These guys installed 2 interior doors and frames for us. We had a great experience and would highly recommend them. We've got a few more jobs coming down the pike and we will be returning customers.

We compared 10+ quotes on Yelp for interior door installations. Most handymen either don't provide the service or did not respond. Out of the ones who responded, United Handyman Services prices were very reasonable.

Communication was very smooth. Very fast response time on Yelp messaging as well as texts. Super easy to book an appointment within a short timeframe (I was able to book same week). They showed up on time for appointments.

The guys were respectful and polite, even took off their shoes indoors. Our doors were beautifully installed.

Responsiveness and reliability are the top 2 things we look for in any handymen / contractors. United Handymen Services meets all of the above and their prices were great. We're very happy with their service.

Just after my original review, I've had this team repair what turned out to be some rather extensive leaks in some large windows in my house. They also discovered dry rot and mold growth on multiple stories of my house that likely resulted from the leaks. They were able to quickly and efficiently repair the leak, open up the drywall to repair all the mold damage, and then replace the drywall and repaint/retexture the wall. Oh, they stayed on to re-deck my aged and rotting wood deck with some modern synthetic decking. Yes, quite a bit of repair work, yet all done within a couple of weeks.

Well, it's been about two years since they've done this work and I'm sitting in this season's first major rainstorm thankful that the repair work has been holding quite well. Thanks to Alex, Ilya, and their hardworking crew for the excellent repair work.

Regarding the original windows that I needed repaired, well, that turned out to be more complicated. Fortunately, Ilya and Alex were good on their commitment to complete the job until the leaking completely stopped. Yes, what a relief now that the rainy weather has picked up again this winter.

In summary, easy to work with, fast, versatile, wide range of services, committed.

We hired Alex and his crew to replace a sliding glass patio door, a closet door and a few other smaller repairs. They did a great job on all our projects. Plus Alex was incredibly helpful in helping us pick out the materials we needed and generally really good at communication. Will use them again.

I had water damage in my condo.i needed dry wall repair and floor replacement. Alex from United Pro Handyman was very responsive, polite and knowledgeable. He and his team finished the job in 2 days when other companies asked for 4 to 5 days. And the quality of the their work is great. I will definitely hire them in the future and recommend them to anyone who needs a handyman.

Great handyman! Fixed a long broken cabinet and replaced a tension rod for us. Really appreciated their responsiveness and transparency for costs. Will use them for future projects.

I had Alex, Ilya and their crew work on a bunch of projects for my new house and I've been very impressed with their work, attention to details, honesty and professionalism. We need help for some small projects. Nick (not sure if the name is spelled correctly) came on time to help. Projects include adding a dryer venting pipe in our garage, installing the double curtain rods, covering the holes on the crawl space venting windows, adding a board and rod in the closet, hanging a mirror and install a lock on the door in bathroom. All were fine greatly and very detailed. We appreciate his help. The price is also decent and lower than another handyman we requested for estimate. We will definitely ask for help again if needed. Thanks!

Good work. Questionable business practices.

Flagging a few things.

(1) There is a cash price and a check/price. You pay 10% more for credit card or check. We all know the tax implications of that.

(2) It's not always an hourly rate. The first time I used them I was very happy. It was communicated to me that this is an hourly rate business. I had a list of things I wanted help with, messaged the handyman directly, confirmed the time. I was told when he arrived that one of the main things I wanted done (hanging a swing) would not be an hourly rate but would rather be $800 because of "liability." This felt deceptive to me. I asked what else was flat rate but couldn't get a clear answer. I was told bc I didn't message my list to Yelp (but the handyman himself) they wouldn't honor the hourly quote.

Meh. I'll keep looking for business I can trust / where I won't get surprises.

I called and was able to get an appointment the next day to have our microwave installed. Andrei did a great job uninstalling the old microwave and getting the new one mounted. The new one hung slightly lower than the old one, but Andrei was able to avoid cutting the backsplash by shimming the unit. He was very communicative and provided an explanation of all the work he was doing. He did an excellent job sealing the top vent for the microwave, so there would be no excess air venting into the cupboard above. We will keep Andrei in mind for future jobs!

Alex and Ilia were very responsive in providing estimates for the installation of an attic ladder and crawl space access doors. They were able to complete the work in less than 2 days and provided options on how to configure install the doors. They were great to work with and looking forward to reaching out of them for other projects
