Turbo Tires

I called for an appt for a tire repair, after I tried to repair the nail hole myself & failed.
"Luke" told me, they used 2 patches.
There shop is clean, Luke was very nice & I got away, w/o buying a new tire because of my mess up. Their service was fast & I probably spent less than 1 hour there. Thanks Luke!!

I called before I showed up to make sure they had my size, I got the size wrong but Nathan was great! I rolled in and 30 minutes later I had 2 new tires at a reasonable cost. Friendly and responsive, if you need tires then these are your guys.

Not exaggerating when I say this shop is the BEST all around in prices, quality, service, AND overall people. 100% my new go-to shop if another pothole mess up my day. Fast service and fair price. Definitely recommend.

Experienced a substantial gash in my tire (yay Oakland potholes) and needed a new tire.

I actually hadn't needed to get new tires yet for my current car, and I'm far from an expert, so I needed advice. Also needed same-day replacement. A mechanic acquaintance recommended I "go to International," so I Yelped for body shops in the area and found Turbo. (Bonus: the best Vietnamese food in Oakland is here, so you can treat yourself after.)

I called in at 8:00am, their listed opening hour. A man picked up. I didn't know what tire I needed, but he told me they definitely had it for my car, and a change would take a half hour or so. Great! So I left to embark on a journey at grandma speeds on my spare tire.

Nice garage, looks as if they have all their ducks in a row. The guy at the front was helpful at answering my questions, checking my tires, and offering the best recommendation for my situation - not necessarily recommending the most expensive tire. He actually recommended the cheaper tire because it would align more with my other tire's remaining lifespan.

His honest, pragmatic advice--and the fast, professional service--convinced me that this will be my go-to place for tire and car stuff going forward.

Late review, but here goes!

My left front tire went flat pretty late at night and I had to wait until the weekend was over while my spare was on to get an appointment anywhere. I called here first thing on a Monday morning and went in the same morning. I got both of my tires for about $300 or whatever the receipt says. I went ahead and replaced my right front tire as well since it was pretty bald.

I was in and out in about 15 minutes. I'd definitely come back as long as they have my size tires! :)

Went in for a tire patch after I noticed a nail in my tire. The price was on the higher end of other shops, but I went here based on the reviews. However, I didn't get the same experience as some describe. My tire was taken off for the patch, it was left over inflated and none of the other tire air pressure was checked. The shop wasn't even that busy, so not sure why they didn't do these small things like they're suppose to. Didn't notice the air pressure until I was already a few blocks away since my car takes a minute to read the tire pressure after being turned on. Now another step I have to go take care of after paying for a service. This was lazy work.

The owner Luke definitely cares about his customers. He went above and beyond to find the tire for my car. None of the shops in the area had my tires, but this shop definitely has many tires in stock especially if you need a tire ASAP.

Highly recommend this shop for anyone that need tires. 10/10 Service

I'm only giving this a 2-star rating because I appreciate the work done by the people that actually repaired my flat. I give the owner a 1-star for his trustworthiness. They they their prices displayed for flat tires at $30 and $35 for 18"+ but they charged me $50 for my 20" tires. When I asked him why was the price $50 he said that the quoted prices were only for 15/16" tires but the sign clearly says 18"+ is $35. When I stated this fact, he mumbled a few words that included "the sign is old" and then said "Mercedes"...Yes, I have a new Mercedes and I guess that's how he decides the pricing of my TIRE FIX!?!?!?

I've since called a few other local options and found $30-40 to be the going rate. I got played. Thing is I needed 4 new tires and this place lost my business by overcharging me $15 to fix a flat. Ver short sighted business owners out there.
