I called the Victoria T and I asked if they could fix my car I explained what was wrong and I told then not to do any work before calling me for authorization.

I dropped my car at the shop I waited for 3 days and finally after many calls the manager called me and told me that they cold not repair my car because only Mercedes can fix it. They told me that they had to open the transition to see what they could do. I had previously told them exactly what the problem was. They did not listen to me, they then said I have to pay $800.00. According to them changed the oil and some parts but they did not fix my car so after discussion I ended up paying $450.00.

After 3 months I took my car to Mercedes and they fixed my car and told me the oil in my car never was changed.

Called to get a quote, spoke with a rude and abrupt woman who stated she would maybe call us back in a couple hours. Then we received a quote for $1380 to start on a job just to open up the transmission, which the dealership quoted would be $700 to start.

I went to these people because my automatic transmission was acting up, occasionally letting the engine race instead of shifting to a higher gear. I had prepared for a transmission rebuild costing thousands of dollars and they warned me that it was a possibility. However they discovered I was low on transmission fluid due to deteriorating hoses and thought that might be the trouble. It was!
I was so impressed by their honesty and by their friendly interaction with me (and the other customers) that they are now performing all servicing for my car.

They told me one price, then added an additional $2,000 + when I went to pick it up. They did the exact same thing to a friend of mine.

Service and location is not good.

Had a appointment, and I got in a hour late. So I asked why, I was informed, they take people in on a first come first service bases. So I asked why should a customer make an appointment. He then said, did you inform us you had a appointment, yes.

Seems like total chaos to me

I highly recommend Victoria Transmission & Auto Care. I've been taking my car into their shop for the past two years or so, and each time I'm impressed by their professionalism and customer service. Their prices are fair and they are happy to explain exactly what has been done for the money in a way that is accessible for people who know very little about cars. It's an excellent locally owned business that I would encourage you to support!

Victoria Transmission & Auto Care have repaired the problems I had with my car. What is unacceptable is the prices that they charge in comparison with other local auto repair shops in the Victoria, BC area -- a price difference of $200 - $400 more. Parts costs mark ups & shop fees are considerable. I wish I had talked to friends and family members about where they take their vehicles for repair prior to paying more than a thousand dollars for brakes replacement.

I thoroughly do not recommend this shop.

They have ripped me off on one occasion and were not able to figure out what was wrong with my car on another. However, if they had listened to me at the beginning when I as trying to explain what was going on with my car, they probably would have been able to identify the easy fix. These guys are not the honest, "female-friendly" shop they seem to be.

I dropped my car off for a simple oil change in the morning and around 4 pm that day a manager called me back, saying that the threads on the oil pan came out when they removed the bolt to change the oil. He went on the explain how it was not possible to use a replacement bolt that would create new threads and that it also was not possible to blame this problem on his technician. He was sure that the threads were broken when I brought it in and so they had to replace the oil pan. Well, it was 4pm and they couldn't order an oil pan that day so my car had to stay over night, and when I went in the next day to pick it up, I asked to see the oil pan. It looked like it was in fine condition to me, and that the technician tightened when he should have loosened and stripped the threads. I asked many questions about the oil pan and whether this was the shop's fault but in the end they would not let me get out of paying for the oil pan. So, a simple oil change turned out to be $350 and my car had to stay over night. I am never taking my car there again, and I would highly discourage you from taking yours there too.
