Wild Feather

Wild Feather is a hidden little gem and if your not intentionally looking for it you'll miss it. It's located downstairs next door to black pancake records so make sure to keep your eyes peeled.

This little boutique is super cute and artsy with men's and women's clothing, accessories and some awesome outlandish pieces that will truly make you stand out from the rest.

I really enjoyed what I saw and would have bought some pieces but unfortunately didn't have much time that day. I also highly enjoyed chatting with the very friendly owner who was helpful and very welcoming.

I would definitely come back if I'm ever in the mood to buy one of the fancier dresses. I saw a few Goth Victorian style dresses that were simply gorgeous and I think they were priced somewhere around $100 +, which I thought was a great price for it's uniqueness.

I give this little boutique 2 thumbs up for unique merchandise and awesome service!

Love this store so much! As everyone said before: the collection of local/small business designers is wonderful. I ordered some things online and they arrived the next day! (I live locally, but still so fast!). But their store has much much more than their website so I definitely recommend stopping by if you're local. I cut myself off after I bought armfuls of clothes last time: catsuitz, kimonos, shorts, fur vest, leggings- they all fit true to size and the quality is superb. And of course ... my Tamo baroness coat is a true star. Their clothes are beautiful, stylish yet comfortable. Prices are quite reasonable (especially if you hit a sale). Much of these items are handmade with lots of details and you can't find the same level of quality, design, and comfort at online retailers. Oh and friendly/helpful staff too! My fave clothing store in SF!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Wild Feather! I've been shopping there for years for myself, my husband, friends, and even found some cool holiday gifts for my mom and sister. My husband loves the guys section with unique clothing he can wear to parties or even the office on occasion and always gets lots of compliments. I've worn my Baroness coats to the playa, parties in SF, fancy dinners and the theater. It's so cozy and versatile! I love supporting local designers as well as local businesses. Win win!

There was not a single item in this super charming boutique my friend and I did not like it. My friend was looking to get some cute/sexy/fun outfit for the Pride Parade the following day and we could not get what we wanted there, because honestly is not a place to get some sort of costume but very unique pieces. Prices are moderate considering many clothes are made my local designers in small batches. The store is very inviting and the lady working there very helpful and not pushy. Everything looks and smells pretty at Wild Feather!

I love this store. The styles are very unique in a GOOD way. With how much time I spend in San Francisco I was surprised I hadn't heard of the store before now. I was recently at Noc Noc bar literally right down the street with a friend on a Saturday night and they had a really good DJ from the UK playing. I actually talked with him after he was done playing and he told me he lives a couple doors down in the same building as the store (Wild Feather). He invited me over but that wasn't something I do. I did however, check out the store a few days later with a friend. I have since bought a few things online and I love every single one of them. I am super curious if the in-store inventory is consistent with the online selections because if not I would love to go in and shop in-person. I would keep an eye out for the guy who lives there but he was really nice so I wouldn't be too concerned about it. Anyway I love the clothes, love the designs and can't wait to shop again soon.

Do yourself a favor and book an appointment and get yourself some fresh threads. Even if you only need a wardrobe that goes from the waste up they've got you covered. Their stuff is timeless. Many artists and Designers make one of a kind clothes and jewelry in small batches. Check it out. Love this store and so do my friends. The masks are the best and can hang from your neck. This one I didn't adjust well but they're cute and fit well.

I am in love with the staff at Wild Feather - from Star Feather to Goddess Feather - they are all rockstars. I can't stop laughing and smiling when I come in here. I walk out feeling more radiant and always sporting a new and elegant piece of what's up jewelry.

This gem of a place has lots of cute sparkly things, oversized sunglasses, and furs.

What they don't have is service. The one woman working the store this weekend took her sweet time talking to me at all. I asked her about doing a custom piece with reversible sequin fabric I brought in -- something I had seen on about a dozen items I perused while she helped others. She wasn't a straight up b!@ch about it, but her responses were mostly taken aback and kind of condescending. "You know we are really busy right now ... we're a collective of designers ... do you know a designer? Maybe they can help you. You really have to know the right person for something like that."

Well, yes, I told her. I do know designers, because this isn't the first freaking boutique I've wandered into. "Sorry, but good luck to you." I lingered a bit because the stuff really did look cool. She looked equally nonplussed and not interested in selling me anything. I won't be returning.
