Water Emporium

This was my first time coming here a few days ago. I usually go to the one in Newark because it has great water and good deals. I decided to come here today because it is closer to home. I believe they are changing ownership and or management and I met James he was really nice and welcoming , has great customer service and gave me the information I needed. I will definitely come back because of his great energy and the prices. They also have alkaline water which is a plus. I will do another review because I haven't had the water yet. I will say it was warm when I filled up but it has been hot out.

This place has great tasting water but there has been two separate instances where I over paid. The machine outside took my money and didn't give me my change...and another time the cashier was charging me $4.50 for a 5 gallon refill...not cool.

I was also a Milpitas customer first and was glad to have found this place in Fremont. Thank you for being there for me and my family.

Proud customer for decades....

My house came with Reverse Osmosis System and we used to get serviced by Water Emporium in Milpitas.
Since they have closed, I reached out to Water Emporium in Fremont. Apparently, owner Jack bought this store about 10 years ago, so he is independent from the Milpitas store.
He sold me the pre and post filters at discount, $60 each, and instructed me how to replace them. He also offered to re-pressurize the holding tank for $30 if necessary. (but I would have to bring it in)

5 gallon water is $3 each so I don't know why people would come here instead of getting their water at the machines at safeway and foodmaxx. I personally can't tell the difference in the taste of the water between the two. I can definitely tell the difference between tap water and these two though. So please tell me if there's an added benefit to this water where it justifies paying +2x what I usually get it for.

This families customer service is SOLELY why I will keep returning. Every time I come in ANY questions I have, (even if I ave asked 50x and they explained 50) they are more than willing to explain and chat.
They are big on being transparent and minimal waste when it comes to water which I love. The sweetest young lady and her husband!

A little more background. The original owner of this store and the now defunct, Milpitas store was employed by the Alameda County Water District. He designed and built, what I believe to be the areas most superior water purification system. I spoke to him when he still ran the Milpitas store. I am happy I took the time to listen and learn the story. I see now that Monsieur P. has performed TDS testing and the Water Emporium Fremont system came in at an astoundingly low TDS #3!
I could taste it's pure, clean freshness but I didn't realize it was that clean. I am truly amazed. In comparison the tester states city tap water tested at 330. Safeway tested at 47. Kirkland Costco was 24. Water Emporium Is a clear ; ) winner.

Fantastic place to fill up your water bottles!! Fresh, clean, healthy water. The store room, also, has lots of fresh air and is very clean. A fantastic local business. I will be back again real soon.

Best water around, well worth the price for great tasting filtered water. This is also a great family-owned business. And I've been a patron for 8+ years!!!
