U-Haul Trailer Hitch Super Center of Redwood City

If I could give a zero here, I would. It is seemly impossible to get a hitch here. I ordered one on April 19, 2021, and I am STILL, as of Sept. 15, 2021, trying to get one. They've canceled my scheduled installation date three or four times over the months, and the past two times I've called, they've promised to save me the hitch on site but then never called back (as promised) with an installation time that works for the elusive technician. Five months later, I'm out $273 and still no hitch.

Stay away! The place is a nightmare! If you've reserved online to save time, forget it. The process is a joke. You need to provide an additional phone contact to verify your identity! What the heck ever happened to a simple two forms of ID? The is a palpable aura of condescension from personnel working there towards customers lacking the "requisite" identity documents. Checkout is a disjointed mess, being equally stupid as going online to reserve vehicles in advance to save time. Sheesh. "U-get-hauled" is a more appropriate name for this business, if you can call it that!
