United Tires

Once you find a good place to take your car for service, things eventually change. I had my car serviced here successfully twice before, and I drove away a very happy customer. This most recent time, there was a bad vibe in the air as soon as I stepped through the door. The cheerful and helpful service manager had been replaced by a grumpy, disagreeable, bump-on-a-log man who showed no interest in me or my car. I repeatedly told him what my car was doing, and he negated my description every step of the way, without ever test driving my car, as if he possessed all knowledge of the automotive world. He just couldn't grasp that the ABS was malfunctioning without throwing on a check engine light. They eventually took my car in, claimed to have physically examined the hardware of my ABS system, and then announced that they don't service my type of car. I looked at the description on the service sheet, and it just said "check engine light comes on". THAT ISN'T WHAT I TOLD HIM AT ALL! That wasn't why I came into Utires! That service manager needs to be replaced.

I had what I feel is an amazing experience with the United tire. 5 start for sure. I got a $250 tire for less than 70 bucks with 10/32 treadwear. It came fast with free shipping, basically amazing.

However when I brought it to be mounted on a wheel I learned that there was a small puncture wound in the tire that they had repaired incorrectly. Because the repair was brand new, (presumably repaired in order to sell the tire), the tire place was able to undo their repair and redo it properly. The tire store made an exception for me by mounting three wheel because I'm using this as a spare and they know me. Normally, they said they couldn't mount it.

The only reason I bring four stars and not five stars is because I think they could have, instead of poorly repairing the tire, simply mentioned the need for repair, marked the issue, and saved me the trouble of redoing their repair by simply not doing it (or doing it properly).

So, so long as you are aware that there's probably a reason these tires are for sale as used, the price and the service can't be beat. From that perspective, five stars easily.

All that said, amazing tire at an amazing price with amazing service and speed of delivery.

I received the right product and had them installed shortly thereafter. Tires looked great, as promise. The problem is you only have 48 hours to report a defective tire. That is impossible because on a leaky tire it may take days to notice you have a defective tire. In fact at a rate of .5-1lb per day it may take 10 days to reflect a loss of 5 lbs. After 10 days my tire was 7lbs low.
When reporting this to United Tires they said I was outside of my 48 hours. I Explained it was impossible to notice a defect on a tire that quickly. they refuse to honor their 1 year warranty.
felt mislead and totally unhappy with my purchase. I will not recommend United Tires because the wont stand behind a defective product.

This will be an ongoing review as I walk you thru the process. Ordering a tire was a simple process, I chatted with Karolina who was very helpful and got me the exact tire I needed. She told me when the tire would ship (tomorrow, 7/8/24).

**Changed from 5 star to 4 star because tire did not ship when promised.
I was told the tire would ship on Monday 7/8 (ordered on Sunday), but it was not picked up until 7/9. There was also a shipment exception (barcode label was unreadable and has delayed delivery)

Tire arrived 1 day later than I was originally told, likely due to a combination of shipping out late and the issue with the barcode label.
We are scheduled to have the tire installed today, 7/11.

Discount tire installed the tire and it has been 3 days without any issues so far (knock on wood)

Not even 3 weeks into having the new tire on the car, we're getting a low-pressure warning on the car. I would expect the tire would have lasted longer than 2.5 weeks. I reached out to Mike (the owner) to see if he and his company would stand behind their product.

Tire continued to set off a low tire pressure. When driving, the tire is fine (the heat and rubber expansion from driving seals the small holes in the tire). We found that if the car is not driven more than 2 days - enough air leaks out to set off the TPMS. I did exchange a few emails with Mike (the owner) and he is happy to hide behind the 2 day warranty after installation - and is unwilling to do the right thing and stand behind a leaking tire. I'm fairly confident they know small leaks take more than 2 days to surface and trigger the low tire pressure and that's why they warranty their tires for only 2 days.

Beware of dealing with this company. I went into this transaction more optimistic than I should have and probably should have put more credence into the other 1 star reviews. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BUYING FROM MIKE OR THIS COMPANY.

Completely shady customer service. Purchased 2 NEW Continental tires March 4, 2024. Tire split straight down middle showing steel belt, an obvious manufacturer defect. Spoke to the owner Mike. He couldn't care less! Stated the 12 month "worry-free" "Hassle-free" warranty only applies to UNMOUNTED UNUSED tires! Mounted tires get a whole 48 hours instead of 12 months, because you know that all warranty issues occur within the first 2 days or while a tire sits unused in your garage for 12 months. I asked for help contacting the manufacturer for warranty assistance and was told by the owner it's not his problem. Shady and unprofessional with zero cares for their clients. The Better Business Bureau is now involved. Buyer beware. SHADY!

Bought two tires and never even got them on the vehicle. BOTH had multiple sidewall bubbles upon inflating. Horrible quality control. Will never use this place again.

Scam company sent tires that had no tread left. Was supposed to be 5.5 tread. Needed 5 for the lease return. Wasn't even close. When I talked to them about a refund, they wanted me to pay out-of-pocket to ship the tires back, which would've cost more than what I paid for the tires in the first place. No thanks

Been going here for years. Even when they changed locations. Quality service every time. Ask for Nate and he will always get you squared away.

They are just scammers. They sold me unsafe tires and refused to do anything about it even when provided with pictures. The price was good at $60ish for a tire supposed to be at 9/32nds. It's 7/32nds at its highest spot and lowest spots where it looks lile it was dragged are 2/32nds. Customer service was horrible. All the usual fake platitudes and insincere scripted stuff all while refusing to be helpful in any way. Lesson learned...I got scammed and now also have to pay to dispose of these tires. Freaking amazing business...

I've ordered tires from these guys specifically from this location about 3 different times in the past year and each time the tires were shipped out literally the next day and once I received them their condition was just like it stated on their website. I can honestly say I saved hundreds of dollars buying these tires since I use run flat and those especially new cost an arm and a leg.

I definitely recommend checking out their website and ordering tires from them, also the prices are very good and beat out my local tire shops!

I like people at front desk. United tires overall good company with helpful people. I recommend for everyone
