We worked with Jacob to remodel our entire downstairs, including kitchen, bathroom and adding a sliding door to the patio. He had a wonderful energy from the initial consultation. Jacob is super transparent and a great communicator, and was always ensuring we were all on the same page throughout the project. He made the remodel seem like a big, fun project instead of a huge, burdensome undertaking. Everything was completed on time and exactly to specifications, even with some surprises (not unexpected when opening up the walls and changing the layout of a 70s house) that he handled seamlessly with us. Not only was he great at the project management side of things, keeping budget, scope, timeline and quality top of mind, he has a great design mind and actually gets different styles and aesthetics. I loved that I didn't have to spell out every single little detail to him, but rather that he understood how to weave things into the overall design process we were trying to achieve. It was also super helpful having all the many moving pieces of a major remodel fall under one point of contact - Jacob. Permitting, designer and design mock ups, architect and structural, construction, electric, plumbing, etc, all were managed by him so that to us, the homeowners, the process was clear cut and simple to navigate. For our next home remodel, we won't hesitate to work with Jacob again and look forward to it!

Overall working with Jacob was a great experience. Most importantly for us We Do Construction came in with a very reasonable bid and were able to manage a complicated permitting & city process for us expertly. During the process they communicated well, did professional work, kept everything clean, and moved quickly. We do construction also really went above and beyond to make sure we were happy at the end of the project, even fixing a couple extra things in our house that were not strictly under their scope of work. I would definitely work with them again.

I would like to say thank you to We Do Construction for doing a great job with our project. I reached out to a few general contractors to remodel our sunroom and get a new floor and stair for the room next to it. Most contractors only do Kitchen, Garage, or Bathroom, but We Do Construction handles all kinds of works.

In the consultation appointment, I can see he cares about our experience and what the vision for our room would be like. For someone like us with little knowledge about construction, he explained to us exactly what they would do and why we should do something. During the project, he closely monitored and always asked what we thought about the current progress to make sure we were satisfied with what we were seeing. All of the little details to make the room look nice are all taken care of, and I think that is important. The construction crews were always on time and nice to talk to. They cleaned everything up nicely after the work is done.

The crew itself did a great job renovating our bathroom. It really was quite sad looking before and it's not the best bathroom in our house by far

They had a cleaning crew come after to make sure every surface was clean and nice so we didn't have to do anything afterwards in the bathroom or around to make it livable or usable.

It was great working with Jacob and the We Do Construction team. We had our guest and master baths remodeled. We had an engaging conversation when we met for the first time to talk about our project. He was very detailed oriented taking photos and measurements and we got a detailed quote fast. He made our vision come true.

The construction process was pretty smooth. I liked that there was a Google sheet to keep track of all the items we needed for the bathroom remodels. There was a WhatsApp group chat to keep everything organized with payments, construction updates, and inspection schedules. They made sure to put up barriers to keep dust out of other areas of our home. They made it easy to get our custom glass for our shower and custom counter fabricated and installed. If there were any issues that we encountered, they made sure to fix them. After the bathrooms were completed, they had cleaners come to clean the bathrooms and deep clean the rugs.

I think we all know the story of what happens when you want to do one little thing and it becomes a series of things. One thing led to another and soon we found ourselves needing to find a contractor ASAP to remodel both our guest and en suite bathrooms due to water damage that we didn't know existed prior. We eventually chose We Do Construction because of the warm introduction and presentation Jacob, their owner and CEO, gave for the project.

Jacob met with myself, my spouse, and our children, engaging with them just as much as the adults, which made our first chat quite enjoyable. He was very attentive to what we wanted and took pictures, measurements and detailed notes during the initial walkthrough. We didn't want anything over the top, but we certainly wanted to modernize the bathrooms and bring everything up to code. At no point did he try to push to do more than what we envisioned, and offered reasonable suggestions when asked.

Jacob was very clear from the start that in order to get the project done in a timely manner, we needed to get all the finishing materials ready. He and Hai, the interior designer on the team, have an amazing master list on a tracking spreadsheet to help keep everyone accountable on what has been ordered and delivered. Hai was able to help us get a beautiful navy blue 72" double sink vanity from Wyndham Collection, and figure out what to do with our en suite layout after taking out a mostly non-functional jacuzzi tub. This helped us keep stay on top of our budget, and any change orders we made were reasonable in price.

All active communications took place over WhatsApp, which made it easy to send questions and pictures if we had any concerns. Everyone in the group was so prompt in answering our messages!

All in all, this took about two months (not including pauses due to shipment delays - pro tip: order your tiles EARLY!!!), and Jacob and Yoni (project manager) made sure we were happy with the results, taking care of any remaining small things (e.g. fixing weird spots of uneven paint, repairing dents in the wall from moving all the stuff in and out of the house, etc.). They even had professional cleaners to come in and tidy things up once the construction was complete, including deep cleaning our carpet.

A very big shoutout to Amanda (office manager), Yoni, Juan and Rigo: your hard work and attention to detail helped turn our very dimly lit, water-damaged bathrooms into something beautiful and relaxing to be in! Your team are all so friendly and have great senses of humor which made it so easy to communicate with you.

We had the pleasure of working with Jacob and We Do Construction on the remodeling of our kitchen in our loft. We had a fairly good idea of what we wanted but had been delaying for years, because we feared that it would be a headache and drag on for months, like many of our neighbors in our building.

Our fears could not have been further from the truth. Jacob and his team including Yoni and Juan Jose, were amazing. They were professional, thoughtful and excellent at what they do. On numerous occasions they foresaw potential issues and resolved them quickly and effectively. They were also able to deal with the unexpected issues that arise in any remodel project particularly in older lofts and renovations. They were able to secure the permits that took our neighbors months to get, in a matter of days, and when we needed a solution for a plumbing issue that came up because of the poor design of our building, they were able to develop and execute a plan in a day - it was genius!
