Wallys Towing

I had car trouble on the freeway and my friend recommended Wally's Towing. No regrets! Wally came pretty swiftly and was very courteous. I expressed how important my car was to me as I inherited it from my Dad. Wally definitely showed it some TLC, which I appreciated a great deal. He recommended an auto shop (Cheers Auto Repair, San Bruno), who took care of the car issue in no time. I'm extremely happy with Wally's Towing's services and I highly recommend them for all your roadside assistance needs! Need I say more?

Not sure how long they have been in business, but I encountered 2 unprofessional situations with them.

(1) I'm pretty sure they make up the price they want for the tow, instead of charging by the mile. I had someone helping me call different towing companies and asking for a quote, and Wally quoted her $275. I call within the same hour and get quoted $300 for the exact same car and mileage. I didn't call him out on it and just accepted it. But he completely made up a price on the spot, so be aware.

(2) They are not reliable. I set up a scheduled tow with them 5 days in advance, due to a work conflict. The night before the scheduled tow, they cancel on me. This was VERY unprofessional, because I had to scramble to find a last minute tow while at my place of work. He was a nice guy on the phone, but it felt like a personal decision on their end, and I will not be using their tow service in the future, and I hope you think twice before you use them as well.

Wally was very punctual and helpful with my car situation...he towed the car perfectly to my mechanic...I would highly recommend him for any towing needs
