Trail Mix RV - Premium RV Rentals

My wife and I had the most wonderful experience with Rudy and his Winnebago Revel. Although we did not need much for our 10 day trip as we are experienced campers, he includes everything a novice camper would need in addition to advice and a thorough orientation on the Campers systems and how to use them. He will even go over how to pack and what to expect. He honestly cares about the user experience. A good example of this was when we broke the Induction Range top and not only did he immediately reassure us it was an easy fix, when we returned it he we were only charged for the part as he was able to easily replace it himself.

The RV seems to be always booked however Rudy keeps it clean and in perfect condition. In addition before and during our trip he is always available and incredibly responsive. We were pleasantly surprised that everything advertised in his website was delivered.

I'd like to be clear that this review is for Rudy, the company owner, as the RV speaks for itself in the website pictures. I cannot stress enough how hands on he is in making your trip the best it can be.

We not only would recommend Trail MX, my wife and I are now planning another trip with them.

My husband and I had the most amazing week long honeymoon from SF up to Bend Oregon thanks to Rudy and our amazing Mercedes Revel camper van who we dubbed "Winnie"! It was so incredibly clean and has everything you could need. He also picks up and drops off at your house and is just the nicest person. We also used his awesome blog to plan our entire trip. The van feels brand new and has amazing bed, hot shower, kitchen etc. I can't say enough good things about our experience! We will definitely be doing this for each anniversary!

GREAT Experience!

We rented a Mecedces Airstream RV from Trail Mix company and we HAD A BLAST. Why?
Since we live in Europe and logistics were quite complicated, we were a bit hesitant on renting an RV as we've never had this type of vacation before. Rudy, from TrailMix, took the time to explain the process, different options and gave us a few tips on where to go. He was so nice, friendly and profesional, he also picked us up at our hotel & demonstrated the vehicle's features. Thanks for all that.
The RV was very clean, comfortable and came nicely equipped. Items that were supplied were of really high quality (linens, towels, soaps..), so we had everything without the clutter.
We traveled around 2000 km and stayed in National parks as well as fully eqipped campsites. We felt safe riding in the RV which came with all driving aids and the parking was surprisingly easy. We never had an issue fitting into the camping spots reserved for more compact vehicles and never felt we were compromising on comfort we love.

We recommend Trail Mix Rv to everyone that is looking for higher end RV and terrific customer support. Thanks for all details we had a memorable experiance, and Btw we will try RV-ing in Europe.

We were a bit nervous initially as we've never done an RV vacation but I'm glad we did. Our Trail Mix agent, Rudy, was very helpful and checked in with us once we were on our way. He was helpful and had great recommendations. The vehicle was a nicely outfitted Mercedes van which was a perfect size for the two of us and it's relative compact size allowed us to park in regular parking spots. We took the coastal highway to Mendocino before heading inland for Crater Lake which was absolutely breathtaking. Oregon is a gem. We will be back.

Wifey and I rented a Revel and went to Pismo Beach, camping on the beach was amazing. Vehicle was like new and Rudi great to answer all our questions & provided us with tips. Definitely will to do it again. Highly recommend.

P.S. It even came with a campsite rug and a cappuccino machine.

This is a small outfit, so you should be aware that when something goes wrong, as it did with the van we reserved many weeks ago, your entire trip might be cancelled with less than 48hrs notice--what just happened to us. While the owner was apologetic, there was no comparable replacement available or offered via a subrental, and not even so much as a discount on a future rental offered. With a little more research we found a midsize company that seems a little better organized and resourced. Something to think about before you plan a whole trip around one of these RVs.

My wife, son and I have rented a few RVs before but this time our experience was far better. Our vehicle was a brand new luxurious Airstream RV which came fully outfitted. The towels were soft, the bed linens were super comfy. The company rep took the time to explain all of the RV systems and made the check out and check in process very simple for us. I wish renting a car was this easy! We will rent from this company again.
