    • Q:

      Our bathing suits optional?

      A:

Yes. Per Watercourse Way's FAQ swimsuits are not required in the private hot tub rooms. They advise some swimsuits color react poorly to the chlorine and they aren't responsible if your swimsuit becomes discolored from the chlorine.

Do you have a SPA day where people can use other amenities aside from buying a massage?

      A:

Yes, our private hot tub rooms can be booked separately. Also facials, wraps and scrubs.

I've been coming here for a while and must say that Watercourse Way is top notch. Their staff are always friendly on the phone and in person, the facilities are always clean, and the massage therapists (and I have had quite a few) are all very competent and know what they're doing. I think it's a great deal as well. $108 for a one hour tub AND one hour massage! Simply amazing.

      Things I like:
      - Rooms 1, 8, and 9. Those are the only (?) rooms with a tub, sauna/steam room, and cold plunge. The other rooms are smaller and don't make me feel like I've stepped into another world. Room 1 and 8 have a sauna, which I prefer over the steam room in 9. Steam makes it hard to breathe, so if you do go in, wet a small towel with cold water so you can put it over your nose to breathe.

      - Massage rooms upstairs are more spacious and better decorated than the ones on the ground floor.

      - The showers downstairs are AMAZING! Nice dark furnishing, high ceiling, with a HUGE rain shower. The only thing you need to remember is to check whether the shampoo/conditioner/bath gels are filled. It's a pain when you're already wet and shampooed, only to realize they are out of body wash.

      - Customer service: I did have one massage that disappointed me, but that was very professionally addressed by Sheilla, who credited my account with $50 for a future massage. She did miss our first scheduled call, but I get it, people get busy.

      Things I don't like:
      - All massage therapists here have their own technique, but are all good in their own right. The one I had just last weekend with Shala was the only disappointing one though. When I pay for a 1 hour massage, I expect to get a 1 hour massage, so I'm very aware of any stalls that appear to take away from my hour. After the initial meet & greet, inquiry about problem areas, and instructions on how to get under the sheets, she stood there in the room a little longer than necessary. I was tempted to ask "okay, can I get in now (so please exit the room)?" but her lingering made me feel like I was supposed to disrobe in front of her. Anyway, she left the room, so I got under the sheets. My previous massage therapists come in very quickly. A few times I was caught snapping pictures of the room! But Shala seemed to linger outside. Maybe her client's usually take longer? The massage starts and usually what happens after a few compression presses on the back, is the therapists put oil on their hands, and then spread the oil on my back before digging in with their elbows (I always request deep tissue). Shala compressed my back, my arms, my thighs, my calfs, everywhere. Compressions don't do a thing for me, so I felt that was a little long. Then she removes the sheet and tells me "the massage oil is a little warm," but I've never had an issue with that, until I feel her squirting the oil directly on my back from the bottle!! I felt like I was a turkey being prepared for the oven. Shala squirt a lot on my back, and then started spreading it all over my back, shoulders, and arms. Again, it seemed like a stall tactic when by now any other massage therapist would be half way done with one side of my back. The massage begins, and things seem to finally get better. Shala asks how the pressure is, and it was actually very firm and good. But from that point things started going south again. After finishing my right side, she then walks to my left, but not before blowing her nose. She sounded congested before, and I understand because I was just getting over a cold, but blowing your nose while giving a massage is a big no no. I would have just plugged my nose with a tissue and waited until my client left before blowing my nose, because it just isn't sanitary. If signs in restaurants say the staff have to wash their hands with soap after they sneeze/cough into them, isn't blowing a bunch of mucous from your nose into a literally paper thin tissue much worse? The massage continued, and it felt like I was just getting an oil rub, which I absolutely hate. Why pay to get rubbed down with oil by a trained massage therapist, when I can get that at home for free?! Shala went through the usual motions of going over the arms and legs, flipping me over and covering my hands and feet with warm towels, massaging my shoulders, etc. but half way through I was already debating whether I should ask her to stop so I could leave. I was that unhappy. When we were done and I looked at the clock, I realized that I had not only gotten an unsatisfactory massage, but was shorted 5 minutes. I'm sure Shala gives a great light Swedish massage, but definitely not deep tissue.

      - Twice now the ladies booking my appointment tell me they're going to give me a male massage therapist (I don't have a preference either way) who is supposedly great, but when I come in they always turn out to be female! What's going on? And twice in a row?! This better not happen when people request a specific therapist, because that would really annoy me!

