes, then go hot. Instead of doing a diagnostic visual inspection to find out the cause of the A/C not running consistently cold, he simply did a A/C recharge. Unbelievable! What a waste of my money!
I took my car the next day to another mechanic so that they could do the right thing, inspect and diagnose. Fortunately, the 2nd mechanic discovered the issue and made the necessary repairs, which was an A/C compressor replacement.
When I asked Anthony why he didn't diagnose the problem, he gaslighted me and said, "I don't work for free." I wasn't asking him to work for free. I brought my car in for an A/C issue, and he failed to approach it as an expert mechanic.
What Anthony did was a disservice.

We are long time customers of Tony. He is taking care of our RAV4 for the last 10 years. Trust is important when it comes to auto service. I trust Tony 100%. He is responsive, he is professional and his prices are very reasonable! Don't think twice

Underwhelming experience.

Pros:
o Able to get an appt that same week ( and on a Saturday ).
o Significantly lower price for regular maintenance ( $103 vs $325 estimate from Stevens Creek Toyota )

Cons:
o No waiting room.
o POOR customer service ( First, when I went to pick up my car after receiving a call that it was done, I waited ~20 mins since it is a two-man team that day ). Both Anthony and the other person saw me waiting, but continued to ignore me. Next, when asking ques about items listed in the invoice about what work was done, Anthony replies with a dry "You could read, can't you?" *****???**** Wow. Uhh, if I could understand all the terminology listed here, I would probably be doing this oil service myself. )

In any case, as I am NOT a professional ( hence the reason I take my car to get serviced ), I can't comment on the work done here. I don't think they did the tire rotation ( as should be done in the regular $5k service ), but that is just my guess.

Yelp took me here with all the great reviews, so writing this here to help others. This was my experience, and now, I'm still on the hunt for that reliable-honest-solid auto service place.

My friend recommended TLS Auto Service for my 2019 Rav4 Hybrid Limited. Anthony was top notch, didn't push for any oversells, and was extremely upfront and fair about everything.

Anthony worked at Toyota for well over a decade (per the placards on the wall). He also checked in with me a few weeks later to make sure everything was still good.

This will be my go-to spot now!

It's rare for me to find a person in cars service and sales to trust. Previous encounters have always involved being scammed or lied to...Even by prominent establishments like toyota service center of Steven's creek (they pressured me into buying a servicing package only to not honor it). Having sworn to never give Stevens creek toyota center my business again, I yelped a place to get my car maintenance. Found TLS given their high rating. Calling them was easy. They are very responsive. Made an appointment and showed up day of. They are across the street from above mentioned toyota center, actually. I met Anthony and dropped off my car. He texted me at end of day when the job was finished. Paid a fraction of the price compared to the toyota center. Was not pressured or weaseled into buying anything unnecessary. Was met with politeness and common courtesy customer service. Anthony is overall straight forward, trustworthy, and reliable. I will be returning here and recommending him.

TLS is far better than Toyota Service Center of Steven's Creek. One thousand percent.
