Shout out to Adam, Gabriel, Astan, and Marat! I was dreading having to move my parents across LA county but the team at West Coast Movers were extremely helpful. They made the entire process seamless. Adam and team came in early. Handled 3 fridges, a giant desk, washer, dryer, 2 bedrooms, and a garage full of a lifetime of items without complaint. They were extremely careful not to damage anything while moving at a rapid pace. Without them the process would have taken a full month rather than a single day.

This time around there's about 20 broken items and they even broke a sconce in our brand new house and didn't even bother to tell us it happened. 300+ dollar tip and we even gave them an 82" TV that we couldn't take with us to our new house. I am disappointed to say the least but I guess it really matters which group of employees you get. Better luck to the next person I guess....
May 4, 2020Previous reviewWhere do I start?!? These guys responded to my yelp inquiry in about 4 seconds with a clear upfront breakdown of prices. They were available when I needed them. They showed up right on time. They kept me up to the minute with their arrival time with text message updates. They came in, were wearing uniforms, clean, organized and ready to go. Extremely clean. They didn't waste a minute of our time or theirs. They packed all my unpacked miscellaneous items neatly. Not one thing was damaged during the move. Not one scuff on the walls. They were very polite to boot. I cannot say enough good things. We will 100% reccomend and be keeping their number.

I've now used this company twice and both times it was great! This review is for my most recent office move.
Starting from the scheduling of the move, it was made easy and the process was fast.
The move itself was all done within the 3 hr minimum requirement. David and his crew from Rocket Moving (the sister company) were friendly and very focused. Even when there were some complications on my end, they adjusted quickly! I would highly recommend them. Ask for David!! Booked my second service with this company and it was questionable from the start. I called the number listed and was connected with someone. I told this person that their company helped us moved everything into a U-Haul while we replaced our floor and now we need everything moved back in. She quoted me more $245/hr with a $10/hr discount which was more expensive than the first job and not what I had been previously been quoted. I informed her that I was previously quoted $215/hour for this second move and she did adjust the price.
Everything seemed in order, gave my card information for the deposit, and then ended the call. However, the payment receipt came in from Rocket Moving which was very confusing for me since this wasn't the company I called and had worked with. I sent an email to the original rep I booked with but assumed I wouldn't hear back given the holiday so I called back to confirm what was happening. This time, instead of answering the call, the new rep called me from a different number and wanted to know why I was calling -- it was really weird. She confirmed that they were a sister company to West Coast Movers.
I eventually did hear back from someone at West Coast Movers and they confirmed that Rocket Moving is an affiliate company. I felt a little more at ease and requested that the same crew that moved us out be scheduled to move us in -- this crew was familiar with our layout and rooms so it just made sense. They said they would add this to our request.
A few days pass and the new rep called me back to ask what was being moved. This was all information that I had previously provided her and really made me question why I booked this company. It's clear that there appears to be no system communication between the 2 companies or process. I feel like they should easily been able to look at my last move and get all the information they needed.
The crew that came today was not the same crew. They tell me that before they can get started, I need to sign some documents to which I tell them I already signed all the estimate documents. I was told these were different and instead of letting me read this new document, I'm presented with a signature screen. I let him know I need to read what I'm signing first so he exits the signature screen and the "new document" is literally the same estimate document that I already signed. I sign it again and they begin.
This new crew know nothing about how the U-Haul was packed and what rooms everything needed to go into. What was supposed to be an easy move-in started to became super stressful as the original crew DIDN'T label any of the boxes. The new crew is quickly bringing things in while I'm opening boxes trying to figure out where everything goes. This was just such a different experience from our move out.
They then start brining our appliances in and inform me that they cannot reconnect anything that was disconnected. That I should have been told this when they disconnected everything but I wasn't and it wasn't in any of the documents I signed. This is arguably the most important part of the move.
This entire time my partner is on the phone with either West Coast Movers or Rocket Moving -- honestly who knows at this point. The owner is telling us that if the move goes over 3 hours, they won't charge us any extra. All you're doing is emptying a U-Haul, it shouldn't take more than 2 hours max and your minimum work is for 3 hours -- you're not really trying to find a resolution for us. We only agreed to $215/hour for 3 hours because we were expecting the same, breezy experience as last time but that is not what we got.
Essentially, they might be good on your first move but don't schedule them again if you need the house moved back in because they will have no idea where things go and nothing is labeled. It would have just been easier if we moved everything back in ourselves which...is actually what we are going to have to do at this point.Helpful 4Thanks 2Love this 1Oh no 0Aug 29, 2023Previous reviewEverything was great -- from booking with Robert to the moving crew! The crew packed our entire house in 4 short hours and neatly tucked everything away in our Uhaul. I was very impressed with how organized their process was. They were very polite the entire time and made sure to ask questions about what was being packed when needed. Just truly a pleasure to work with! We're doing construction in our house so we'll need to have everything unpacked in about a week and will definitely be calling West Coast Movers to help us get everything back in.

Horrible service.. delivered items 30 days late.. didn't care didn't offer a discount constantly lying to us and coming up with excuses to validate.. pickup was May 12th stuff finally getting dropped off today July 4th 4000 dollars not one penny discounted. Disgraceful customer service
