Very delicious! We came on a Wednesday night about 30 min before closing as we rushed to make it in time and they let us get seated. There were only about 3 or 4 parties left.
We got the unagi stone pot since it's not a very common dish and I personally love unagi. Since it was a Wednesday they also had the omurice rilakuma edition so we had to try that (also available on thurs).
Both dishes were delicious. The rice at the bottom of the stone pot was crispy and everything mixed well together. The rilakuma omurice was super cute. The sauce was great with the egg and rice.
The staff was friendly and we appreciate them seating us. Would definitely recommend!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 1 - Isabella H.WA, WA61723Jul 27, 2024
Absolutely phenomenal food !
We came to visit Vancouver for the first time for the wrexham game.
Everyone was so welcoming, the food and fish, WAS SO FRESH.
I highly recommend if you're stopping to visit in the area.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - May 6, 2024
Whenever I come to Vancouver, I crave Japanese food. This time it was a Wednesday, so I noticed the special Omurice on the menu and ordered it.
Omurice - Rilakkuma Edition ( Wednesday and Thursday Only available. )
Also I ordered snow crab leg nigiri.
Rilakkuma omurice looks like a bear wrapped in a yellow blanket. So cute!!! I think the taste is something everyone will like. Rilakkuma is delicious with inari sushi. However, some people may find it too cute to eat. I recommend this if you come on a Wednesday or Thursday. I tried the snow crab leg nigiri before eating the omurice, but I had no idea what it tasted like. It wasn't what I expected.
The store staff are all friendly and helpful. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also good. I would like to come here again.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Aug 7, 2024
What a gem Tokyo in April is! So close to Rogers/BC place and international village. They have the cutest menu items and it feels like you're in Japan inside. They were very accommodating with our large group. I would definitelu come back here again.

The sashimi and nigiri were incredible from here and affordable. Some of the freshest tuna and salmon belly I've had in awhile. The rolls were on the larger side but still decent. Service was a little slow and disoriented but overall enjoyed our dinner here while visiting Vancouver

I came here twice so far. The first time, the omurice chef was on vacation so I could not try what I went there for. However, I loved the stone rice bowl and the cutlet! They were amazing.
Second time I came back for the omurice. I did not think it was anything special. But maybe that's omurice? Not sure I would try that again. But they do a special Rilakkuma omurice on Wednesdays and Thursdays!
Lots of parking in the mall available and lots of seats. You order through the QR code online or you can ring the bell for service.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 1 - Apr 11, 2024
The food here was very enjoyable. I loved the omurice. But we also ordered an assortment of sushi and noodles which were all great. I wasn't disappointed by anything.
The service here was a little confusing, they have a barcode to add items through your browser to order but it doesn't work. They also have a call service button to get the attention of a waiter but it wasn't effective for such a small space.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Mar 2, 2024
Really glad to have found this place, spacious interior, good service, wasn't too busy.
Every single cut of fish was generous, super thick, and buttery soft. I especially enjoyed the hamachi and tuna toro.
The scallop didn't have much of a natural sweetness to it that I usually like, maybe it was too cold.
The uni was also generously portioned but had a very neutral flavor, neither briny nor sweet.
Karaage was not crispy, but was tender and straightforward.
Omurice was fun to watch them cut open in front of us. Tasted as expected, like an eggy curry fried rice.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dec 27, 2023
As close to Tokyo as I have ever been! Came here for the famous Omurice. It was phenomenal, completely exceeded the expectations. Their sushi was fresh and well made. Can't wait to come back and try more dishes. We asked for off menu seared salmon nigiri and it was delicious! This SHOULD be on their menu ;)
The crispy rice with salmon would have been 10/10 if the rice wasn't so oily. The fish was perfection. Server took our feedback to the chef but CME back and said that is how it's supposed to be. But I've had crispy rice before and it is not usually saturated like that. Overall, it was a great experience.
Can't wait to come back and try more dishes.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - eden r.New York, NY943120Aug 27, 2024
