I was facing an emergency situation after driving into a giant pothole at night and destroying one of my run flats. Called the shop early the next morning and Michael said he'd provide some options. I ended up driving down there an hour later.

Long story short, by 2pm I had a new replacement tire on my car and the alignment was straightened out, thanks to Michael. He knew I had some afternoon commitments and ensured my car would be ready to go and I was kept apprised of status. Happy to get it all done within a half day and save the expense and annoyance of getting a rental.

It wasn't cheap ($500) but part of that was due to me not walking through the original quote to understand that the alignment "check" wasn't the fee for an actual alignment, which was necessary. Live and learn, but overall satisfied with my experience here.

I had an appointment at 10 am and was told I could pick up my car around 12:30 pm. I mentioned that if it finished early or if anything came up, they should call me. I didn't hear anything until 12:00 pm, so I called to check. They said they were waiting for a part and it would be ready around 2:30 pm, or they would call me.

I came back at 3:00 pm, and they said it still wasn't ready and would take another hour. I returned at 4:10 pm, and it was still not ready; they told me maybe another 15-20 minutes.

I am really upset as this took my whole day. They then apologized and explained they had thought they didn't have the part, so they started working on another car instead! This was extremely frustrating and unprofessional.

GO ELSEWHERE! They royally messed up the simple job of an oil change: Almost 2 weeks after they changed my oil, I noticed a small puddle coming from underneath my car. The oil was all but gone, and only the tip of the dipstick had any on it. I setup an appointment the next day, I had the car towed to their shop, and I asked them to double-check their previous work. Over the phon, the Latin woman at the front desk tried to make it sound as if the issue was unrelated to the previous job, and she falsely claimed only half the oil was gone!

It turned out that the first time around, they used a faulty filter that didn't sit well, and it caused the leakage. Then, the woman at the front desk handed me the key and said, "Here you go!" No apologies for almost ruining my engine, or for a messing up a simple job, or for ruining my weekend plans and wasting my time, or for the expenses I incurred towing my car and Ubering to the shop! She reeked of smugness, and she acted as if THEY were doing ME a favor by fixing their f up!

I've had my share of unscrupulous and shady mechanics, but this experience takes the cake. I wouldn't drive my car near their shop again, let alone give them another opportunity to royally mess it up!

I'm exploring all options to ensure no one else goes through what I went through.
In the meantime, STAY AWAY! Don't be lured by their promotions; Evidently they use inferior components and half-ass it to make the economics work!

I have two cars and I need my tires done. When I first went there, a slightly overweight brunette male employee helped me. First of all, this person does not even look at the face of anyone who wants to get information there, including me. He acts like he's saving the world. I made two reservations. When I went there for first reservation, the person did not enter the reservation I made for my second car into the system. He didn't even apologize for this and didn't even look at me again. If you go as a customer, the lady standing there does her job better. It's a big company, but it lost a family as a customer because of a ridiculous employee.

Solid and super friendly shop in San Mateo. Called late on a Sunday and they took us for an appointment. Patched a tire quickly, efficiently and pretty cheap too. All in all a super positive experience.

This location didn't do anything wrong but they didn't do anything right. We called about a flat and they told us to come down so we did. When we got there we were told they were busy and there was a wait- fine. It was almost 3pm and they told us it would be done by 6 (which was closing time)- also fine. The person behind the counter quoted me a price for fixing a flat - I think it was like 40 bucks- and I asked how much it would be to replace the tire if they couldn't fix it and he said he'd call me if they needed to replace it. So we wandered around San Mateo for 3 hours and around 5:40 we headed back. We got there and the guy told me "your tire doesn't have enough tread to repair" and that they didn't have a replacement in stock. He also said that there was no charge.

Why couldn't someone have checked that when we dropped it off? He could have said "we can't do this today for these reasons" and we would probably have asked to order the tire and come back. But after we wasted 3 hours for nothing I'm going somewhere else.

I took my car here after experiencing unusual vibration in my front wheel at highway speeds. It was ready by 5:30 since I brought it in mid afternoon and they had a few cars in the ports ahead of me. I just requested alignment to make sure it wasnt just a simple fix rather than looking towards more expensive suspension options. Cost 72 to check align all 4 tires. Rotation was free since theyre already removing the tires.

Michael explained that my wheel was bent and could be repaired for $190 which is about the same price as a new alloy wheel for my car. His inspection made sense considering the number if potholes I see driving on 101 and san francisco.

As I visually inspected the tire in question I did notice the typical curb rash scratches on the edges which were there before I brought it in but the vibration is still present despite rotation towards the back. He offered to order the new tire. Overall I had a more pleasant experience here compared to previous work done on my other cars with big o tires. Thanks Michael.

Michael and his team are great. Great attitude and communication skills. They have a great alignment and tire rotation package that saves a ton of money over the life of your car.

Giselle at the front counter was super friendly helpful. I ordered two tires for my fiat in the morning but found out I only one tire had bulging issues. So when I dropped it off, I said I only need the drivers side replaced. The mechanic installed both and even though they were only supposed to do the one. Giselle took care of me $$ and I will definitely be coming back! Great customer service!!

Trying to deal with a tire warranty issue. I was told by the tire manufacturer to go into where I purchased the tires. Have someone look at them and then call the manufacture while I was there. Staff not helpful at all. Continued making excuses.

Keep me waiting in the middle of the process by calling another customer and answering the phone. Finally went out to look at the tires, more excuses. Finally called the tire manufacturer after me having to look up the number. Then she put the tire manufacturer warranty department on hold first for a couple of minutes, and then for over 10 minutes while answering other calls. When she finally went back to that phone line the manufacturer had hung up.

She began making more excuses, saying that they're not going to do anything, when I was just trying to follow what was instructed by the tire manufacture warranty department.

I was over there for over 30 minutes, and it seems like she was going to start the whole process again.

Such a waste of time for everybody

I had had the car in 10 minutes earlier to try to address this issue and they offered no resolution, we should have contacted the tire manufacturer then.

Issues from start to finish. I would never waste my time going back there again.
