Xu's Moving Company

SERIOUSLY, look no further - you have to go with Xu! I literally got off the truck moments ago to make sure it was empty and RAN to my computer to write a review because I am so impressed. I've used two other moving companies before, and while they were fine, it wasn't anything to rave about. But Xu is definitely my go to for any future moves (although hopefully won't have to happen again for awhile lol)

I had two movers assigned to move my 1 bedroom apartment about 0.7 miles away. It took only 2 HOURS total which I was thrilled by (of course as with all moving companies, the minimum is 3 hours, but still 100% worth it)

They're priced competitively, took direction well, carefully handled weird objects like my ginormous Bird of Paradise plant (about 7 feet tall), and even paid attention when I started shifting things around (my new apartment is smaller lol) and matching things up without any direction on my part.

Move aside, the scheduling process was also SO freaking easy. Ariel X helped set me up and was really fast to respond to messages. It literally took me like 5 minutes. I also really like that they have some integration with Yelp to show available time slots (I messaged a bunch of movers and Xu's was the only one with that feature). The communication between Ariel and the two people who helped me move was stellar as they were all on the same page.

So grateful for Xu's Moving Company for making what can be a super stressful experience great. Thank you!!

We've used Xu's twice now for our last two moves across San Francisco and San Mateo. They've been highly professional and insanely efficient both times. The first time we hired 2 movers for a 1b-to-2b apartment move. The second time was 3 movers for a 2b-to-4b SFH move. The movers always arrived on time and packed/moved our stuff with appropriate care and incredible efficiency.

While the movers themselves aren't very proficient in English, we were able to easily get by with short sentences and some google translate. Communication with the manager (Ariel) on the other hand has always been excellent.

I want to call out the fact that the movers caused minor damage to the drywall in our new home (doorknob pushed into wall) which we didn't notice until the movers had left. On reaching out to Ariel, their response was extremely prompt and polite and they were determined to fix the problem asap and to full resolution, until we were completely satisfied.
Given their highly competitive pricing, I was half expecting their support to be subpar if things went south. But I have to say I was pleasantly surprised to be wrong.

Using Xu's Moving Company was such an easy experience!! I'm so grateful to them for making this a stress-free move. They were very responsive on Yelp and were very clear with charges and what services they provide. Two movers were very prompt and just got right to work -- they were moving all my boyfriend's stuff out of his apartment and into our new place -- it only took about three hours. They were careful with our stuff, kind, and professional. They didn't speak great English which maybe would have mattered if they were less efficient, but didn't end up being a barrier for us only-English speakers.

This team is a class act. Fair pricing, punctual, conscientious, and kind. I can't recommend them enough. Literally red carpet treatment for your move. The piece was well wrapped, padded and protected. They even removed their shoes without asking before stepping on light carpet. These guys are great.

Xu's Moving Company did a great job with our intra-state relocation. The coordinator Ariel provided timely, relevant communications. The team showed up on time, were professional, and took care to protect our belongings during loading & unloading. We were impressed with how hard they worked and though they were not the cheapest quote we got, we felt the price was fair for the work that was done.

Needed to exchange refrigerators between two homes in the Bay Area.
Ariel was very responsive in replying to my questions. Moves went very well, movers took great care to wrap a new refrigerator to prevent damage in transit. Movers were fast, efficient and pricing was very reasonable. Would use this company again.

I received a quote in a very quick and timely manner, as well as the availability of the movers. I was able to get the movers booked very quickly, and the communication was very fantastic throughout the process.

I am so happy with their service - they PACKED for me, transported, and checked in frequently as they were unloading to make sure all the boxes and items went into my desired spot within my new place. The pricing was fantastic, as well. I have definitely paid more for a lesser service in the past, so I am incredibly impressed and thankful to the company and to these 2 wonderful guys who helped a lady move comfortably on a Very hot day!

Amazing quality and value for my move! They respond quickly and make the process simple. The movers were great and careful with all my furniture. I would definitely use them for moving again in the future.
