Vallejo Street Apartments

I will give 5 stars mainly because of Nancy G. Nancy is definitely the best property manager I have had in San Francisco, her staff is also great and they are always willing to go the extra mile to support tenents and build a sense of community.

If I was rating this on my recent 6 months of living at 2030, I would rate it as a 5, mainly because of Nancy, the property manager. I had lived at this place for over 7 years and generally was pleased with the property, but never overwhelmingly impressed. Generally speaking, it was always clean, relatively safe and secure, kind door people and well maintained, so we never had any major complaints. That said, there were a few times where there was an issue in our apartment that went unresolved for several days or there was poor communication / expectation management related to broader building maintenance (i.e. water outages, broken elevator, etc.).

However, in the past year, things have really changed for the better. Communication is now very transparent and Management is clearly trying to improve various aspects of the building (i.e. new washing machines, improved door security, better mailroom pickup process, etc.)...and much of this is due to Nancy's role. Overall, a great place to live and seems to be getting even better.
