      Very responsive to my garbage disposal repair/ replacement needs. Asked pertinent questions that expedited what level of service was required. Appointment was made for next day. They purchased the disposal and installed the new one in less than 30 minutes.

      Ben and Anton's team helped us replace the main leaking gas pipeline.

      They did the pre-estimation and gave a very good price, and we signed the contracted, they finished the job pretty quickly with quality.

      I highly recommend United service.

      PS: when the contractor was cutting the concrete to uncover the pipe, I feel it is better to have they wear some goggle for protection.

      We needed a water filter replacement and Ren came by to help us out. I explained what we needed and he made it happen for us. He did great work and was thorough, also checking our water pressure, the status of our water pipes, and the water heater.

      He was straightforward in explaining what we might or might not need and we're grateful for his support. Ren did a wonderful job and I highly recommend him for any plumbing work you have.

      We were extremely disappointed by the service we received. We have actually used United in the past and I knew it was a bad situation when I saw a repeat of our last experience. Long story short, they sent a tech to come look at our faucet which turned out that we needed a new one. There was a language barrier and that's okay, but he kind of just left saying he was going shopping and we got a call from the company saying he was going to buy a faucet for us. We said no, we wanted to purchase our own faucet and requested they put the old one back and we would schedule for the next day.

      I called that afternoon to schedule for them to come and install the new faucet and was told they would be there between 8:00-10:00, which was the only morning time we could do. I got a call back from a man about an hour later saying that the tech had a family emergency and couldn't come at this time. Typically, I'd totally understand and reschedule, but this was the same thing they told us last time. I said okay and said we would have to revisit this. 5 minutes later a woman called me to tell me that they couldn't do the morning time because the tech had a training he had to go to. Ummmm, what? The guy just called me five minutes ago saying he had a family emergency so which one is it? There was no real answer as to why I was being lied to (for the third time now). I have zero trust in this company and shame on them for using serious excuses as lies for poor scheduling.
      To be clear, the tech did what he could and none of this is his fault. This is clearly an organizational and communication issue where they think it's okay to lie to customers.

      Chose them because they were the ones that can offer the best price among the other plumbers who were charging 2-3x. Also, they were willing to negotiate down to a price that's more acceptable for our budget.

      The plumber came on time and finished his job promptly, providing a hard water test and also offered a service to install the water softener hardware, which I turned down because it wasn't in my budget.

      The installation of my garbage disposal went as planned and my old disposal was removed by them too. However, the p-trap that connects my sink to the wall needs to be replaced due to rust. They offered to replace it at $199, but I also turned it down because my landlord wasn't willing to pay for it. He said "FUCK! Do we really have to do it?" Alas, my kitchen sink is still leaking minimally and I placed a tupperware to collect that dripping water.

      The annoying thing about United HVAC service is that they will pester you to make a review about them on Yelp, texting and calling me like an ex-girlfriend. So, this is why I am writing this review right now, because if I don't, they will continue to call me.

      tl;dr: Work was completed in a timely manner. Communication could be better both with the client and internally to avoid confusion given known language barriers. Nothing out of the ordinary though the estimates were a bit high when compared to others "ballpark estimates". Would hire again when I'm in need for other plumbing related jobs.

      I wanted to upgrade a kitchen sink and facet. The sink I had was a fairly large undermount sink and I reached out to a few plumbers found on Yelp. Most gave me a ballpark estimate as a quote and told me that I would find out when the installation was completed which I'd rather just know before the job is done than after the job is done.

      United requested that their technicians visited before confirming providing any quote. On the day of arrival, the technicians did not speak English all too well and were confused. They seem to have expected to be doing the install the day of inspection. Communication could have improved internally to limit some churn and confusion due to the language barrier. Nevertheless, we managed. The 2 technicians that came by were cordial and respectful of the home. They work Shoe Socks upon entering. After perhaps 10-15 minutes of inspecting, they gave someone a call who later called me and gave me a quote. $1100 for kitchen sink and facet replacement and 1 year labor warranty. From the quotes/ballpark estimates I gathered, this was the higher end but at least it was a concrete number.

      Few other notes, I had already purchased the sink and facet myself. This $1100 quote was for the labor and any parts needed to get the installation done. The sink and facet was on route during the time of inspection hence I could not just agree to allow the installation to happen on the same day as inspection.

