      Massage = FIVE STARS!!!!!!
Minus 2 stars for being so darn expensive!

So united airlines sucks and delayed our flight for NINE hours because all the toilets on the plane needed repair.

What in the world do you do to kill NINE hours in the BORING Terminal 2? Why you get a pedicure and massage from xpresspa of course!!

The pedicure I got was ok. Nothing out of the ordinary. The massage that came with the pedicure was strong and great.

The seated neck and shoulder massage was also very strong and sooooooo relaxing!!!! I am a fan of the lady "Amy" who gave me the massage. I loved every minute of it.

If it wasn't so expensive I would've gotten a two hour massage!!

This was the greatest experience how cool is this to get a well needed manicure before a red eye flight home. So glad I came to the Airport early for my flight. Not only do you get another item off your to do list but it is relaxing as well.

Once I arrived I asked for an appointment this is a first for me as I have never been here before or ever got a manicure at an airport. Luckily they were available to take me and my colleague immediately. I guess it was meant to be. My colleague tried before at this airport and loved it. So I got a manicure found a color that would like ok great. The technician did a great job and after my manicure was over put me in a massage chair.

This was a welcomed service as my alternative would be sitting in a hard chair near my gate for my flight. Highly recommend and if I am ever here again will definitely plan around getting a manicure or any of the other services that they offer.

Charles was my 15 minute masseuse and he is amazing! Like, wow, it was unexpected to be honest! I didn't have very high expectations - I mean I'm in an airport terminal how good could a chair massage be?? If you get Charles the answer is clear...

Deep pressure, worked on my neck, shoulder and back and I can't lie, the short time I spent with him has me feeling better than my last fancy resort massage. I'm blown away!

What a treat and a nice way to end a long work week and prep for my flight home.

Disclaimer: My review is based upon a promotion XpresSpa had that gave a free 10-minute relaxation chair time for any Calm subscribers (a mindfulness app).

I saw this special and popped over for a spin in the relaxation chair. There were quite a few people in line for different services, but they had several masseuses to help the line move faster.

Yes, they charge in packages in small chunks of time, but obviously, there is a convenience premium to getting these services at the airport. And it makes sense because not everyone has an hour for a massage between flights.

No complaints on my free service! If you are a Calm user, you should come through!

This place used to be great. Friendly service and great massage and free use of their lounge chair if you get a massage. Now this place is no longer cost effective to use as a massage. The service is rude and unfriendly and the lounge chair is charged by the minutes. I walked in and the woman was rude and said the masseur I had before could no longer be located. Then she said the price is now $70 per 30 mins for the same neck and shoulder massage that used to be for 50 mins at the same price. When I looked around she told me to remain seated until the other masseur returns.

I advised strongly to never walk in this place ever!

I went to the XpresSpa located in terminal two.

I was super excited to find out that the airport had a spa that provided nail services and facials!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I read the reviews beforehand and called to make a reservation.

      It is walk ins only.

Contrary to a lot of the reviews, customer service was okay! They were friendly and direct but not overly accommodating like most spas are.

I have to give four stars because I wanted a facial so much and it's on their menu but they didn't have an employee to do it for today so it was really disappointing. I did call beforehand and ask if they could do a facial early in the morning and the other person on the phone said "yes". Perhaps I called the location in terminal 3 by accident?

The massage we got was good. It started off amazing then gradually became painful as the Masseus worked on knots on my back. I thought I was gonna pass out from the pain! But afterwards I felt like a wad of taffy :)

I wanted to cry $72.00 and $144.00 for two people plus tip! Really expensive for a thirty minute massage with no oils or steam or anything lol.

Very rude and stolid woman who works here solo. Her attitude was definitely bitter. Not really someone who I can relate to. I am pretty sure we all make choices where to work.

She acted like I was doing her a favor when I asked for a massage. With no one else in the establishment, I waited as she said to read the sign. I already knew what I wanted: 20 min neck and back.

After finishing up doing whatever it was she seemed interested in, she said to come in. I asked if there was someone else to do a massage for me. No she said....she's the only one.

      Not today. Not ever here.

      And we're walking.....

Rude rude rude Asian lady at the front desk.

If you don't want to work go home.

I get a massage from xpressspa religiously as I fly two to three times a month.

This is the one time I went to the airport early to get a massage and left without getting one. I always wait in the chairs while I wait for a massage chair to open up. She actually told me I cannot wait. She also told me the line is 4 long but if you look at the names and departure times of the people on the sheet ahead of me most had a flight that was already taking off and if she called them they wouldn't answer.

Just horrible experience. Next time look up and see if the person is a member of your club and treat them with a little more respect. You run a business. I am not taking advantage of you by waiting here for 30 mins for the next chair to open up.

Horrible front desk manager or employee.

I was having lunch in the food court of Terminal 3 at SFO and as I went to pick-up my bag, I caught my nail on the edge of the metal clip.

By pure coincidence, I noticed that there was an Xpress Spa at Terminal 3, so not wanting to have a damaged nail, I walked in to this location only to be greeted by a super nice and friendly lady named Denise.

She offered to fix the nail and suggested a full manicure to which I accepted.

I was super impressed with her work and how nice she was that I even recommended that if I become a pen model, I would give her props. Thank you Denise.

Xpress Spa is the airport chain of massage bars that offer manicure pedicures. The prices are inflated for captive airline passengers. This was my first trip to one, as I'm usually really cheap, but I had a four hour wait for a transfer flight and getting a pedicure in New York in December can result in frostbite.

True to airport service fashion, I quickly had two ladies offer to help and get my mani pedi underway in record time. They were hiding in a back room, so although the spa looked like it might have been understaffed, they're definitely people around. A manicure was $30 and and pedicure $45. This is double what I would pay at a neighborhood salon in NYC, but the prices were par with the Xpress Spa in JFK. Whatever, I'm going on vacation, I'm doing this thing.

The ladies made some quick small talk but for the most part let me relax into silence as they primed my nails. They were pretty efficient, going through the cutting, filing, buffing, conditioning, mini massage, and polishing in good time but not rushing. Note that they don't air dry or UV machine - they use the quick dry drops to make sure you're ready to go. The polishes here were not watered down, but the manicurist's technique wasn't the best - I have a few bubbles and the polish has some noticeable gaps between it and the cuticle line. It's pretty par with a neighborhood salon job, even though I'm paying a premium for being in the airport. The pedicure looks better, but it's hard for me to get a good look! They let me sit in the comfy massage chair as long as I wanted, and basically disappeared into the back room again. I had to flag down another worker to pay when I was ready.

All together, it's a serviceable job and very fast, albeit pricey just because of the location. The people getting massages seemed really happy!

Sat around waiting for 45 minutes for my appointment. When it came time to get my chair back massage, the woman told me she couldn't do it because I'm pregnant. First of all, that's absolutely ridiculous. Pregnant women are not disabled. Do any research necessary. Massage is actually good for pregnant women. To be turned away is absolutely ridiculous.
