These guys are the best. Always know what tools I am talking about. Like other people said they almost everything in stock and if they don't, they get it quick.

I have never been let done.

Let's talk about today. Called Jack at 5:30PM and he doens't have it on the truck, but says he'll call me right back. Call back at 5:45PM and found out they had it at the store. He is delivering it to me tomorrow. Special delivery for just one part. That is customer service.

Great tools available this week. Was able to get more of the very popular ECFD0102 flood lights. Sold out of these a couple of times. 5 in stock now. Also great deal on the EEJP201 jumper packs.

One only red 12 piece screwdriver set and 2 each of the red and green 12 piece mini tool sets. Mini picks mine screwdrivers and mini Torx drivers all in one package.

312CF heavy duty diagonal cutters in a rainbow of colors. And as I said buy the cutters choose a game to go with it. Life, Connect 4, and Yatzee.

Incredible selection of power tools, replacement parts, pvc, piping. Drills, electrical supplies, lightning.. you name it.

Plus it was just a lot of fun to walk around the store which is overflowing with unique items and discover tools I never knew I needed!

Help support the smaller businesses like this, so HD and Lowe's don't just dominate the world.

A friendly and knowledgeable older guy (owner) greeted me and was very helpful. Definitely a place to check out if you are in the area and in need of some specific tool (in my case it was some marine electrical wire and heat shrink).

These guys have a great selection of hard to find specialty tools, they had exactly what I needed.

I've been visiting Kathryn and her brother for over 20 years. They have always been able to provide me with basic to specialty tools almost all the time and at a competitive price!Most recent visit was for them to help me put a shop tool cart/tools together which they had ready for pick up the following day!! Highly recommend Tool Mart!!!

I needed a 1993 General Motor brass elbow fitting for the cooling system that I was unable able to get it from Autozone, Oreilly's, Napa, HomeDepot, Lowe's, Orchard's Supply and online was hard to match with so many different ones but Tool Mart had several, I bought two for both of my 1993 GM cars since there are so hard to find.

Special tools and some rare odd tools ... if your a mechanic or just looking for quality tools for your project, Tool Mart is definitely the place. This small business has been here for years and has helped many many mechanics like myself get the tools we need. The knowledgeable store owners can get mostly any hand tool you are looking for.

I called this store at exactly 3:49 ï talked with Tina about vinyl gloves. She informed me they had one size fits all nitrile gloves, count50 for 9.99. I told her ï would just order online. But online had only xl sizes. So ï walked in the pouring rain to get said gloves.
Got there about 10, 15 minutes no gloves. All XL and nothing for 9.99. I do not understand why someone would misinform you over the phone. Her co workers are worthless; all they could say was the do not know what transpired but they are not allowed to hold stuff. Its first come first serve. All the gloves there was 14.99 gloves in XL and dishwashing gloves. I guess she took them or brought them herself. I think ï will not patronize this store anymore. One minute you have something the next minute you do not, very shitty business.

My visit to O'Reilly ended up with a San Francisco native's recommendation for Tool Mart. I didn't need to look any further than Tool Mart and I'm appreciative to Mike for looping me in.

Furthermore, I really appreciated the down-to-business attitude of the employee/owner who worked there yesterday afternoon. You can tell that she was of mechanic quality because it didn't take her long to find the perfect, obscurely-sized Allen wrench socket bit I couldn't find anywhere else. Online, even. Everyone was saying how hard it was to find.

Thanks guys, keep it up. Native San Francisco stores like this should be supported in any way possible not just because of their authentic, high-quality, down-to-earth service but because this is what makes San Francisco, well, San Francisco.
