Western Eagle Shuttle

Two dear friends used Western Eagle for taking us to and from a wedding in Tomales! Much of the planning was done by the bride and groom + planner, but I was slightly involved as our group of three (which included one person with a torn ACL, and one person on crutches) needed special accommodations. They were totally flexible about picking us up at a hotel midway between their originally planned pickup spot and the wedding venue. There was some confusion due to another wedding party being picked up at the same spot, but they handled it quickly and smoothly in the moment and got us all to the wedding okay!
Would recommend for their practicality and no-nonsense shuttling!

What's a FANTASTIC experience.

Long story short, these guys sacred out special day after the bus rental we had scheduled from another company flaked on us in the last minute.

We called in a panic on Friday evening trying to figure out how to transport 10 people to a drive in college graduation at Sonoma State.

Chris arrived promptly, and took us to the campus where we got to park and take pictures. Super cool conversations and when it was time to formal he expertly got us into the best photo position.

On the way home he even stopped in front of the University sign for another photo opp.

Awesome experience, 10 stars.

We hired Western Eagle to provide shuttles for our wedding in West Marin and they did an incredible job! Our shuttle needs were a little complex because we had guests staying in a few different locations. Western Eagle Shuttle was able to accommodate everything! We worked with Chris to figure out what the most efficient pickup schedule would be, and everyone was able to get to the event on time. For us, it was a huge relief to know our guests could relax and enjoy our wedding while having a safe way home at the end of the evening on the shuttles. It was also extremely cost effective; many wedding shuttle services require that you buy very expensive packages for like 10 hours of service, even though you do not end up using their services in the middle of the event. Western Eagle Shuttle allows you to set up 2 hour blocks of time around when you actually need shuttles, so you are not paying for service hours that you don't need. If you're planning a wedding, I would highly recommend looking into their services as it could save you a lot of money overall while not compromising on quality of service.

Over the 6+ years since I've been using Western Eagle, there has been consistently on-time service, flexibility with flight changes, comfortable vans, safe drivers and super responsive information. Even in the middle of the night, someone answers the phone and ensures there will be a pick-up whether at SFO or Oakland airport. In a recent trip, the airline delayed my flight causing not only a radically different time pick-up but a shif to a different airport. Their driver Rimpy arrived on time despite these quick changes and heavy traffic. His warmth, lively conversation and overall fun banter was such a treat after 11+ hours of travel. Western Eagle has my highest recommendation!

I do not recommend Western Eagle transport. We had a ride set up and they did not call us, so we called to confirm and were told we were not on the schedule. Needless to say we got other transport. Then FOUR hours later, western eagle called back. We explained what happened and he went ahead and charged our credit card anyway. No ride. We are disputing the charge. The person on the phone was rude and yelled at us, which was unprofessional, and not necessary because we did nothing wrong. Don't use the service!!! They stink!

I have used this service for many years. They are reliable, friendly and reasonably priced. This is not the "champagne train to the wine country" but if you need basic transportation to the airport or some other location, they can't be beat. I used them just a month ago to get to OAK. I pay cash.

I really don't understand a review that refers to "their customer service department", or "undisclosed surcharges". This is a family business, and they are completely upfront.

Great service, my friend and I had a wonderful experience with George. The shuttle picked us up near baggage claim at SFO and dropped off in Santa Rosa. George was great to talk to and he made sure to avoid traffic by finding the best route to our destination. Would definitely use again and recommend!

This company completely lacks transparency and professionalism. They quote prices incorrectly online and then add a ton of undisclosed surcharges after the fact. Their customer service group is unhelpful, argumentative, and aggressive. NEVER use this company. You are better offer with an Uber, and that's saying a lot. If I could give zero stars, I would.

DO NOT BOOK. Dishonest and they will ruin your trip.

I booked online. They sent me an email confirmation for 5am.
They have a 24-hour cancellation policy, but waited until 12 hours before my ride to have an employee call to tell me they could only do 5:30am and that if I didn't accept I would be charged anyway because of their 24-hour cancellation policy. The employee tried to convince me I did not need 2 hours before an international flight. That's my decision, not theirs.

I asked them to cancel and confirm they are not charging me, but no response. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS OUTFIT IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR TRIP.

I have to say the employee was very nice and I felt bad that I was putting her in the middle of a fight. But the owner of this company is dishonest and unethical. He also shouldn't be making his poor employees do his dirty work for him either.
