Trek Movers

I used Trek movers to move my 3 bedroom home from the Bay area to Nevada. The first thing that surprised me is that they didn't use any type of inventory system for the boxes. Last move I did with a different moving company, every item that went in the truck was numbered and documented so you were sure you were receiving everything on the other end. This wasn't the biggest deal, but definitely made me worry that something wouldn't arrive. When we got to our new location, the help they hired locally were not very good and needed constant guidance from myself or the one guy they sent who was in charge.
Unpacking is where I found the most issues. They packed our belongings and honestly I'm surprised most of my stuff survived. All of my glassware, including crystal glasses that were my grandmothers, were packed with a single piece of paper wrapping them. Then all of the glassware was just stacked in one box. Luckily only one glass was broken.
They also took my artwork, some cheap internet purchases, but also some more expensive nicely framed pieces and just put two pieces facing each other and wrapped them with plastic wrap. No bubble wrap or cardboard was used on any art. My last mover used both on every picture. Again, everything survived, but there were some scratches.
Overall my stuff made the trip, so it's hard to be too critical, but I personally wouldn't use them again, especially if they are packing your belongings.

When they said "no hidden agenda" believe them!! Very trustworthy people. One more big thing - THEY'RE ON TIME! Will wrap and make sure your furniture will arrive safe and in good condition. They're not just doing it for work.. or to finish the job.. theyre doing it to really help you make your nove easy! Hard to get that kind of people nowadays!

They packed well but were extremely slow, unnecessarily delayed everything. It was clear hourly rate doesn't give them incentive to work at normal pace.

Took 12 hours despite 7 members of the household helping pack. Family members packed 70% of the house. Everyone felt they were extremely slow.

Also, before the engagement they didn't say rate was for cash payment.

I want to start by saying that the actual movers (Jerry, Alex, & 1 helper) were 5 star quality. They worked so hard to get our townhome packed up. This move was a feat & they did it with smiles. I never saw them taking breaks (except lunch) & they powered through tons of stairs & heavy furniture.
My one star deduction is for whoever I spoke to to schedule our move. I had listed out all the large furniture & how many rooms we were moving & they suggested one truck & 3 movers. I wish they'd done a video visit so they would have realized we actually needed 2 trucks & more movers. Jerry & Alex +1 had to fill their truck to the brim & they couldn't fit everything. But it wasn't from lack of trying.
I'd definitely hire them again, but ask for the extra truck & movers. The pricing was great for the quality of work we got; not crazy expensive. I'd compared at least 5 other movers.

Hired these movers due to last minute needs, wish we really didn't.

3 movers for the rate of $179/hr. Most of the items were large and ready to go. This was our third time moving within the last 4 years, and we generally know how much time is allotted to finish the job. And we also normally have two movers, so thinking hiring 3 movers would make this job faster.

The job was a 3-hour minimum. We initially talked in beginning of the job, and the crew leader stated, "Yea, we'll definitely get this done in 3 hours". Definitely not.

We found them rearranging items in the truck multiple times for long periods of time(as if he was milking time.) Also, they couldn't figure out one of the bolts for the dining table, because it was slightly stripped. Well! I told them please stop, because I could tell he continued to try and we found later on that the bolts were further stripped. They also scratched my dining chair legs, for three of the chairs.

We definitely had to get the fridge out for them to speed up the process. It was all very disappointing to see them struggle and spend more time than necessary to just run the clock.

In total it took 5.3 hours for this job. The distance from both houses was less than 10 minutes. This crew was not it. And he also asked for tip, which was truly shocking.

TrekMovers made moving so easy and stress free! I wish I knew about them earlier while we were moving different places. I requested for a quote on Wednesday 06/12 and they completed the job Saturday 06/15. Jerry and his crew were a great bunch of guys. They started their job at 0900 and finished by 1200. Considering I had a decent amount of heavy items, these guys were fast, disassembled and reassembled my bed frames which were are still in excellent condition. I highly recommend their service for anyone who is in the process of moving.

They were on time, communicative, quick and efficient. I loved that their trucks were easy to identify. The two I met, Abdul and Yuri, were friendly and easygoing and didn't waste any time. They were very professional throughout the whole process and I was very pleased with the service they provided. Not much else I can say, but highly recommend them!

Hired Trek on a recommendation from a friend who has previously used them twice and love them. I hired them to move furniture from my grandma's old house in Discovery Bay to her new one in San Jose. She had way more things to be moved than what she had told me when I hired the movers. Even with the extra items, they moved everything quickly and with great care. Highly recommend Trek Movers!!! They are friendly, affordable, & get the job done right.

George, Atsa and Abe (the crew) came on time and did a great job. Super organized, polite and careful with the furniture and all other things I needed moved.
