Jose & co were fast, efficient caring and reasonably priced. We had an avocado tree in the back yard which was getting into our neighbor's roofs so they asked us to trim back the avocado. Not only did Jose come to our house to give us an inspection and estimate he actually went to our neighbor's house to check in w/them about their needs and expectations and to make sure that they would be home the next while the tree-trimming took place.
Everything went according to plan. We're pleased, the neighbors are pleased and things look pretty fantastic in our yard now. They went to the extra trouble to actually shape the tree (for it's health and for esthetic reasons).

Vega's did a great job trimming our two ~40 ft. palm trees!

They climbed _into_ the top of the tree to remove the seed branches!

They protected things (like a hose bib and plants) with plywood to protect them from damage.

They cleaned up after themselves pretty thoroughly.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING SERVICE!! I needed to get my tree cut quickly before we start work on our roof. After contacting Vega's thru Yelp, I received a response quickly and within a couple of hours Jose came to do an estimate. He also made sure to get me scheduled within 2 days in order to be done in time.

He scheduled me for 9AM Friday (Roofer starts Monday) and even tried to come a day earlier but I unfortunately missed the call. He and his crew showed up today (Friday) earlier than scheduled at closer to 8AM which was amazing! They were completely finished including clean-up in about an hour! AMAZING JOB! VERY NICE AND PROFESSIONAL. REASONABLE PRICE! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Jose and his crew did a great job at our property yesterday. We needed a large coast live oak trimmed to remove some dead branches, another tall blackwood acacia also trimmed, a large shrub removed, and several stumps ground.
Jose gave a competitive estimate and then his crew came on time to do the job.
These guys worked hard! They got here right at 8:30 and worked straight until 5, with just a short lunch break. The shrub was rooted in a large rock pile and the crew did a great job of breaking up all the roots so we could level out the land there.

The palm tree at our new home was never properly trimmed by previous owners. Jose and his team cam out and made it look like new! Communication with the Vega's team was consistent and clear and the crew working on the team worked quickly and did a great job cleaning up. Vega's is one of the great companies in the Bay Area. They have cut down a number of large trees on my property over the years and I can't say enough about how great the work is, how friendly they are, and most importantly how affordable. They have earned me as a lifetime customer.

This positive review is overdue by a few months. Back in January, I hired Jose and his team to take down several large trees and remove their stumps. They did a fantastic job!

I had 7 tall Cypress each about 50-80 feet tall along my back property line. However, they had become diseased with a canker. So were somewhat structurally weakening. Plus, worried about them maybe falling down whenever we had a heavy rain with the ground being saturated or strong winds given they were so tall.

My yard is pretty small; this is very typical in my neighborhood. So the trees were relatively close to both my house and my immediate neighbors too. If ever one of trees were ever to fall, it could easily damage our homes.

Anyway, I was so glad found Vega's! A neighbor down the block was having their tree removed and I saw the truck. So spoke with Jose. He agreed to came by my place to give me a verbal quote - no pressure. I liked him and the quote seemed fair. So booked an appt.

The day of their appt it actually rained quite a bit. But they still showed up and worked! I was really impressed with their professionalism.

The crew seemed to work really well together too. That is important with all the machinery and skill involved to take down such large trees. They were so thorough too. Not only did they remove the trees and stumps, but the crew also spent quite a bit of time cleaning up my yard - and even my immediate neighbors' yards too - afterwards.

So was thrilled with their actual work. No funny business either with them changing the quote afterwards - the final price remained consistent with the original quote. So they have good business ethics.

Now, almost 4 months after removing the trees - and all the heavy rains and winds we have had since then - I am so relieved did not have to worry about those trees anymore.

Knowledgeable, responsive, quality work, and quick! Jose came out and assessed the huge oak tree I wanted trimmed and cleaned up. I was provided a quote the next day and was able to get on the schedule 2 weeks out.

The day of the tree trimming, their team came out and did an amazing job. You would have never known they were there with how well they hauled everything out and cleaned up. No issues what so ever.

Second time I used Jose and his crew - first for tree removal, and today for overgrowth clearing. These guys are the best. They take pride in their work, and are fairly priced. 5 stars for both jobs!

They did a great job of removing a gigantic palm tree and they cleaned everything up beautifully.
