I've been going to Vizavoo for 3 years now (since having moved to the neighborhood). I love all the stylists I have worked with. The atmosphere is personable and hair cuts/ color/ blow dry are all great!

On a whim, I walked in for a haircut. After seeing all the stellar reviews for Hudy... I was in luck.

Hudy's hands are truly magic. After a magnificent shampoo, massage, and condition, she dried and wrapped my hair in a towel and whisking me away to her chair.

Her skilled hands gave me the most magnificent cut. I was so relaxed I think I dozed off a bit in her chair. I felt so pampered as she followed with one of the best blowouts of my life.

This is a LONG overdue review for Hudy Taha at Vizavoo Salon. Let me just start off by saying I almost never write reviews because they take time, and I'm a very busy woman, but I created a Yelp account today just so I could give this woman the credit and praise she deserves.

Wow, where do I begin? Hudy makes GLOW UPs come true. She may not know it, but I have sat in her chair during the highest of highs and lowest of lows, and I always walk away feeling like a million bucks. Her blowouts have not only turned heads and earned me countless compliments, but they have also given me the confidence to slay hot dates, boosted my self-esteem on days I needed extra TLC, and are sometimes the only reason why I can look in the mirror and love the girl staring back.

Hudy is not just talented, but she is incredibly hard working. During a keratin treatment which took 2 hours, she never once stopped paying meticulous attention to detail. I walked away with hair like liquid silk that cascaded down my shoulders and glistened in the sunlight. What she didn't know is that her hard work during those two hours launched me into my revenge glowup era and gave a girl the confidence and courage to hold her head high for months. This service is the type that you cannot put a price on. She is doing the Lord's work by the amount of thoughtfulness and love she pours into her handiwork each time and her willingness to always go above and beyond no matter how exhausted she is.

Hudy listens to what you want and then delivers beyond your wildest dreams. Her customer service is top notch - she never fails to ask if you are comfortable and if you want any coffee/tea/water to drink while she does you hair. The whole salon is clean and the vibes are on point. If I had all the money in the world, I would hire Hudy as my daily personal hair stylist without missing a beat.

The man I just spoke to on the phone was extremely rude. He said "I'll just note on your file that you don't show up to appointments" & I said, I've actually been calling & have left a voicemail earlier expressing that I had an emergency & I am having to take a flight. I would've been happy to pay a cancellation fee, but I booked this appointment yesterday before close & this was not disclosed to me. I even told the woman who booked me that if something comes up, I will notify her which I had been trying to do all morning.

Customer service is great! Frida is my hairdresser and she is awesome and very professional! the place is super clean and gives a good vibe

I've had the privilege of being a loyal customer of Frieda for nearly a decade, following her journey from one salon to another. Let me tell you, Frieda is an absolute treasure. She's not just a hairstylist, but an artist who intuitively understands your needs. Her recommendations are spot-on, and she brings them to life with exceptional skill. Over the years, I've experienced her mastery through Brazilian blowouts, hair coloring, and haircuts, and I'm always thrilled with the results.

Frieda truly stands out as the ultimate choice for both curly and straight hair in the region. And speaking of her new salon, it's a blend of chic and stylish. From the moment you step through the grand entrance, you're warmly welcomed, offered tea or coffee, and escorted to your comfortable seat. If you're looking for a recommendation, I can't stress enough how much I endorse Frieda and Salon Vizavo. It's an experience that goes above and beyond.

I never leave bad reviews but my experience here was truly awful, and if I dont vent about it I'll explode.
I asked for bleach and tone all over, dark hair to blonde, showed a bunch of pictures including old pictures of myself with my desired hair. I didn't expect it to be perfect and would've been fine if parts of my hair looked a little brassy, since I'd previously dyed it--which I communicated both in my appointment request and in person to Dolores.
Dolores said she would do lowlights after I told her what I wanted and showed pictures. I looked up lowlights on Google and gave her my okay as in the results, it looked like regular blonde with darker blonde pieces throughout.
I don't know if there was a miscommunication but my stylist, Dolores, did a strange technique that I didn't question in the moment because I trusted her expertise. My hair ended up with a bunch of black strands remaining all over, and not in a cool, purposeful way, which wouldn't have been what I asked for but I still would've been okay with. Instead, with all the lighter pieces, it looked like I was prematurely greying at 23. It was so ugly and I knew even the hairstylists could tell, because they kept fussing around and lowkey arguing about what to do to fix it.
I didn't have high expectations but this has ruined my confidence for the next few months. I'm tempted to shave my head because every time I catch a glimpse of my hair in the mirror, I want to cry; it's so damaged and the color, after they tried to fix it with toning, is like a mix between puke and tar. The owner offered a free touch up in 5 months after my hair has healed but I don't think I'm coming back here. Also, both the owner and stylist kept trying to convince me the hair looked fine but either they were fooling themselves to save their egos or they have terrible taste, in which case they shouldn't be in this industry. I was literally crying in the store and they were yelling at me that my expectations were too high, even though I wasnt rude or the slightest bit accusatory--I simply couldn't control my tears at how ugly I felt.
I've never felt such a blow to my confidence after being excited to change up my appearance. I just don't understand why she employed such a strange method after seeing all the pictures and listening to my request. It would've been easier to just bleach like normal instead of picking out a million tiny strands.

I recently had the pleasure of getting my hair styled by Loiy Alomari at Vizavoo Salon, and I must say, he is absolutely amazing. From the outset, Loiy demonstrated an exceptional ability to be customer-friendly. He took great care in understanding exactly what I wanted, addressing any concerns, and actively seeking feedback. Throughout the haircut, he checked in with me, discussing each detail to make sure the outcome was not just meeting but exceeding my expectations.

What really impressed me was his ability to read my body language, picking up on subtle cues about my preferences. His attention to detail is remarkable, ensuring that every aspect of the haircut was perfect. After washing, he dedicated ample time to styling my hair, not stopping until he saw a smile on my face.

His skill and dedication have won me over completely. I have switched to Loiy after trying out six other more expensive stylists and have found that he far surpasses the standard. From now on, I'm his permanent customer. Loiy is truly a keeper!
