I would give Jomar more than 5 stars if I could. Excellent communication, pride in his work, helped me out with an additional small job I had and didn't charge extra as it was still within one hour. So glad I found Jomar since moving to Bushwick. He will remain my go-to handyman for everything going forward! Not only does he do great work, he is a kind soul and a pleasure to be around. As a non-native NYer, I am thankful to have found a great and trustworthy handyman!

After consulting with several handymen, Jomar provided the most reasonable estimate at the outset. He was also the most responsive and communicative. He was highly professional and took the time to explain the rationale for his pricing. As far as the job itself, Jomar was on time, diligent, professional, and pleasant to spend a few hours with. I find him to be highly trustworthy. I couldn't ask for more out of a handyman. Accordingly, I would not hesitate to utilize Jomar's services again and recommend him to others.

My partner and I live in a loft apartment. 3 of the very tall walls were brick covered in old flaking paint. The loft we live in is pretty janky (NYC style), so we weren't looking for an expensive strip and repaint job. We wanted to seal in the flakes with a new fresh paint and forget about it. I wasn't sure how we'd find someone to do this, until we came across Wow NYC Handy Men. Jomar was quick to respond, and came by for an estimate. Jomar gave us a very reasonable quote, so we decided to go for it!

We wanted to be out of the apartment while the painting was being done, and Jomar was very flexible and accommodating with our schedules. We gave him a key, and he and his team did a beautiful job while we were gone. We really love it.

I moved to my new home and called Jomar for assembly tv stand, chest drawer, frames, plant hangers etc.

He did FANTASTIC job! He is super professional, careful, kind and super friendly. He did amazing job in 5 hours. If I need help, I'll definitely call him again. Absolutely five stars!

I'm never picking up a drill again. Jomar was awesome. Not only did he do a beautiful job but he talked me through the choices he made and why (like what kind of anchors he used because of how the wall was built). Super friendly, wore a mask, efficient and on time, really cannot say enough. We're currently looking through the house to see what else we can have him do!

Called WOW to arrange for the installation of safety bars in two bathrooms. The owner, a personable fellow, was very responsive and came to do the job himself. Very professional and did an excellent job being careful to ensure that bars were installed in a very secure fashion. Meticulous clean up. Will use them again and highly recommend.

Hired Jomar to hang two TV swivel mounts and a large mirror. Extremely knowledgeable and thought through his work like a true professional. Dog friendly and shared some great stories. Will rehire for my next job!

Jomar came in and hung several paintings in my apt. He worked with precision and speed using a laser sight to ensure everything was lined up. The anchors he used were perfect for the art i have such that they stay i their position and level. He also provided good feedback and suggestions in terms of where he would place the art which was great advice. All this for a fair price and flexible scheduling. Jomar is a no brainer.
