From start to finish, every aspect of the job was done professionally. Mike, a certified Arborist with Treemasters, reviewed our needs and spoke with our neighbor to assure them that the work we wanted to do to trim the tops of a few of their trees would neither be noticeable from their property nor do any harm. He was punctual, thorough, considerate, and provided excellent advice. His obvious expertise and communication skills made us confident in following his recommendations.

We appreciated that Treemasters recognized their work could disrupt the neighborhood, and chose to "swarm" the job to complete everything in one day. Our extensive project saw 12 skilled workers arriving on time and swiftly "cutting" through the tasks.

Sam, the supervisor, ensured that both the mandatory and aesthetic trimming was done exactly as Mike and we had planned. From removing a Bay to trimming many other trees and clearing fire hazards, the work was exceptionally well done. Cleanup was meticulous, leaving our property in pristine condition.

The result is a healthier property and a beautifully sculpted view of Hawthorne Valley and Mt. Tam. We couldn't be happier with the outcome and would highly recommend Treemasters!

Update as of 6/16/24: We had the tree assessed in 2023 and were told that it was within 2-5 years of its life expectancy for a Monterey Pine in a suburban neighborhood, so we finally decided to take it down. It was still in good health -- just 50+ years old and living wedged between concrete and tar. It had a good long run, including 14+ years after Treemasters advised that it needed to come down, and it never gave us any trouble. RIP Tree

We cannot say enough about Treemasters. We have had two tree removal projects in the last 2 years that Treemasters has completed with timeliness, quality, professionalism, and efficiency. We were contacted within a few hours of submitting a quote request online by the scheduling staff and had a visit with the arborist, William, set up within days. William was punctual, knowledgeable, thorough in evaluating what we needed and had a detailed estimate for us within a day. We were advised of an cancellation so the work on our property was scheduled just a few days after the initial site visit. The crew that completed the work today was exceptional. They arrived early, set up traffic signage, confirmed what we wanted completed, and got to work immediately. The coordination of the work was impressive, expert, and with a high regard for safety and efficiency. There are not enough superlatives for this company. We highly recommend Treemasters and would not consider any other company for any tree work needed.

Price, service, professionalism. They are the third tree service company that I have worked with and I wish I had found them before dealing with the first two. They beat on price(by a lot relative to the big name company you see everywhere) , they are very polished and professional, and they left the worksite in better shape that which they found it.

A very good job in both pruning the tree and cleaning up the debris. Arrived on time and were conscientious in all their work.

I meet with Treemasters after reading their positive reviews to have 2 Oak Trees branches cut. When I meet with them they seem to have no problem and offered to trim a Magnolia Tree too. The price of &5,600. seemed high but these trees were large. I signed their contract but did not read their terms which was cutting the two oak trees about 2-4 inches. I text and the owner responded and they came back but only cut a little bit more of one Oak and one of their tree cutters spilled some oil on a small wooden chair next to my door that was not even by the trees. so overall very disappointed .

First off, I want to say this review is not about the actual work that was done by Treemasters. The Arborist, Mike, was very knowledgeable and professional and the crew that worked on my property was top notch, except for the young kid, Will.. The main problem is with the office staff; Olivia in particular. She is beyond rude and unprofessional and made me feel like I was wasting her time when I called and had questions about what type of services they offered and if they would be able to help me. In spite of the work being good, I would definitely suggest someone else... The lack of customer service was appalling.

When you hire this company, remember that they are in bed with the Town and Cities. The owner is unethical and rude so if you are experiencing this in your interaction with this company, know that you are not alone. Totally sketchy business.

Treemasters removed two trees for us that had been flagged as fire risks.

Their bid for the work was timely and competitive . They arrived as scheduled, efficiently went about their business, and thoroughly cleaned up all of the debris.

Treemasters was completely professional throughout the entire process. We strongly recommend them.

My elderly mom needed several large trees thinned and removed from her home in Mill Valley. We received 4 estimates and the Treemasters estimate was competitive. The big differentce was that Treemasters recommended several great things to do to open up the view and make the lot appear bigger and somehow friendlier. This will help fetch a higher price when selling. Not one of the other estimators took this approach and it really paid off for us. They also took a video, walking us through the job specifics so there was no confusion when the job was finished. I would use their services again and I have referred them business.
