Like many others who have spent time at Volvo Cars San Francisco, I had the pleasure of working with Patrick Lindsley. He is an outstanding individual who will guide you through the process with kindness, patience and honesty. What I loved about working with Patrick is that he is truly on your side as a buyer, whether you end up buying a Volvo or another vehicle, he wants what is best for his clients.

You cannot go wrong workin with Patrick or the entire team at Volvo SF. Honestly, I hesitated writing this review because I want these cars to remain a secret - the XC40. They will soon replace Tesla as the most seen cars on the roads of SF given they are a far superior vehicle!

Great buying experience. Jacob was informative and easy to work with. He provided us with a thorough overview and comparison of options for our Volvo. This drives so much smoother than my BMW.

Hard to part with my exhausted Volvo S80, but Jacob jneid made it an easy process. After many years of solid service thanks to Jim Yared, it was time to upgrade. Jacob put me in a beautiful XC-40 and helped me transition from old school to fantastic features. I look forward to many more years with the Royal Motors Sales and Service team!

I recently leased a 2024 Volvo XC40 Recharge and couldn't be happier. When I called Volvo SF to inquire about the inventory, I received exceptional service from Patrick who helped track down a XC40 with the exact specs I was looking for and even trekked all the way down to Monterey to pick it up. On the day of purchase, he went above and beyond and helped me find a same-day insurance carrier, ensured my wife and I felt welcomed during our dealership visit, and showed us every feature in the vehicle before we left the lot - he was extremely knowledgable and was a fantastic Volvo ambassador. I also want to mention the great service we had from Ardavan and Yukov, who made sure the terms of the lease were clear and transparent. I highly recommend Volvo SF for anyone looking to lease or buy a new Volvo!

After shopping around at multiple dealerships and not having the best experience I ended up purchasing a Volvo XC60 at Volvo San Francisco. I was assisted by Patrick Lindsley who was very friendly and made the process easy. This was my first car purchase and I didn't know what to expect but he was patient and took the time to make sure all my questions were answered and that I left happy.

Dmitri and Jakob were great to work with.

It was easy to set up a test drive.

Jakob wasn't pushy at all when he talked us through the car buying process.

Dmitri really worked with us for an acceptable price.

I would definitely come back to purchase a Volvo.

Overall, a 5 star experience.

Patrick was very helpful and informative. We got the car we wanted and there was no stress.

I thought long and hard before writing this review. Initially I contacted them to purchase a CPO xc40 recharge with less than 4k miles on it. I also wanted to trade in my PHEV xc90. I called and the phone calls went great with Jacob. He's attentive, honest, genuine, not pushy. He doesn't have that salesman douchebag vibe. He communicated with me via text all day bc I was at work. He even stayed late so that I could drive up from San Jose. I even wrote a 5 star review on Google as well for him. He earned that 1000%.

The horrible part is the back end operations. I sold them my more expensive car, used some of that money toward the xc40. I was supposed to get roughly $19,000 back. I've sold multiple cars to other dealership as well as CarMax and Vroom. I didn't know that they weren't going to cut me a check for the balance owed to me. Ok, sure...every company have different operations policies. I get that. So I was patient. I traded the car in 2/13 or 2/14. On 2/22 I logged into my Volvo acct and saw that I still needed to make a payment for the XC90. I thought it was odd, so I sent an email letting them know that a payment has not been made yet. My payment is supposed to be be 2/28. That's 2 weeks from the time I traded in the car.

On 3/6, I got an email from Volvo telling me I missed a payment for the XC90. At this point, I'm really concerned bc now they're fucking with my credit. I sent the email to them asking yet again when they are going to make the payment. In the response from Lida Aramyan in the thread says that they got a payoff amount that was good through 2/23, BUT THEY'RE SENDING A CHECK ON 3/6. THREE WHOLE FUCKING WEEKS AFTER I TRADED IN THE CARS. NOT ONLY THAT, SHE EVEN STATED THAT SHE HAD TO ADD ADDITIONAL FUNDS probably bc she knew that the payment was late. There was also a response to Lida asking why it's taking so long? You had ONE job to do, Lida. Meanwhile, they're holding my $19000 hostage until they get the title from Volvo Financial.

The irony is that they CPO inspected my old XC90 and listed for sale on the website, yet they don't actually own the car yet bc they don't have the damn title.

Learn from my mistake DO NOT SELL YOUR CAR TO THEM. GO TO CARMAX, VROOM, SHIFT, DRIVEWAY INSTEAD. Had I known, I would've not sold them my car. I would've just paid the down payment for the xc40 and sold my xc90 to someone else. TO BE CLEAR, THOSE COMPANIES I JUST MENTIONED WILL GIVE YOU YOUR CHECK AS SOON AS YOU SIGN YOUR DOCUMENTS STATING THAT YOU AGREE TO SELL THEM YOUR CAR.

I had the best experience at Volvo San Francisco. I don't think I've ever experienced a faster purchase at any other dealership, with test driving included, I wasn't there for more than 3 hours at most.

During my visit I worked with the sales manager, Jacob. He was professional, personable and knowledgeable. After purchasing the vehicle, he described all the features throughly. I would highly recommend visiting Royal Motors Volvo San Francisco when searching for your next vehicle.
