Hello, this is not correct by any means as I heard the entire conversation, she explained all of the features to you, and yes she assumed you must have done some type of research since you came in, like you stated, for a specific vacuum that does absolutely NO advertising, is not a well known vacuum and can only have heard the name from online or from word of mouth, so yes you must have seen it online and looked at the product before to at least know what you were looking for. When asking about the accessories she specifically pointed them out to you on the box as to which tools it came with. And showed you on a different but similar vacuum those tools out to see what they looked like since the ones for the Sirena were in the box. You were also trying to haggle on the price and got upset when she wouldn't go any lower than the MAP pricing, which is the manufacturers set pricing that we legally can't go under.
When any vacuum is purchased from us, we go over how the entire vacuum operates.
PS: yes I did hear and see the entire conversation as we have cameras in our store.

Oct 21, 2020Previous reviewThe woman who calls herself the owner is extremely unfriendly and rude. We went to buy a certain vacuum and asked her to tell us the features. She says "you must have researched it already online, it's all the same and you must have rainbow vacuum." When asked what accessories come with it, she said "everything that comes with it". We never owned a rainbow vacuum and had never come across a salesperson who is unwilling to describe features of a product that is almost $900. Instead of taking a constructive criticism, she argued back which not only caused her to lose a customer but also shows that she is not ready to make any changes in her attitude and that the customer is wrong. Good selling strategy consists in willing to accept your deficiencies and work towards fixing it. Not this place.

I came in looking to replace my ancient upright with a nicer canister vacuum. Got excellent service from the owner, Howard. He straightforwardly explained the differences between the models (which gelled with the research I had already done) without any pushiness or pressure. He assembled the vacuum for us in store and explained its features. He even threw in a free package of filter bags with purchase. Given that they offer service in store rather than farming it out, I will probably bring my vacuum here should anything go wrong (hopefully not anytime soon).

My central vacuum had gone out right before thanksgiving..talk about a nightmare. Panicking before guest arrive I quickly found this hidden gem on Yelp and gave them a call. They sent out a technician on thanksgiving day and replaced my old central vacuum with a new one in less that 45 minutes. Highly impressed with the whole process and very thankful. Thank you again Howard!

Seniors beware! Recently a senior took a newer style Kirby vacuum to purchase a belt. It was obviously a very new machine with no apparent problems. When asked how much it would be to replace the belt (a 10 minute job) the senior was told "oh no we would also have to service your vacuum-a minimum of $100. The clerk said you probably know how to do it. If not not check out YouTube. So much for customer service for our seniors-or anyone else

So often we get customers who "just want the belt put on" when there are much deeper issues with the vacuum. We also dont just place the belt on because of that for our liability issues. We like to clean and make sure all parts are operating before we send our repairs out. Sorry, We don't do free services, senior or not. 10 min job is still a job and that's not how we operate.

Whatever happened to decent customer service? If you dare to walk into a store these days with a complaint, it seems that you are met with defensiveness, hostility, and rudeness. All it takes is a kind word that expresses concern, and the customer feels cared about. This is not difficult!
And as far as quality of products is concerned, this is yet another concern.
We purchased a SEBO vacuum from Vacuum and Sewing World, which was twice our budget, because it was touted as being the best and needing the least amount of servicing and repairs. So disappointing! Sadly, during the couple months we have owned this vacuum, it has needed more attention and more bag changing that any other vacuum we have owned for over a two-year period. Plus it puts out nasty fumes and we have to wear masks to even operate it. Having to take it apart and deal with clogs has added more anguish for someone who has bad dust allergies.
Never again! In the future we will definitely do more research and seek out respectful and polite and caring customer service and a machine that actually performs as it is professed to do.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1Business owner information

You guys Didn't change the bag on time, therefore clogged the vacuum. Thats not a vacuum error thats a USER error. We tried to help you in multiple different way, You folks were being unreasonable and came in extremely hostile wanting to return a used item saying its a lemon, when simply you just didn't use it properly. What ever happened to reasonable/understanding

I'm visiting my cousin in Sacramento and wanted to get her a vacuum cleaner as a house warming gift. I didn't have much knowledge of what to purchase and the gentleman who helped me was extremely helpful and informative. He explained to me the differences in suction level and answered all my questions thoroughly. I got a great product which I felt so proud to gift to my cousin.

Outstanding customer service! I called, told Howard what I needed and what I wanted. He checked his stock and yippie, he had the central vac available. One week later I'm a happy owner of a top of the line Riccar central vac. Howard personally came to the house and quickly replaced my ancient central vac. He even placed it in an alternate location at my request. The man knows what he's doing! He has won my business and my respect!

THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAMMERS...AVOID AT ALL COST!
Yesterday my mom and dad took their carpet cleaner to be looked at because it was no longer sucking water. The man that helped them said it would be $140 just too look at it and it's probably the motor. My parents said no thank you and that they would take the carpet cleaner to Tim their son in law to look at. The guy was very rude to my parents. Without even plugging it in he said it was the motor. How could he have possibly known it was the motor without even looking at it? He couldn't! My mom took it home and looked at it and realized there was a plastic part she forgot to put on the bottom of the cleaner. A simple fix! What a scam this place is saying it was the motor to an elderly couple just to take their money. I would avoid this place at all costs. That is not what was said to your parents because if we had stated that the motor was gone, we would not have quoted them any pricings. If a motor is gone on a shampooer or vacuum, it is not cost effective to repair. So the fact that we quoted them $140 tells me that it needed a cleaning and unclogging. That was a FREE estimate and they were not obligated to pay a thing. How that is a scam is beyond me.
And again nothing was EVER said about replacing a motor, especially at that pricing.
