Great place to dump your load. On weekdays they give out sandwiches. That's really Christian and shoes they appreciate your hard work. Minimum dump fee is $75. The ladies behind the counter are professional, courteous and gorgeous!

This place makes it very easy to dump your stuff. Staff walks you through the whole process. My mom was riding with me and stayed in the truck while I pulled furniture out, and one of the employees gifted her a bottle of water. Small things like that make an impact. I totally recommend coming here. Prices won't break your wallet.

Best recycling center in San Jose, Mike Salinas is an awesome owner who takes care of his life long customers, low prices and great employees.$ 75.00 minimum dumping fee you can't beat that. Brand New facility waiting for you to get rid of that junk your wife's been telling you to get rid of for year's.

This the weirdest place to get rid of trash.
It can get confused for first timers.
Fortunately I've been there riding along with a friend.
Other than the split entrance which it's confusing
(The entrance sign it's positioned on the left side of the entrance pointing to go straight)
Because there is a middle split in the road entrance, it makes you think the entrance it's the closest to the entrance sign.
As long as you stay on the right you will fine.
Keep driving the long alley way to the stop sign and You will be driving trough the weight scale.
There is no structure or a small booth to check in.
Just drive trough.
Some times you will have to wait for instructions after they log your cargo's weight.
An attendant who might be standing there will hand you a Safety vest and a helmet.
***UPDATE*** 8/9/2021
(With the corona Epidemic they are not handing any vest or helmets, you need to wear a mask though)
After they yelled through he loud speaker
Don't try to understand what they said just go
It's hard to heard with all the noise and they don't really speak slow and clearly.
If you have watched Charlie Brown and hear the teacher speak When she said;
"bwahbwahbwahbwah bwah bwah bwah"
you will understand when you go there.
After that just look to the left there will be a large mountain of garbage.
When you are driving in usually the guy driving inside the monster tractor will signal you where to back up.
They ask you to back up some here along the Mountain and do your business.
Once you are done the same procedure
Go to the Back the way you came, onto the scale Wait And Listen for for it,
"bwahbwahbwahbwah bwah bwah bwah"
And drive straight out the scale.
Park any where on the right side along the long hallway leading out to the street.
Don't get criminal ideas to kept going on and avoid paying.
There are cameras all over
Plus your car license and face probably where recorded while on the scale.
As you walk back towards the scale just before the scale on the left hand side, there is a small trailer office.
Get in line to pay at the window.
They do take credit cards,Apple Pay, cash (I don't know about google pay)
Their credit card payment machine is a bit outdated, it will not take the titanium Apple Card.
It will just keep declining payment.
Me, I am a big baller!! so cash is my preferred method of paying.
Well, I hope my review can be of help to some of you fellow yelpers
Until next time, Wau out!!Helpful 5Thanks 1Love this 2Oh no 0 - Steven S.South San Jose, San Jose, CA02May 19, 2023
I go here all the time. It's usually pretty fast going in and out. Gets really crowded sometimes and they still keep everyone moving. Plus a discount after the tenth trip. Employees always seem friendly and helpful. Great price compared to other facilities.

Called to verify they were open. The lady on the phone picked up and answered all my questions. They charge a flat rate based on weight. Subject to change but as of today, $75 for under 1000lbs. $135 for over that. A contractor I know recommend them. You pull up, entrance is on the right side. They ask you to pull up on the scale. After weighing it you go around and dump it yourself. Once done go head back onto the scale. Afterward, just park, pay inside and you're on your way.

Been going here for 20 plus years. Best value in the county. Plus they always have a jump box if I forget to plug in my dump trailer.

Valley Services continues to offer the best prices I have found and the service level and expertise they provide is outstanding and far better then what you get from the big national service companies. Support local businesses like Valley Services they know their stuff and have come thru for me every time.

The best junk yard around- follow the other tips for the 'how to' and you should be okay. it is a bit strange to do- but so much cheaper than calling people to haul your junk for you. The price was right!
