Window Tinting A Plus

Got my car windows tinted last week here and I'm very satisfied. There were some closer places to my home but my nephew recommended them and the reviews seemed good so I made an appt. I believe I got a reasonable price. Was told it might take about an hour and a half but it was done in less than an hour. They have some couches to sit on while waiting which was nice because I don't live in the area. Friendly staff and my widows look very nice! No bubbles and comes with a 3 year warranty. I would definitely go back! Only thing that was hard for me was knowing where to pull in. I should have called before. You pull in a small driveway and with my new car I was scared to scratch it. But I made it in and when my car was finished he brought it out front for me and made it so much easier. I still gave 5 stars because it was just me being scared to scratch my car. Lol. Thanks again guys :-)

This is the third vehicle I have had windows tinted here.
A GTI (see pic on Yelp!), an F250 and this F150 Lightning.
Set up a late appointment within a day of calling.
Had the two windows up front matched to the tinting (50% Ford) in the rear.
All of 30 minutes or so was the wait.
And the price? Can't beat them.
Friendly quality service from these guys.
Will definitely be back with the next set of wheels!

I stopped by Window Tinting A Plus around a month ago to get a side window tinted, the old brow removed from my windshield, a 70% windshield tint, and a new brow to be placed on top of the windshield tint. The estimate for the job was around two hours, and it was very accurate. I sat in the lobby to get some work done and right at the two hour mark, my car was ready.

It's been some time now so I've been able to let the windows cure and they generally look pretty good -- there are no air bubbles or dust particles anywhere. The only issue I had with my tint was with the front visor strip. The piece was hand cut and there are obviously imperfections in the tinting (i.e. jagged edges and the curve is slightly off). It's not noticeable if you're 10 feet away, but if you're looking at it closely and you are a perfectionist, this will definitely bother you.

They offer 3M IR ceramic tint at this shop but expect to pay a premium for it as opposed to normal non-ceramic tint.

Overall, I was pretty satisfied with the tint job. Pricing is on par with other "high-end" tint shops in the Bay.

Quick response to quote request, provided all requested information. Installation was also quick and painless. Very glad I finally did this.

I recently had my new CX5 tinted here. They did a really great job. Moreover, there was a defect in the rear window tint (material itself), and as soon as I brought it to their attention, they got me in right away and got a replacement put on. Staff is super friendly and responsive. Would highly recommend!

They tinted the roof of my Tesla. Turned out really well, it was super fast, only two hours, and they were friendly. One part was slightly off and they had no issues fixing it quickly the next day. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Had them tint my Jetta 3 years ago and it wasn't looking so good.

I was about to utilize their Lifetime Guarantee but decided it was time for a new car and traded it in.

Wouldn't choose this place again cause it's just a hassle to have to have it redone after a couple years.

Got better things to do with my time.

Was really pleased with Hector's level of service, timelines, and value for the money. I had been quoted a bit lower and a bit higher so this was exactly in line with what I was hoping my tint would cost. Hector advised on a good tint for my car and I'm super pleased with the result.

Got full PPF installed with paint correction. Hector is friendly and amazing to work with, they did a fantastic job, and I would highly recommend them!

I found Hector by messaging various places on yelp to tint my car. Hector was quick to reply and sent me a link with their proposal which included 3 types of 3m film and also Johnson film along with a short description of what each film is good at.

I chose to go in on a Saturday and they had my car done in an hour. I did 3m Ceramic IR on the side windows and 3m Crystalline on the back because they didn't care large rolls of Ceramic.

Overall I think they did a good job. All the side windows look perfect. The back window has one crease and a couple parts where they cut incorrectly so there is a tiny bit not tinted. Not the biggest deal but my last car I had tinted at another shop and they did it perfectly so I know it is possible, albeit hard.

They purposely left the 3m logo on the side windows (they said they did on the back too but I still can't find it) so I know the different films they used.

My reason for 4 instead of 5 stars:
- back window not has a crease
- they bent the ribbon for defrost on back window -- hopefully it still works but they agreed to take responsibility if it is broken
- they left some of the film backing in the car -- again, not a big deal but worth noting.

I will be back with my next car because they were friendly and their prices are great. They aren't perfect, but I think it is worth it for their price.

It's a family run business. I can say that Hector is incredibly talented at detailing and fine-tuning the beauty of any motor vehicle. I personally had amazing experiences. Also, he is the king of connections. If you ever need something related to cars, he knows the right people to ask and goes above and beyond to help out his customers get the help they need whether it be finding the right body repair shop to tinting/aesthetics at a reasonable price too! I'm really grateful to have run into him and finding this business. I'm a loyal customer forever.

I came for

1) 3M crystalline tinting all the Tesla glass windows. I felt a difference in less heat, since heat impacts battery power. Also, in case of crash or cracks, the tinting holds and prevents higher severity of damages.

2) One of my windows cracked and Hector replaced it for so much cheaper saying that he wanted to just ask for the price of the material itself since I've gotten mine done here.

3) I was not happy with the Tesla Y Performance grey color and regretted not getting blue. But it all changed now I'm super happy with my Gunmetal Gray Matte I got done by Hector. It's a masterpiece now. I feel so happy. People say it looks like a batmobile. Everyone where I work asks me where I got it done and what color that is.

4) I had a unfortunate event where a truck hit me and was so sad. Hector went above and beyond to help out. He got me connected to the right people to get it fixed within a few days at a reasonable price. If I had gone through insurance it would have taken months.