      I requested that an invoice of some sort is sent to me so I can review and have something on record prior to the day of the installation. I was ensured I'd get this by end of day. This did not happen and required me to give a call 2 days prior to the scheduled. This was a minor inconvenience but I planned to call to give United a heads up that the sink and facet arrived on time. To my surprise, when I called in, my name and record was remembered. Usually, for any work of this kind, I'm so use to having to provide various emails, identifiers, etc. to get the conversation going. So, a call that usually takes 30 minutes or more for me was completed in 10 minutes or less with the invoice sent shortly after and confirmation of the installation date.

      When we scheduled the installation date, I was told the technicians would arrive at 9 AM and be completed by noon. The technician (one) arrived about 1 hr and 15 minutes late. The work to complete the job took a little more than the 4 hours quoted. Overall the workmanship looked good to me. If the technician needed to step out, I was briefly informed while I was working from home.

      I contacted United HVAC Plumbing & Electric about an older Kohler toilet that was both running and intermittently wouldn't flush. They replaced the flush valve and canister gasket which immediately stopped the running, and kudos to the technician who did it.

      I discovered a bit later that the toilet still didn't always complete a full flush, sometimes taking 2-4 cycles to do it while holding the handle down the entire time, so I contacted United and provided them a video of the issue. They mentioned it would need a full toilet replacement which I wasn't surprised by.

      The same technician came out a few days later, schedule permitting, and was able to get a new toilet purchased and installed quickly after taking measurements to ensure we had a similarly sized toilet to meet our preferences. Not only did this fully solve our issue, United was kind enough to discount the cost of the first visit. We're very happy with our new and admittedly much more efficient toilet.

      I wanted to wait to see if there is any issue or following up before I write this review.

      Turned out it has been working well since.

      They have a good system to follow up and keep track of things. They sent a last to spend a long time identify the problem, isolate the issue. Calling the manufacturer. Then they have the plumber came and did the work. They did offer free inspection but ended up never did. Which is fine with me. It was late anyway.

      However, there were complications with the new unit. They couldn't get it to work and took almost a day and finally have to give up. Then an hour later, the boss, supervisor, the manager and the plumber all came at night and tried to figure it out and finally got it to work!

      I didn't have the smoothest installation but I was very impressed with the effort and the attention and like half the company came to try to resolve it was impressive.

      Price wise they aren't the cheapest but they are about middle in the range of all the bids I got. One thing is couple other very well rated company tried to sell me a few things that's not necessary.

      I am very surprised at how much care and professionalism was put into my house.

      I needed a tankless water heater to be installed and after 4 quotes, United was the most affordable and most transparent in what work was needed.

      They are extremely responsive to both phone calls and text. This is very refreshing since normally my miles have varied with different contractors and I have hired many.

      There standard of work and focus on customer service was what set them apart. Alex and his crew was awesome and on two days they worked past midnight! (After asking for permission)

      They were very transparent on what they were going to do with my project and discovered that I had a gas leak in my house pipes. (1966 house and the pipes looked old and rusty, something I confirmed from reddit that is consistent of needing repairs)

      They gave me options on a quick fix and the more involved fix even though it gave them a headache and they lost time and money trying to make sure I was taken care of. (A job that was supposed to take one day ended up taking 3 because of the gas leak)

      They are customer service focused and their work ethic is second to none (they hardly even took a break even in a heat wave!)

      I appreciate their dedication and company culture. I hope they go far and I only wish bigger companies like Tesla can be like United in customer service. 6 stars if I could.

      I read negative reviews saying the contractors didn't speak English but in my experience this does not matter. I've had contractors who spoke no English and those who were American and spoke perfect English and both have varied both ways in performance. It all boils down to how much they care and their work ethic at the end of the day. Even though the contractors didn't speak English well I enjoyed getting to know them with what English and non verbal communication we had. (I learned a lot about the countries they were from and a little bit about plumbing)

      And honestly I like to support companies that support immigrants. It's hard enough for a immigrant to find a good job in the first place and it's good to see that opportunities such from such great professional companies like this one exist.

      Would hire them again in heartbeat.
