Julian was great. Came early and cleaned and inspected fireplace and chimney in no time at all. Highly recommend!!

I booked Julian to clean and remove an old liner in my chimney. Was able to book an appointment quickly. Showed up on the appropriate day and advised me that the chimney was pretty clean but they would remove the liner. This entailed climbing 35 feet to the top of my chimney and removing a cap that the liner was attached to. They then pulled the liner down thru the fireplace. Julian informed me I should buy a Chimney pot from BC Brick in Richmond and he would install. They pulled the liner Friday and installed the Chimney pot Monday. (all prior to the recent massive rainstorms hitting BC)

Julian and his team are great. They are easy to work with and Julian leaves you with a detailed report that outlines the masonry condition of your Chimney. When we bought our first home in east Vancouver I hired Julian to scope my homes chimney. The resulting information allowed us to make a further educated decision on buying the home and the future work we would have to undertake. Roland

If you have any chimney needs, Julian is your guy. We recently had our coal burning fireplace converted into a wood burning fireplace.

He was available right away to do a first inspection, showed us what the issues were with the chimney, and quickly provided us with a detailed report of his approach for repairs. When we decided to get the modifications done, he worked with us to find a good time to complete the renovations, and did not go over his estimated time. He was at all times professional, and answered any and all of our questions patiently, so we felt very confident in the process from start to finish.

Our fireplace was completed in the later half of the spring, so due to the warm weather we did not even try it out until the fall, but when we had questions he remembered us and was happy to help.

Excellent customer service, and the price quote did not go over the actual cost. I would also add that the cost was reasonable and contributed to us choosing his company to do the work. I would not hesitate to recommend him, and we will definitely use him in the future to maintain our new working fireplace!
