Last night I decided to get pizza pie for myself. It was the first time I would be eating one alone without my wife. So I went to North Beach Pizzca on Stanyon Street to place my order. I got a small one thin crust cheese only. Service was excellent and ordering with prices very easy to complete the order.

When it came out of the oven, it was shown to me and my reaction was that it looked beautiful. So I went home to devour it. The cheese was mozzarella and the sauce was delicious. It did not take very long to get the pizza because I waited for it and I would say I was able to leave the place in about twenty minutes.

It was the best pizza I have ever eaten.

We came here on a hot day in the middle of the week for lunch. We were pretty disappointed by the quality of the pizza and the cost of everything. A single slice of pizza was $5+ and a can of coke was $3 (FOR 1 CAN).

The pizza was greasy and served luke warm. They were out of crushed red pepper and the parmesean was oily/sweaty from sitting in a hot windowsill.

For about 4 slices and 3 drinks with tax, we were up to $35.... unbelievable. And the pizza was just bready and gummy with thick, hard cheese and really little flavor in the sauce.

Imagine a low quality school lunch pizza, served just shy of room temp. Except it costs $10 (after tax) for a slice and a coke. Which you can get at any corner store across the country (a much better quality one too in 99% of those instances) for $2.50.

      TL;DR: Don't come here.

Tiny corner location with low quality pizza. Undercooked, dougy gummy crust lacked any flavor, Tiny amount of sauce covered by layer of rubbery cheese makes it worse. Toppings sparsely & unevenly distributed on the top. $5.50 a slice for pizza like this is ridiculous. Seriously any frozen pizza would be better.

I ordered a large catering order with North Beach Pizza for my birthday this past weekend and was thrilled with the results! I called in advance to get all my questions answered and they were more than happy to help. I asked for it to be delivered in an area outside of their typical range and they accommodated my request which I was extremely grateful for!

I ordered their Grande Party package which came with 3 XL pizzas, salad, garlic bread, & a full tray of spaghetti marinara. I also included a small gluten-free pizza and a half tray of veggie lasagna. All items were absolutely delicious & received rave reviews from guests. The best part is that they included a dessert with my order for my birthday; they made me feel so special!

Overall, I'm really glad I went with this restaurant and will definitely be going back to try it on a more personal scale.

This is a great place to get pizza if you're throwing a kid's birthday party! They have a nice online ordering system for pickup and delivery. The staff was attentive to the details of my order and delivered everything perfectly right on time for the party. Bonus, if you want pizza on the earlier side, they're one of the few places I could find open before 11a.

Food is always of great quality and fresh. I recommend the calzones especially! I've always been pleasantly surprised by portion sizes for the price and also the speed of service.

North Beach Pizza is always consistent and it's good to have a place you know it will be around in
San Francisco. This pizza is good with beer.

I used to love this place. But, now I have to find a new place. I always ask for extra sauce but, they started to not put extra sauce on the last few times I ordered until I complained about it. The owner was nice enough to provide me a free pizza to make up for it. And they finally put extra sauce. BUT, I feel like they are trying to recup that comp pizza by charging me more on future pizzas. They have this coupon for two three topping 14" pizzas and 4 drinks for $46.99. Great deal right? Well, I always order a mushroom, sausage and pepperoni and a Garlic sauce with Bacon and chicken. I know the Garlic sauce is counted as a topping and the chicken is counted as 2 toppings, so go ahead and charge me the one extra topping. BUT, $12 more? Are they charging for the drinks too? I tried to give them another chance since they finally put more sauce, but not sure I will return if I am being charged that much extra on top of the coupon. Why have a coupon, if your not gonna honor it?

After a long trip to one of the world's pizza Meccas in NYC, I finally made it out to my neighborhood pizza spot. I came here hungry after a long run & ordered a slice of pepperoni post Arsicault. This slice didn't resemble its cousins in NYC, which isn't inherently bad. The crust was thick, doughy, & bready. It was also quite spongy & borderline underdone, and not much browning, which you could chalk up to being a stylistic choice, but it lacks the texture complexion & feel of a nice crisp slice. There wasn't much sauce and it wasn't super strong & lacked sweetness, so there wasn't a ton of flavor. The cheese and pepperoni are cheese and pepperoni, but nothing really stood out about them. They keep the pizza slices in a little warmer cage, but I feel like it could've used some extra time in an oven to get the cheese a little melty again, as it was decently congealed when I starting eating it. If you're looking for some bread with cheese on it for a few bucks, this place will be up your alley.

Do not recommend. I think they are only still in business due to lack of other choices. One pizza $51 - absolutely ridiculous. People are rude. The sign up has old prices - well they must be 10 yrs old as garlic bread in the sign said $5.50 but he charged $8.50 and said sign was old. Isn't there a law against that?
