Love this place! Prices are great for what you get. I come here quite often and tend to purchase a package when I do. Helps to save a little money with the frequent visits my wife and I make.

Emily at the front desk is the best. Always so happy to see us and welcome us. She never lets me make the mistake of paying too much for services by sowing me their price options that cover what I'm looking for.

The salt sauna is great. And I can't name all the great masseuses here because I've had so many different ones since I started coming back in 2022.

Whether I'm coming in for the 1 hour foot massage, or a 90 minute full body deep tissue massage, I always leave feeling rejuvenated. So blessed to have this place right here in my town.

Having enjoyed my time at their San Mateo location, I thought I would have the same experience at the Millbrae location. I did not.
      1. I saw two ladies simply rinse their hands in the restroom. No soap was involved, and they literally just turned the water on and ran them under it for a second.
      2. My masseuse did only half my body scrub. He didn't scrub the front of my body.
      3. This same masseuse only massaged the back half of my body and the front of my arms. He didn't touch my legs.
      4. The esthetician left the room at least 7 times (no lie), was talking through my facial to the esthetician next to her that was doing my friend, and some guy kept coming to talk to her.

Nothing about this experience was relaxing. It left me less relaxed than I was when I got there. Super disappointed. I told the front desk, and their solution was to offer me a free 30 minute sauna. No, thanks!

After having been to this location quite a few times and reading many of the Yelp reviews I felt it was time to address the main issue I have with this place, which is the Asian woman who runs the front desk.

Unfortunately, she sees it fit to be her place to chastise customers who have Groupon passes. Every time I come in with them she always says I could have got the same price from me directly. She puts on this big frown and makes a fuss over it repeatedly. The last time I was in I said it's not up to me to come in and negotiate anything with her on the side and then she backed off. It's always like a garage sale deal with her when it comes to trying to push the soak salt options for $10 extra. A couple of days ago when I came in, she asked me If I would like a regular massage or deep tissue massage.
After I opted for the deep tissue massage without even asking she tacked on another 10 bucks. Once again, I had to talk money with her and call her out and then she reversed the $10 charge. I see from other reviews here she's all over people for not tipping enough as well. I always tip 30 bucks for 90 minutes because with the exception of the masuers milking the clock for 10-15 minutes with an unnecessary amount of time to soak my feet they do pretty good work here.

Lastly, there was a conversation I had with her this last Easter Sunday that I feel needs to be
addressed by her supervisor as it still bothers me.

We were making small talk about the holiday and out of the blue she indicated Biden was choosing that day as a LBTGQ recognition day with a very condescending tone and disgust on her face. It bothered me at the moment and all I could say is that here in the Bay Area people are able to let their freaky flags fly and I could tell she took unbridge with it.

Such an ignorant take on a reoccurring date that just happened to have fell on Easter Sunday, but why try to explain the obvious to someone so dumb that talks to a stranger with a loaded topic. The other issue is that you can often hear her from the the massage rooms as she is either upset with other staff or customers for their groupons or tipping practices as you can hear her critical tone whether it be in Mandarin or English.

At the end of the day, this lady needs to fade into the background, take appointments and the rest but stay away from constant attempts at trying to bleed the customers for more of their money.

Who needs to go into their massage feeling like they just got through haggling at a flea market? Not me.

      2 check-ins

Used to come here for massages long time ago and stopped visiting for a while. I had a Thai massage yesterday morning but still have stiffness in my upper back and neck. I felt that I need some extra boost. Did some digging and realized that this place also offered sauna and French/korean scrub treatment. So I wanted to give it a shot.

Originally, we agree to have the scrub first then sauna. When I arrived, was told the scrub would have to wait after sauna (my guess is that they booked the therapist to another appointment). That is okay but I want to rinse first.

The front desk got a lady to take me between rooms. The set up here is very awkward. The shower room is also the scrub treatment room and it is far from the sauna room. I was taken there with a box of a robe and towel. Okay... I started to rinse.. once I was done, I couldn't find the lady who took me here and I didn't know where to go. Flagged someone down and they were able to find the lady who took me to the sauna room. I originally booked for 30 min but the temp was comfortable so I asked to increase to an hour and was able to get it.

The sauna room has heated salt bricks around the wall, bench and the floor. Towels and pillows were there and a jug of water was provided. My sweat started to show around 30 min mark.

I wish they had a cold plunge nearby but i appreciated the privacy for the private sauna room. Could definitely do hot yoga here.

When I was done, once again, couldn't find the girl. I walked up to front desk and ran into the girl. She didn't remember that I had a scrub session after and she went to check with the front desk. I went back to sauna and continued to wait. She came back after and took me back to the scrub room. I took a cold shower and waited for my scrub therapist. I didn't have any instructions on what to do next..

Someone showed up after. She was surprised that I still had my robe on. I told her I didn't know what to do next ( there were two tables in the room). She settled me into one of the tables and started the session. It was a French salt scrub session not a Korean scrub. I am okay with it. She was very thorough and I had probably one of the most thorough scrub ever ( I have been doing scrub sessions regularly at many places with different styles). After the session, I needed a rinse. The hot water did take a while to come out and the therapist here don't start the shower for you. The complimentary shampoo/conditioner and body wash were available but they are drug store products. I took another shower at home after.

When I checked out and doing the tips, I was told that she was really just helping out and I was lucky. The pricing here is incredibly reasonable.

