Our favorites: Chicken tacos, shrimp tacos and shrimp sopes, taco salad, the low cal basic salad, all the tortas, molé enchiladas, either cheese or chicken, and taco combos. Rice, beans, chips and salsa always wonderful. Chicken tacos light but filling. Extra shout out for the shrimp dishes - delicious and generous portions. Tres leches cake is shareable and tasty.

The staff are helpful and friendly. It's a clean family establishment. Outdoor seating is a little oasis, just lovely. Or take your food to go and sit outside at the baylands.

I've been a teacher in EPA for 11 years and 10 of those years were spent as neighbors to La Cazuela, our reliable caterer, the place my students, contentious though their opinions can be on things especially related to their home cuisine, all generally agree is pretty fire. I don't think my opinion matters as much as theirs and while yes, OBVIOUSLY, I can't compare this to their mom's cooking at home and while yes, obviously the bar for Mexican food is high on this side of the contiguous 48 states, I can easily say, ten toes down, that La Cazuela is my *favorite* Mexican joint in the Bay Area.

Does that mean anything? Probably not. There are a lot of Mexican places. There are a lot of *good* Mexican places. I've been to some of them, I haven't been to a lot of them, but one that I will always come back to is La Cazuela.

Their chips? Crack. They are so deliciously savory and rich that I usually find myself eating them without the salsa, which is also incredible and unique, by the way. I'm just saying, if I run out or if they forget to pack one, which has never happened , I'd be just as happy eating those chips plain. AND they're free. I promise their price isn't the additional seasoning to them. They're SO good.

La Cazuela probably has my favorite carnitas of anywhere in the bay. The seasoning is consistent, rich, and savory. Sometimes on their tacos they're especially juicy because of the inclusion of some of the fat or collagen. The Carne Asada is similar- just really well seasoned, well cooked meat that's not too dry, not overseasoned, not pretentious. I find myself coming back to the basics more often than anything, but everything from their Chile Rellenos to their Shrimp Tacos are JUST right.

Sitting in their outdoor area on a nice day is absolute peak. The area is situated and organized so it's usually shaded by the surrounding trees. The garden is really cute and it really feels like such a cozy, intimate little oasis despite being on an intersection.

The people are just the nicest- I usually get take out from them and at this point, especially with how often I've been going as of late, they've usually got part of my order ready to go and they do not judge me for getting the large agua frescas- I mean, they're delicious and really nothing beats them on a hot day, which we've been having a lot of recently as of this review.

They've been such a reliable establishment to me for going on a decade now. I appreciate all the meals they've catered for our school and for being my personal lifeline on those especially hard days with their perfect combination of flavor, hospitality, and reliability. La Cazuela is home.

Great friendly service and excellent asada tacos. What would have made it 5 star for me is if the tortillas were handmade there. The other meals ordered at the table also looked great

My last time here. My co-worker talked me into going back because I said I wasn't going back before and he has always had positive tasty reviews about this place until today. Today he gave it a barely a 2 star and he went on a regular basis and said it's his last time. Here is a picture of a so called quesadilla with hardly any meat and the cheese was like rubber. The lady at the the register was really nice but the food sucks!! The outdoor area is nice to sick down and kinda like a beautiful little park but the parking sucks..

Great cheap Mexican food with beautiful plants around the seating. Got a breakfast burrito and it was very good.

Spent $25 dollars on the Carne Asada Plate.

Honestly pretty easy to eat, very tasty but maybe not worth the price. There are other decent Mexican restaurants that I'd go to if I wanted better value or tastier food but this was tasty in a pinch.

Ordered DoorDash and the nachos were phenomenal even after sitting for a bit! 10/10 recommend the carne asada for the nachos. Also ordered some tacos and they were okay but not amazing. Maybe would've been better if I had them right away. DoorDash was quite fast as well!

An absolute must try if you're in the area! Such friendly customer service and I must say, THE BEST burrito I have had in a very long time. It's hard for me to find delicious wet burritos in Daly City area, so when I discovered this place, I had to try! It's a bit far from home, but I will definitely come by whenever I'm headed to the South Bay. Beware, the red sauce is SPICY! I think I'll have to go with the green sauce next time.

LOVE the fresh chips and salsa and the asada tacos, yummm! And make sure to get the agua fresca - the staff was so kind to let me try all three flavors ( jamaica, horchata, and pineapple) and recommended I should mix the jamaica + pineapple! So good!!!

Small place in EPA. Folks are super nice here, and the food is delicious!

You order first at the counter, seat yourself, and the food gets served to you. Water is self-service. Chips and salsa are complimentary. The salsa is unique and fire! I wish I could buy a jar to take home. The wet burrito was really good too. I got it with chicken, and it came with rice, beans, cheese, and salsa topped with green sauce and melted cheese. I could've used more cheese on top. It's a pretty big burrito. I only ate half and had the other half for breakfast the next day.

      Definitely worth a try!
