My fiancé and I were in the market for our first house and Tracy came highly recommended from a friend of a friend. I'm very glad that we chose to work with her! She is very patient and worked with us over the course of 6 or so months. We were first time home buyers with little knowledge of how the whole process worked. She did an amazing job explaining everything to us and drove all over the Bay Area for months helping us find our home.

She never let us get discouraged, was our advocate when necessary, understood our budget and our needs/wants and worked with us to find the perfect home to raise a family in.

We worked with Tracy for the purchase of our first home and it was a fantastic experience.

Being first time home buyers, there was a lot for us to learn. Tracy patiently and thoroughly walked us through every step of the process. She answered all our questions and made sure we fully understood everything that would happen and every decision we had to make. She was extremely responsive to all our communications, far surpassing our expectations of speed and attention.

The process for us was quite fast (only about 2 months from initial call with Tracy to closing on our house) and it was so much smoother and easier than we had feared it might be. Tracy found good places for us to consider, after carefully listening to our long and detailed list of requirements and preferences. During home viewings, she was patient as we took time looking around carefully and discussing what worked for us and what didn't. We very quickly narrowed in on a place that was ideal for us. In the end, we only viewed about 4 houses, and with Tracy's expert guidance, our very first offer was accepted.

Something we really appreciated about Tracy was that her calm demeanor and tempered outlook helped us stay grounded in moments when we might otherwise have made decisions too influenced by excitement, worry, or other emotions. She was always clear about the realities and challenges of the unpredictable bay area housing market, and never responded to a situation with unjustified excitement or concern, so that we were never set up for disappointment if things didn't go the way we hoped. As it turned out, things went quite well for us, but had it been more difficult, Tracy's style was a really good emotional anchor for us.

We cannot recommend Tracy enough. It's because of her hard work, professionalism, and thoughtfulness that we now own a home more beautiful than we ever thought we would have! We would not hesitate to work with her again for future real estate needs, and offer a strong recommendation to other prospective home buyers to work with Tracy.

We are so happy we worked with Tracy to purchase our first home in Berkeley! When starting our home search, we knew right away that Tracy was a match for us - professional, courteous, attentive to our needs and situation, very responsive, excellent track record of reviews with both buyers and sellers, and an intimate knowledge of Berkeley, Oakland, and surrounding regions. She is also just a really fun person and made us feel comfortable and well-informed from the start. Tracy regularly sent us properties and information about the home buying process, spending several days with us seeing a long list of homes so that she had a really good feel for what we liked and disliked. In February 2023, I began my search for a single family home in the Bay Area. I knew it wasn't going to be easy and that I needed someone I could trust and rely on to hold my hand through the entire process. I searched for Realtors on Yelp and a bunch of names popped up. I noticed that Tracy had really good reviews so I clicked to read them. I read her bio and although this might sound silly, I was sold after reading that she had 4 dogs. I thought to myself, anyone who can juggle a fast paced career with taking care of 4 dogs must be special. And....I was right!!

When I first spoke to Tracy on the phone, I was very impressed with her knowledge of the market, and the manner in which she communicated; very professional and concise, but able to break things down so they were easily understandable. When I met her in person the first time, I felt immediately at ease and knew she was the right person to guide me through this rollercoaster of a process. We toured many homes together and her attitude was always upbeat and positive; but at the same time, she was unafraid to tell me things that I didn't always want to hear. She kept me focused and grounded through it all. One of her greatest attributes is her patience. She answered all my questions, sometimes multiple times, and explained every step very thoroughly.

We submitted 3 offers together, and the third time was a charm. I am pleased to report that I am the new owner of a single family home. And I love it to pieces! Without hesitation, I would recommend Tracy to anyone who is buying a home for the first time.

We worked with Tracy to buy our first home in Berkeley. She made the process seamless and easy. When we began our search, she asked asked thoughtful questions that helped us figure out what was important to us. Then she suggested houses that fulfilled our requirements and were within our price range. She did a great job at walking through similar homes and their sale prices with us, helping us understand the different factors that lead to final sale prices. My husband and I worked with Tracy to buy our first home last September and could not recommend her enough. We initially interviewed a few different agents (including ones referred by friends), and were most impressed with Tracy. Tracy shepherded us through an intimidating home-buying process and real estate market (we really didn't know what we were doing when we started out), and helped us find our home in Rockridge in about 2 months.

A few things to note about Tracy:
- Her responsiveness and professionalism are unparalleled. Whenever we sent Tracy an email -- day or night -- we always had a response from her within the hour. This is a refreshing contrast to some of the other agents/people we came across with along the way.

- She's super organized. We lived in SF and could only drive out to see homes once or twice a week, but Tracy always managed to schedule our viewings close together so we could knock them out in one trip. She also put together itineraries for us in advance so we knew where we were going and when. When it came time to make an offer, Tracy put together detailed comps that gave us a sense of how much comparable homes in the neighborhood had gone for.

- She's flexible and rolls with the punches. Because we didn't know what we were doing and weren't set on a specific neighborhood in beginning, Tracy was flexible about scheduling viewings in a bunch of different neighborhoods and educating us in the pro's and con's of each, and was always ready to pivot when we came up with new ideas. Over time, she learned we liked and didn't like so was able to help us filter out homes. She also works amazingly fast. Sometimes we'd see a new listing go up and Tracy would manage to set up a viewing for us either the same day or the next day -- which was especially impressive given COVID restrictions.

- She goes above and beyond. My husband and I made an offer on the first home we saw. We knew the house was special, but it was also old and needed a lot of work, and being new to the market, we had no sense of how much to offer or how involved the renovations would be. Tracy called on a contractor friend to do a walkthrough of the home with us prior to the offer date so we could understand what renovations were feasible and how much time and money we'd probably end up spending. Even though our bid was ultimately unsuccessful, it was a useful learning exercise and we were impressed that Tracy was willing to go the extra mile for us.

- She never pressured us to do anything we weren't comfortable with. Tracy often has a good sense of how much a home will go for, but she never pressured us to offer more than we were comfortable with or made us feel bad if we weren't bidding competitively, even during intense counter-offer situations. My husband and I also had very different preferences when it came to home styles and location, but she helped us find a home that ultimately struck the right balance between our divergent tastes.

- She continued to come through for us, even after closing. My husband and I were recently looking into what documentation about our new home we would need to file our taxes. When we asked Tracy, she immediately knew what documents we'd need and said she would send over copies (she keeps immaculate records of all her transactions). The fact that she remembered to follow through without us having to remind her when we aren't even her clients anymore is a testament to Tracy's reliability and professionalism.

Buying a home in the East Bay can be an intense and stressful experience, but made much easier with someone as knowledgeable and professional as Tracy. We loved working with her and would recommend her to anyone looking to move to the East Bay.