Overall, the value here is pretty high. But you do want to adjust your expectations. Setup is a bit odd. Slightly cold in the shower room. Service could be better (no easy way to find people and lack of instructions between services). But value is good. I enjoyed my time here overall and people were friendly.

Good - spacious and accommodating. Today , what was told on the focus area to give more time on massage was attended.

The receptionist was nice, but need to work on not asking directly for tips like mandatory. It is more generously given than pre-empting it and aggressively asked of it.

I love this place! I try to take everyone here, my Mom, friends, everyone! There is so much space so it's a great venue for a large group for spa days. There's a large communal area for quick body and foot massages. The seats are very comfortable and the room is spacious. They have private treatment rooms of course for longer treatments or couples sessions. My favorite amenity is their Himalayan salt stone sauna treatment! It gets to a lovely hot temperature perfect to get a nice detox in your sinuses, lungs, skin and body. It does get very hot so bring extra water or an extra towel because the seat and floor can heat up very quickly! Emily is one of my favorite people there. She will usually be answering the phones as you book your appointment. She always remembers to bring in a tray of pitcher of water and sometimes crackers as you enjoy your sauna session. I only want to come in when she's there because I know she will always make sure we have an amazing experience.

My very first time to try the head and hair treatment here. Without any experience or expectation, I took out my jacket and put on their clean and cozy robe . Rolled into white clean and warm comforter, it is really comfortable setup.

The treatment including the following Four steps: One: scalp health condition check (optional, up to you) with warm eye mask on ; Two: clean hair and head massage; Three: hair nourishment -- steaming and neck and hand massage and Four hair blow drying. ( for review purpose, I requested them to take pictures, and they are nicely accepted. Pictures worth thousands of words here).

Some highlights on the four steps, the massage strength and point pressing was great, which helped me with my headache quite a lot. Meanwhile, the hair care products they use are really professional "Redken", after the treatment my hair look much nicer , also silky when I touched it. Highly recommended the beautiful professional head treatment lady - Franca.

In one hour I collected both health and beauty benefits, definitely I would like to come back for it. Hope someday they can open a store in South Bay .

I made a reservation two days ago for 10am ( right when they open). I confirm this appointment for a massage and salt sauna ( yes, the same groupon everyone seems to be purchasing). I get a call a day before my appointment asking if I can change my appointment time because the sauna won't be hot enough. I already have plans after my massage so I couldn't change it. I confirm my appointment for 10 am a third time.

I show up at 10am for my appointment the next day. I have three masseuses staring at me having no idea that I have an appointment at 10am. I ask them where their manager is and who did I speak to to make the appointment. The manager walks in 10 minutes later unbothered by the fact that she is late and that the masseuses had no clue that I had an appointment. I provide her with my Groupon and get the same conversation 'why did you get the Groupon, you can pay the same price here'. After this they rush me into a room. I wasn't asked if I had any focus areas or any areas to avoid. Asked to just take off my clothes and get under the blanket.

The masseuses asked for my pressure preference and that was the only good thing that happened from my massage. I felt like my masseus was inexperienced. I felt exposed for a good chunk of my massage ( like the sheet placement while I was on my stomach was a little questionable). Outside of feeling incredibly exposed, She had good pressure, but was sometimes massaging bone.

I was provided a robe after my massage to go to the sauna. It was plenty warm and the only thing I enjoyed in the whole experience. Once my 30 minutes were up, I thought I would be taken to a restroom or massage room to change back into my clothes, but was told I could change in the sauna ( nothing wrong with this I guess, but just strange).

After all of this, I was asked if I wanted to tip. Unfortunately, I am one of those individuals that can be guilt tripped into tipping when I shouldn't.

      Hope all this info helps.

Typically do to a different massage place but wanted to try this out since it's right next to the gym. I decided to get the Swedish massage and my bf got the foot massage both for 60 min. I was led to a private room and told the massage lady that I wanted more focus on my neck and lower back. She would knead me constantly with her knuckles and since she was bony it wasn't comfortable. The pounding on the back and head massage was extremely uncomfortable. Never had someone pull on my head and limbs in that kind of way. Like I was a rag doll and then suddenly left to flop down. I also insisted I didn't want my lower body done but she kept insisting and had me remove my pants which I didn't feel comfortable doing but because of the language barrier, i just agreed. I came out of this in more pain than when I walked in. My bf said the first 10-15 min of his 60 min foot massage was just soaking his foot and when he told the guy to put more pressure he said it was still weak like being tickled. When I got home and took a shower I noticed soreness in all parts of my body and my bf noticed a bruise on my neck!!! I've gotten massages and never walked out with a bruise. Will never come back

We went to claim our Groupon for 60mins foot spa, didn't claim the 30mins hot sauna anymore since I came from yoga and just wanna have a relaxation.
But they soak our feet for 30mins and massage our foot for 15-mins then did our shoulder for 2mins and that's it, our 60 mins foot spa massage was done‍soo disappointed with this place, your money is not worth it.
      Just go somewhere else,
And this 2 man massage us saying that they're stronger coz they're men, but they're so lousy, despite of telling them that I like a little stronger but still presses like a so hollow, omg! I just wasted my time, and money with this place, the whole experience was a huge waste of my time.
NEVER AGAIN COMING BACK TO THIS PLACE
THIS PLACE IS A HUGE MISTAKE!!!
Don't waste your money in here.