My first time here last Sunday, 18Aug2024. I was greeted by Shawn from the front desk. He is nice, and offered me several types of organic tea to choose from. He is super accomodating and very personable person. I like his customer service style.

I reserved the Hot Jacuzzi for one hour then one hour Swedish massage with Ying! I love it! I love the place! I will come back for sure. I will try the steam room next time then massage with Ying again.

Absolutely loved our experience tonight. An hour was the perfect amount of time for our private room. We began in the hot tub, each did a three-minute cold plunge, hit the sauna for 6-8 minutes and repeated for the hour (making sure we each got three, three-minute cold plunge experiences). I feel amazing!

Gift shop is also lovely with lots of great products.

Started my morning at Watercourse way and let me tell you ... I wish I could start my day at watercourse way everyday!

I had the opportunity to see Grazyna for a Collagen facial this morning and I cannot wait to be back. Grazyna was excellent - SO knowledgeable, walked me through the entire facial and also gave me the option to choose what facial I wanted to do after she took a look at my skin! I look forward to booking another visit with her soon!!

If you're in the area- a visit to watercourse way is a must!!

My partner booked a spa day for us which included an hour in the spa and then a massage. It's on a quaint corner and the storefront is peaceful.

We arrived 20 min late but they still let us in. The staff was friendly.

The session began with a soak in one of the private spa rooms. The jets felt uneven in our room with one side noticably stronger than the other. We still had a nice time in there though. There's a shower and soap for you to rinse off as well. The robes felt thick and there was ample space to leave our stuff.

We went into different rooms for the massage. I was brought into a room with two massage beds though so I'm not sure if you have to pay extra to be with your partner during the massage? That would've been nice.

The room was spacious and calming with warm lighting. I got myself ready and when I found the bed too hot, my masseuse turned off the heating function so I could be comfortable.

Since I was alone, I spoke a lot with my masseuse. She shared her philosophy of taking care of your body. It was really nice to learn from her and get her perspective! Time didn't go by fast; it felt like just the right amount of time. I left feeling rejuvinated. My partner said he felt asleep, which his masseuse said was a nice compliment.

You have to option to shower afterwards or clean up with a hot towel. I chose the towel. I found out my partner wanted to shower, and I wish we were able to talk to each other before figuring out what to do.

Overall though, this was a great first spa and massage experience!

I guess I'll leave my third review of this place after being a loyal customer of 5 years. This is the best spa in the area.

Service is great. The little store they have at the front is great. I'm in awe of how amazing I feel after. It's my go to zen place. I will always be coming back for the care, quality of service, and atmosphere!

      Absolutely amazing!

Reserved Nine Bat room and massage. Both were amazing.

So the check in was a breeze. Arrived at mid afternoon when it wasn't busy. The room had a hot tub, sauna and cold plunge. The hot tub was a perfect warm temperature and was easy to get into the water. Room was so relaxing.

Warm robe was given to wear to next appt. Got sent to a waiting room that offered hot tea. My massage felt so good.

I will be returning and probably become a regular.

Pro tip: Go to Costco and purchase spafinder gift cards ($80 for $100), and then come here and redeem them! You won't be able to tip using them, but you'll be able to save a pretty penny (that typically goes toward tipping).

I came with my friend to Watercourse Way, and it was excellent! I loved the calming interior and friendly customer service that we were greeted with. This was my first time at Watercourse Way, and her first time in the hot tubs and second time getting a massage here. I was never a big fan of cold plunges, but WW definitely converted me from my previous hardcore negative stance on it.

I called 3 weeks ahead of time to reserve the spa and massage together (since it's required for couples bookings). I booked out the room Nine Bats (with a cold plunge, sauna, and hot tub) for an hour, and then got a deep tissue massage with Angie for myself ($180) and Swedish massage with Lin for my friend ($150). Nine Bats was gorgeous and the hot tub ceiling had a starlit sky light pattern on the top, next time I'll try to book a room with a skylight during the day or when the sun sets!

We alternated between the hot tubs and saunas, with an occasional dip in the cold plunge. Our only request is that the cold plunges be a bit larger- we didn't like feeling mildly claustrophobic in the barrel-shaped pool and standing up in there, we would've preferred if we could float in a cold plunge the size of the hot tub!! But I understand why the cold plunge is a bit smaller, it's just not the popular option for a lot of people. They give you a tote bag with a towel robe and slippers to wear here as well, which is just so thoughtful of the staff!!

