UNITS Moving & Portable Storage

Adam (their former manager) was a delight to deal with. He apparently no longer works for Units Moving & Portable Storage, which is a shame.

We have multiple storage units from this company. One which was holding personal items and several others at our business.

We recently requested to empty our home unit. They delivered it to our driveway about two weeks ago. It's been sitting in our driveway so long now that our Home Owner Association has cited us and demanded its removal.

Both my husband and I have called repeatedly to request the removal of this sizable unit. My husband has called them twice and I have called them at least five separate times----leaving detailed messages every single time.

Another satisfied customer! Local company that treats their customers with respect and honesty. We worked with Heidi on all of our transactions and our delivery/pick up professional was Rason. No concerns, easy to deal with and did I mention local :-) Very clean storage containers, no broken parts and everything operated as expected!

Absolutely will use this company again. If you like a professional customer service experience with on time delivery and dealing with a company that does exactly what they offer..... Then UNITS is for you.

I ordered two POD's from Adam @ Units. I moved into a new construction home and my move in date to the new home was pushed back two times.
One short notice, Adam was able to reschedule delivery dates to my new home. The guys who delivered the PODS were on time very polite and professional. If your looking for PODS these are your guys. The pricing was also very competitive.

PODS in Poway are the BEST! Great people and fair pricing. As a 31 year homeowner in San Diego we needed help. Mel really took care of us from prompt delivery, safe storage and really a personal touch. It felt like a friend was helping us. His staff was always updating us and very professional. Use them!

This company put a storage unit in the driveway of our neighbor. The pictures speak for them selves. I was concerned for the safety of any kids or pets who might happen to crawl under there and retrieve a ball or something. This looks highly unstable and is too high off the ground! I called Adam Martin at Units, and he told me they have never had any problems with liability and have never had an accident. All it takes is one accident and a fatality, Adam! Do we really have to wait for that before this company will come and fix this? When I first called him, his attitude was "that's how we have always done it." That was not comforting, so then my dad called him from out of town (after seeing the pictures I sent him), and the guy gave my dad the same song and dance. Then my dad mentioned Units would have a lawsuit into the millions if someone gets hurt. Adam finally agreed to send someone to fix it. We are still waiting. I also had the police call Adam as well, just to make sure this gets fixed. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY PLEASE!

Adam and the UNITS team are the best! They went above and beyond to make our move seamless and stress free. They dropped off and picked up the pod the same day and communicated with us throughout the process. We are so appreciative of their excellent customer service. Highly recommend using this company!

Great company and great communication. Adam was able to get me a unit immediately and was very flexible with the scheduling on the drop offs and pick ups. The price is in line or less expensive than the competition so don't bother wasting time looking for quotes.

Units has been super easy to work with, really friendly, professional and the people there are just great at connecting with their clientele. Grace I spoke with originally was phenomenal and more recently Adam was especially helpful in assisting me during a time that is incredibly stressful in my life and his professionalism delivered in a compassionate, yet still straight forward communicative way was really appreciate it! Great company! Love to support a family owned business whenever possible and super stoked with these guys!

We used two UNITS to store our belongings when we sold our last house and were waiting for our new home (which is new construction) to be built. The entire UNITS staff was always responsive to emails and phone calls, and our items arrived in perfect condition at the end of the three months. I found no bugs in our boxes, and everything was clean. The main driver Dee was also great with communication; he always called to let me know when the storage units would be delivered and would be picked up, and was able to get them picked up on both ends of the move earlier than was promised, which was great. I would recommend them!

For a 1st timer using a mobile storage, this was a great company and experience. Adam is quick to respond to calls and text messages with answers and solutions. The drivers were very nice and professional when the unit was picked up and delivered. The price was reasonable. I recommend this company to anyone who is looking for the service!
