Food was plenty, service was good. Food comes out all at once, entree and bonchon on a tray. Would have liked bonchon first so I can enjoy my drink and conversation. I would have had another drink or two if I had the opportunity. Anyway, it's a good spot.

1 star for having to make four calls to find out they can't make any of their chicken dishes without chicken breast. First call, a lady answered in Korean and hung up on me after the question. Second, call a fax machine. Third call, a busy signal. Fourth call, some man calls up that is not able to communicate in English well. I diiscover everything is dark meat chicken through a very difficult and strained conversation. Nope!

I love finding these little hideaway restaurants when we're traveling. It is a simple Korean restaurant serving traditional Korean meals with friendly service. You can't ask for much more. I had made a reservation, but on a weeknight, it's probably not needed even though it's a small place. There is street parking on this quiet Langley residential street. Our server was very nice and chatted with us when it wasn't busy.

Starting off, we shared a bottle of peach soju for a toast and tasted the banchan. We played it safe and ordered more familiar dishes, though some other dishes that other Yelpers recommended sounded more adventurous. The Japchae was pretty substantial and tasty with lots of slivered beef to go with the clear sweet potato noodles & vegetables. For proteins, the ol' standbys for us are pork belly and kalbi beef short ribs, both served in sizzling dishes. Don't forget to dip the belly in the bean sauce and wrap it in romaine lettuce. Supplement those with a seafood & scallion pancake and a steaming, bubbly crock of spicy soondubu soup and we are stuffed.

Fun Fact: Makgeolli is a by-product of the soju production process and is usually pretty low-cost compared to soju.

More Soju, please! (I hope we weren't too loud)

We arrived to restaurant a little before 8pm and there's still several tables of patrons dining inside. No wait and were seated immediately to a table.

We ordered the beef bulgogi meal and the Gom tang. Both meals arrived to our table in individual meal trays with a bowl of rice, bon chons ( and soup w bulgogi) food was authentically good.

Their service is good but they are very focus on closing at 9pm sharp. we were informed TWICE their kitchen 'last call' was at 8:30 :-( this is why 4 stars

they are a neighborhood restaurant with street parking only. Next time we will come earlier

Don't be skirmish about eating raw shrimps. This is affordable gourmet food. The perfect bite. Freshness, great texture and flavour, with savory, sweet, spicy, umami all at once. The marinade is bang on. The accompanying warm raw egg yolk over rice and the balanced kelp soup were great pairings. Simple yet complex at the same time. It is exciting yet also fills you up.

Not bad! Good prices and decent food. I don't think they use garlic .. so seasonings are more mild and balanced, but for garlic lovers like me I need garlic slices to eat with my Bossam! Besides that everything else was pretty good. It's more 3.5 than 4 but I just rounded up.

Jjangmyeon, Bossam, Soft Tofu Stew. Mandoo. The stew was the best out of all that we ordered.

I drove out to Langley and have never been in this area. It was a tough morning. I needed a beer for lunch and some soup, because it's Vancouver weather. Beer was nice and cold, I appreciate the glass and the opener. Is this how they do it in Korea? Someone kidnap me!- to Korea.

No 24 Bean Paste Soup with Beef Brisket, Clams, Tofu and vegetables $13.95
Very nice tasting, Beef sliced was very thin and soft, there was tofu and sprouts, korean squash and onions. ONE small clam.

Banchan was nice, the usual of cabbage kimchi, tossed sprouts, candied potatoes, lastly... first in Canada for me, "JEON"/ tempura style fried something... today was korean squash for a "normal barchan set". They spoiling us.

      Would I come back, yes.
Did I feel well? I was super thirsty, that soup stock has some extra seasonings ;)
