Touchless Car Wash

This is a great car wash for the price! The staff is usually friendly. They seem to care, and, most importantly, my car leaves looking good. I live in Santa Rosa and can't find a car wash close to home that I like as much as this place. Whenever I'm driving by or in Petaluma, I get my car washed here. Fast, inexpensive, no hassle.

This review is specifically for the self serve car wash bays portion. The quality of the self serve bays are horrendous. Outdated payment system, damaged knobs, water wands that are damaged, brush with dirty and clearly old bristles, and the overall presentation of the bay is old, dingy and was dirty. The value was zero as the pre soak option did not work, nor the spot free rinse. The high pressure soap option smelled like a cheap dish soap mixture, as did the wax, both of which had a green color which is a color not typically associated with soaps, but rather harsh chemicals. This was my first and will be my last time visiting this self serve wash. I do not recommend this self serve wash bay.

Went here today to do a self-service car wash. The machine said $3.75 then I swiped my card and it went up to $5.25 without asking me and the time started. After I got home I looked at my bank statement and it said $10.00. Statement was just updated to $3.75. I think they just place a temporary hold for $10.

Overall great car was for the price. Definitely will return!

Best car wash in Sonoma county. Workers work hard and pay attention to detail. They also do great on big trucks

It's cheap ($17 as of 4/6/2022) BUT as the old adage goes, you get what you pay for! For $17, I wasn't disappointed, but my car was super filthy and due to the drought, I'm not able to wash my car at home. Was the car cleaner? Yes, absolutely, but it was far from the level of detail and quality you would see with a more expensive hand wash/wax or a detailer. However, I would also expect to pay 3-4x for the former and 10-15x for the latter so if you decide to come here, just set your expectations correctly.

There were 3 things I saw that gave me pause:

(1) The microfiber wash mitts they use for the hand wash portion of the wash are filthy! That means small dirt particles, rocks, bugs, and other debris are now acting as an abrasive as they wash the exterior of your car. This probably explains some of the swirl marks that others have commented on. It might be better showing up right when they first open where presumably, they are starting with new wash mitts.

(2) The wash itself was very fast and far from comprehensive. Since you sit in your car during the entire service, you don't really get to "admire" the quality of their work until you get home. Let's just say I spent another 30 mins doing some additional drying and light detailing once I got home.

(3) The drying service are also using towels that don't look particularly dry or newly washed.

Is it worth it? I'd say if you have an older car where you're less concerned about damage to your paint and you want to get in and out quickly, it's absolutely worth it. Yes, I spent an additional 30 mins at home but it would've taken me 2 hours to wash the car properly at home. Next time I go, I'll try to go first thing in the morning to see if the wash/towel situation is better.

Too quick on the insider details and I told them I just bought a car, I said can you deep clean the interior please. I lost $50 and I'm going to another local car wash anyway

Great place to get a car wash or even wash your own car! One complaint is it's so dirty in the car wash bays where you wash your own car absolutely disgusting trash on the ground and looked like someone vomited in the lot. took my dog out of the car so that my fiancé could wash my car decided to walk away from the area and there was rusty nails on the ground, and broken pieces of cleaning product bottles. All kinds of trash....It obvious that people take advantage and dump trash where they feel after cleaning their cars. Not to mention the rusty nails that I saw could end up in your cars tire. Please be aware!!! I'm hoping that they read this so they can also be aware that they need to clean up the area where the cars pull in to get washed and where people park.

Have been coming here for several years now. Love the fact that you can get your car scrubbed prior to entering the touchless car wash. Price for the wash has increased over the years ($13 when I first started going, now [2022] $17) - but expected with all inflation going on, right?

I don't recall having any trouble with my car wash. I love the fact that they have someone drying your car after the wash.

Depending on the day or time of day, you may need to wait. The max I've waited has been about 20 minutes. Also, they do offer interior cleaning, you can request it once you pull up - one of their staff will vacuum the interior and clean - however, if staff is low, they can't always offer this.

I brought my brand new vehicle to Touchless Car Wash for a FIRST EVER car wash and they left swirl scratches all over it, including headlight lens covers. Their wash cloths are so full of grit, they even scratched up letters on my license plate. Since it had never been washed before, I know for a fact that they caused the damage. I have filed a claim with my insurance (AAA - who has their own team of lawyers) and then I will sue independently for my co-payment. I will be reaching out to others who say the same on reviews, for a possible combined/class action lawsuit. Despite their signs, they are legally responsible for damage to vehicles caused from their services. I have attached pics and will attach more later.

Usually service not so bad, i go once a week but today really pissed me off. I get there at 450 before they close and the guy who says his name is Robie gave me the hand and neck as in we are closed i said bro it's not even 5 o'clock yet even though website says 6 closing. I pull up too him and says income here every week and plus it's not even 5 yet. Told him let me get his managers name and he says it's Miguel but the way he was talking he seemed to be just throwing out names. Not satisfied with the way they did that.

Very disappointed they advertise 18.00 for service of car washing and they when I asked how much for vacuum it was 42.00
