Wanna Cab

Nice experience and the cab was extremely clean and Balwinder was nice and drove me safely to my destination. My husband had concerns about me using Uber so I decided to go old school and take a cab, a really good experience. If you are older and not a Uber person I would recommend wanna cab.

Balvinder is AWESOME! He is now my only cab guy. Always friendly, professional and on time. My car is in the shop so it's great to have options. I like supporting local, kind small businesses. Give him a try...you will enjoy your ride with a smile on your face. :)

Needed to arrange a 6 am cab ride from Alameda to Oakland at the last minute -- don't ask. Called at 10:30 pm the night before, and even though I didn't leave a message, Balvinder called me back and arranged the ride.

He showed up a few minutes early, drove safely, was friendly but didn't fill every minute with chatter, and I'll definitely call him the next time I need a ride.

Nice company and driver.. he was willing to drive a homeless man to the Alameda Hospital even though it was a small fare and the passenger was very unkept.. I called the cab for the passenger.. thank you Wanna Cab!!! Please support this small company :)

Balvinder saved my trip. Was being stranded by Lyft and their terrible customer service. Luckily called Wanna Cab and he was reliable and friendly and I used his cab for the rest of my visit. He is great!

I have been living in alameda for a solid 3 years, and up until a year ago I've dreaded the taxi services. Cabs in Alameda are typically one (or more) of the following:

- consistently late
- never arrive
- act as if you're burdening them
- do not take card

About a year ago, I was leaving a bar on park street when I hailed a WannaCab. They drive clean White Priuses, with a bright orange logo. I hopped in and immediately asked the dreaded question, "do you take card?" the cabby joyfully responded with a "definitely", and I knew we were golden from there.

The cabby made pleasant conversation for our short trip, and when we arrived, he graciously sent me on his way with his card. I knew I would call again.

Three weeks later, I called the same cabby. If at all possible, the experience was even more enjoyable. He picked me up within five minutes of my call, and joyfully dropped me off with more than s reasonable fare. I told him from this point further, he will be my only alameda Cab.

I travel from Portland to Alameda very often for work. Every time I need a cab I call Balvinder with Wanna Cab. He is always on time, very friendly, and most importantly a very safe reliable driver. His car is kept up and nice and clean. If you need a ride - call Wanna Cab. You won't regret it!

I had foot surgery at the Oakland Kaiser hospital on the day before Thanksgiving. I had to be there at 6:45 a.m., so I decided to take a cab. After looking at the reviews, I called Wanna Cab a few days ahead of time, and Balvinder agreed to pick me up that morning. He asked me to text him my information, which I did. He arrived a little early and got me there in plenty of time; he even offered to pick me up afterwards, but Kaiser's rules require you to have someone you know pick you up after surgery. But I'll definitely call Balvinder again for my appointments.
