Xcelerated Adventures

I needed to improve my heart health after my annual physical exam and my doctor suggested that I go hiking.

Its really fun to intentionally go out and take a break from my usual office routine.

And so my love book with Xcelerated and the adventure began. Very thankful to Chase our guide very considerate and patient with us (our first time and we are very slow). He was also very helpful in letting us know what to expect and what to bring prior the adventure.

I went on a hike with Xcelerated. Chase our tour guide drove us from Manhattan to Sams Point in upstate New York. He took us through the lake, the waterfall, the ice caves and the top of the cliff. Sams Point is a breathtaking. Most of the hikes people need a car to get there but with Xcelerated Adventures they drive you to the destination which is great. And you get to hike with awesome people. You have to get a photo at the top of the cliff and its breathtaking views. The lake is serene and calm. The hike to the waterfall is stunning.

Highly recommend Xcelerated Adventures, Chase was our guide on this hike. He was very knowledgeable of the trails, helpful to us as well as anyone around us whom needed help. He was very patient and never rushed us. This was my first adventure with Xcelerated Adventures but will definitely not be my last. From the moment you book your adventure, the communication is top notch! I couldn't have been part of a better team!!

I can't imagine having anyone else as a guide on a hike. When I go on hikes again, I'll probably be nostalgic for this one the whole time.

When we were hiking/scrambling, Chase was super informative about the trial. When we were driving we heard some awesome stories.

It was a completely unforgettable experience. Super convenient too! It involved almost no planning on our part, which was awesome. We just showed up, hiked, had our photos taken, and got to keep the amazing memories.

I did not have a great experience with Xcelerated Adventures. I was really excited about the Tandem Hang Gliding experience that they offer. I purchased my seat a couple weeks in advanced. I was really prepared to go but had some questions so I called but any time I called their phone number I was sent straight to voicemail. There was NEVER someone available on the phone. No one has ever reached back to me. They then canceled on me last minute and I have yet to receive a refund. I feel like my experience with them was unpleasant and unprofessional.

Went tandem hang gliding from over 2000ft, actually I went over 4000 which was amazing, but that's another story. Pulled by an ultralight airplane, I got to release it, and steer the hang glider a little bit, over the New Hampshire mountains. Saw so many ski resorts, and such beautiful shades of blue, shadows, hills and clouds, so pretty! Kind of scary hanging from a kite, really want to learn how to do this myself, but then I have to start with running starts from the ground lol.

Xcelerated Adventures was awesome. Chase, the leader and tour guide was awesome, very cool guy, so chill and professional but easy to talk to and fun! And it was great to meet other cool people from around the NYC area that like adventures. :)

I highly recommend this business if you are looking for a great hiking day trip. I went to Breakneck and it was a blast. Loved seeing the awesome scenery and enjoyed the challenge of the hike. Chase is a great dude - friendly and encouraging. I look forward to plan my next trip with Xcelerated.

I had an awesome time this fall at the Breakneck Ridge tour. We did some serious hiking and also a bit of a rock scramble, which was awesome and totally unexpected. Our group was a lot of fun and Chase was an amazing guide, always concerned about our safety first. We also got some great panoramic views and excellent locations. Overall, I'd totally recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in heights, adventure, nature and stunning scenery. I can't wait for warmer weather to come around and see what other tours are being offered by Xcelerated Adventures!

Yesterday, we went on the Breakneck Ridge hike with Chase (our guide from Xcelerated Adventures). Chase knows the area really well. Because of him we saw some breathtaking scenery and trails we would otherwise not see. The trip was well-organized and Chase is clearly great at what he does. He made sure everyone had a good time and challenged themselves according to their skill-levels. I wish I could give this veteran more than 5 stars!

I did the Mohonk Preserve Day Hike a few weeks ago and it was wonderful! The scenery was gorgeous, the weather perfect, and Chase, the guide, was fantastic. He's a total pro--knowledgeable about the trail and very good about getting everyone pumped up and excited. I don't think the hike would be have as enjoyable without him. I'm excited to sign up for my next hike with Xcelerated Adventures come spring!
