There are few things in life more important for a man then purchasing an engagement ring. I say this with 100% authenticity when I say that Jim the owner of diamonds on web made my experience more than a pleasure.

Let's start with price - after scouring every jewelry store I. The east bay and the entire jewelry mart I found my best value with Jim. I purchased a large stone (just under 2 carats) and at that price point people tend to try and mark up the price significantly over market value, not Jim. He had the best price and the best quality along with the largest selection of diamonds in house, ones you could actually look at and compare, not "something he could get". Jim will have diamonds in hand for everyone's budget from under a carat to over 3 or 4 carats and in many different quality options to choose from but Jim will tell you his honest opinion on where you should land on the 3 C's based on your budget.

Customizing a setting - Jim did an AMAZING job bringing my creation to life. I sort of sudo designed a setting that was a bit challenging to make it had over a carat of diamonds in the setting (halo) and some incredible details. He nailed it and again he nailed the price!

Jim himself - he is a no nonsense guy who is honest and trustworthy. I genuinely enjoyed my experience and conversations with Jim throughout the process. Never C's was I pressured or told "well it might not be here tomorrow" Jim was patient and very genuine. He is just one of those great guys that you enjoy being around. His office staff and jeweler are also great folks and very accommodating.

To give you some perspective - when i was leaving the store after picking up the finished ring, while in the elevator I ran into a woman and her son that were shopping for rings also and they looked a little bummed. They asked me where I got mine and I told them. They asked if they could see it and I obliged, then they shook their head and said "how much"? I told them and they were amazed. Keep in mind they had spent all day in the jewelry mart going to all the big names which I had done also. I took them back up to the floor that Jim is on and introduced them. They also left happy customers after purchasing a diamond from Jim!

we were happy with the ring but had some communication issues. we purchased a ring that was supposed to be size 3.5 (despite our rep insisting on size 3.25), but it was tight over the knuckle, so we asked over email for it to be resized to 3.75 with sizing beads added.

when we brought it back in for resizing, we found out the ring was actually halfway between 3.25 and 3.5. on top of that, our rep ignored/forgot our request for resizing and almost submitted an order to only add sizing beads. once he realized the ring was too small for me, he tried to resize it to 3.5 and i had to ask a few times for 3.75.

it was a frustrating experience but at least the resizings are free, and they're really friendly and responsive over email.

I cannot describe how pleased I am for choosing Yadav as the jeweler I wanted my engagement ring from. My fiance and I began our ring shopping journey in May last year and got engaged in November with the most beautiful ring.
From a beginning, we were assisted by Mr. Yair and he was extremely educational, funny, and supportive.
The reason why I have so much pride in having a ring from Yadav is because of the amazing quality, I have had friends who had issues with stones falling from their setting after getting rings from chain jewelry stores and I am so happy that my ring is as flawless as it was when I got proposed to!

Yadav is our jeweler of choice and I'm so glad my husband decided to get my engagement ring and our wedding bands from them.
It's a family owned business- every time we go in we are greeted with smiles and kindness. We haven't had any bad customer service experiences at Yadav. When we were initially shopping for rings, some of the other jewelers in the city were arrogant and unresponsive to our questions via email- so we took it as them not wanting our money. We've had appointments and have even walked in without appointments and Maytal, Edan, and Destiny have always been helpful, friendly, and accommodating. I get my rings cleaned every now and then and just being able to stop in when I'm in the city has been the most convenient thing since it takes no more than 10 mins to clean my jewelry.

We had a wonderful experience with Yadav! Over the summer my now fiancé(!!!) and I decided it was time to start looking at rings. After doing some research online we made an appointment at Yadav. Suri helped us through the entire process. I am a very indecisive person and kept changing my mind about something--carats, stone, band, setting, metal, you name it. I changed it. Many times. But Suri was always extremely patient with us.

After 2 appointments we finally settled on the perfect ring. It took a bit longer than expected to get the final product because after the first quality check, they decided it was not up to standard and it needed a few more final touches. But Suri always made sure to keep us updated. She was even able to accommodate a last minute change from a prong setting to a basket setting, sending us the CAD design to ensure we were happy with how it would look.

We settled on a marquise lab diamond and couldn't be happier with how it turned out. I get compliments all the time on my ring and tell everyone to go to Yadav! We will be back soon to look at wedding bands :)

Just didn't have a great experience here. The person I met with was trying to get me to spend significantly more than I was comfortable with, wasn't great about listening to my concerns, and then did not follow up after stating they would. I took this is a sign that they would not be a good fit for me since I value strong communication. Positives: they were friendly during the appointment and consultations do not feel rushed.

If only I can give 1/2 star. My recent experience with YADAV was very unpleasant. Maytal of Yadav failed to deliver my order ( She was informed that it was a 21st birthday gift to my only daughter ). I had specifically ordered a diamond bracelet with specifications but ended up with a bracelet that will not fit my daughter's wrist which is 7-inch instead of 6-inch, wrong precious metal setting which is white gold instead of a platinum, even the size of diamonds. How can I accept such a mistake? Instead, I ended up requesting for a refund of my payment.

We often think that jewelers meticulously plan out each piece of jewelry that their client or customer wants and then, they even inspect the jewelry before they make it available to their customers. But how can a jeweler make their customers mirthful when the jeweler fails to follow the specifications that the customer wants.

LESSON LEARNED: Buy your gifts at least 2-3 months before the event to avoid headaches just in case there are design, fitting and structural issues with the jewelry or even a wrong jewelry . Always have a plan B and this will only work if you have enough time. Also, take time to research other reputable jewelers who can provide high quality products. Some jewelers have been around for a least 60 years if not 200 years such as Derco, Tiffany's and Graff Jewelers. This is a testament to the excellent services and high quality jewelries they provide to the public.

I was even planning to get my daughter's College graduation gift from YADAV. I guess, I may have to find another jeweler.

My fiancé cannot say enough amazing things about his experience at Yadav with the sales associate, Ivana. He inquired with Ivana/Yadav with minimal knowledge about diamonds and Ivana was there every step of the way to help answer any questions he had. She did such a great job explaining the different types of bands, setting heights, prong styles, and diamond cuts. Although we live in SF, he's never visited the actual store while creating the custom engagement ring for me. He wanted to make sure it was a surprise so he decided to do everything virtually. Ivana sent updates every step of the way and made sure that the ring was created to his liking.

Ivana is kind, knowledgable, patient, efficient, and such a delight to work with. She made the whole process so easy and enjoyable.

Now to the actual ring/diamond itself - it's absolutely gorgeous and I can't stop looking at it! It literally glistens and reflects/shimmers like a disco ball when light hits it at a certain angle. I am so so happy with it and we'll definitely be back to shop for weddings bands :) I can't wait to recommend Yadav/Ivana to all of my friends & family! Thank you again for the amazing experience!

Worked with Jim's daughter to custom design a diamond tennis bangle to complement my Cartier bracelet. It complements my bracelet so well. She did an excellent job working with my husband and understood the assignment. We made a trip to SF just so we could buy it from Yadav, and will continue to do so! We trust the quality of their work and the stones are always excellent.

Another lovely piece from Yadav. Cannot wait to upgrade my earrings and get them made here next.