The shower inside the sauna is lovely as well, and time flew by in the private room just chatting with my friend. My massage with Angie was very lovely, she was receptive to where I told her to apply pressure and when I told her to lighten up on it. I fell asleep for a little while just because it was so comfortable for me. However, the price was a bit much, along with having to tip on top of it. I don't think the massage was worth it, but the facilities are nice. I'll definitely have to pay a visit to WW during the weekdays when the rates are lower!

I was treated to this amazing spa experience at Watercourse Way Bath House Spa. I stayed in the Eight Stars: Multi-Jetted Spa, Sauna & Cold Plunge, with a resting area. I started in the dry sauna, and then the multi jetted spa for six minutes each, and ended with the cold plunge for four minutes (recommend time is no longer than 3 minutes). I did this on repeat for a few times ending with the cold plunge less than my initial four minutes. This experience was relaxing, soothed my tired, achy body, as well as the arthritis in my hands. Ty the employee that day was welcoming, kind, friendly, and made me feel at home. I stayed in the eight rooms for an hour. The prices are reasonable with lower prices during the week. The rate for the room I had was $60. I received complimentary hot tea, and a complimentary hand made lavender soap in honor of my birthday.

By far the best spa experience I have ever had. This was for my birthday celebration. We really wanted to do the couples massage, but that is something you have to book way in advance as they just get booked up pretty fast.

We visited Watercourse Way on January 27th. We had a morning appointment. We booked for two 60-minute Swedish massages and another 60 minutes in the nine-bath tub room, which is one of their best rooms.

So they have their parking lot, and they have street parking as well. So we had plenty of choices on where to park.

When we arrived, we were checked in, and were given a choice of hot tea and water and so went for the tea. You pay right at check-in, and don't worry; you can pay for your tip later on in a separate transaction.

We were shown to our tub room, and the receptionist who checked us in walked us to our room and showed us what all the button does, and so on and so forth. She showed us where our massage rooms were going to be, and then off we went.

We booked the nine-bath tub room. We enjoyed this room and all its amenities. It has a bed. They gave each one of us bags to use to change into our robes and slippers, and we were able to place our clothes in that bag. The room itself was very relaxing. The starlight ceiling was amazing, as well as the wall design. This room came with a cold plunge, a jetted hot tub, a shower, and a steam room. We did use every single one of the amenities in that room. They provide you with amazing products. I used their shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, and it was really good. The cold plunge was insane, and I mean, it was crazy, but it felt good. It was a great experience. The shower room was really amazing; it even had a wall shower where the water was coming out of the side, and they had a nice-sized seating area in the shower where you could just soak in there; it honestly felt really nice.

Afterward, we went to our respective massage rooms. I had Eve, and my boyfriend had Stacy.

I met up with Eve in one of the 2nd-floor rooms, and I must say the room was really nice and clean. It was very relaxing and smelled really good. Eve was really good with her massage. The only comment I have for her, is to make sure to ask your clients any areas they want you to focus on or any areas your clients want you to stay away from. Also, talk to your clients; I know sometimes were not having a good day, but having a great friendly personality, being asked how your day was, or just something changes your experience.

My boyfriend had Stacy as his masseuse, and he enjoyed every single minute of his massage and after. My boyfriend told me that Stacy was very attentive and was very respectful. My boyfriend has an injury on his left shoulder and Stacy made sure that she was cautious of his injury. After his massage, he was offered to utilize one of their rainfall showers, which my boyfriend did. My boyfriend said the shower experience was really good, and he actually thought I also got the same offer, but when I told him I didn't, he was kind of bummed out because it was a really nice shower experience.

All in all, I do think my boyfriend had more of an amazing experience with his massage than I did. The massage itself was good, but again, the interaction was very plain.

Overall, our experience was really good. I was able to pay the tip separately, which I was worried about cause I did not have cash.

This place is definitely pricey, but it is worth every penny. I think this is also why expected more from Eve. Me and my boyfriend are already planning on coming back, and I had recommended this place to two of my colleagues already, and I think one of them already booked an appt.

First time at water course way. It was easy to book the appointment and research which room to reserve for the hot tub, cold plunge and the sauna. We reserved the room for an hour before my spouse and I's massage.

I left my bathing suit bottoms hanging in the reserved room with hot tub/cold plunge, etc. I went after my massage and asked the front desk if anyone found any bathing suit bottoms. They mentioned nothing was found and they will call me back.

They called me later and they didn't find anything as they do the laundry which they have a vendor to do that off-site. Those bikini bottoms were $150 and were never turned in or found. Unfortunate to lose my bathing suit bottom within 1 hour after my massage. Make sure you don't leave anything - you may not find it again.
