All the food we tried is good, it's neat and pretty inside. Our favorite would be the shrimp fried rice, house fish fillet, and salt and pepper spareribs.

I just hope there's a soup dumpling with no pork like maybe seafood or vegetable for friends who can't eat meat. He did like the seafood dumpling and har gow though.

You need resers, especially during the busiest hours.... The food is amazing! So tasty and the variety is incredible! Once we ordered our dishes came out pretty fast! We were a table of 8, and the service and friendliness of the staff was great today!

Ultra popular dumpling and Chinese food place in Roseville. It's been a long time coming, but this level of quality for Chinese food and dumplings is pretty rare up north here in Sacramento!

Very excellent, authentic food with a great selection and choices. Service is fast and excellent. Soup dumplings are fantastic. Baked BBQ pork buns are really awesome - they have the slightly-sweet crispy baked edge, which is such a nice touch!

Pan fried and chow fun noodles are SO good and very well made w/ excellent seasoned meats.

There are often waits, especially during busy lunch/dinner times on the weekends, so it may be worthwhile to put yourself on the waiting list before you arrive if possible!

Parking is plentiful in the lot adjacent.

Prices are a bit on the expensive side, which can be a little bit of a draw back.

Great for families and/or folks just getting together for a meal/snack! :)

The painting inside the restaurant, decor, and large window into kitchen give DTF vibes. We have pan fried dumplings, dry noodles and veggies. Their portions are a decent size and the potstickers were yummy. I didn't actually get any xlb, which in hindsight, I probably should have bought.

Try to reserve on yelp before you go. We went on a Sunday evening. I reserved online 30 mins before and was seated 30 mins later.

Will come back again. Seating space is decent but tight.

FANTASTIC! This place is a wonderful place to pop in for some dumplings! Located near the automall, this is a great addition to the restaurant scene in Roseville. We came in on a Wednesday evening and was seated immediately. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The food does not disappoint, so full of flavor. We got the Peking Spare Ribs which had a little kick to it and was breaded. It had tons of flavor but we were a little taken aback by the bones that were in the spare ribs. Just keep that in mind when you order them. We also got the cucumber salad which was flavorful and comes in a giant bowl. The Black Pepper Beer Dumplings are absolutely delicious and a must try and my absolute favorite was the Baked BBQ Pork Bao. It was the first bao bun that I've that had a crispy outer later but the bun was moist and packed full of yumminess!

The best part is the leftovers reheat very well so nothing goes wasted!

The restaurant did fill up quick so I would suggest making a reservation or joining the waitlist via Yelp and just check in when you get there. Joining the waitlist is the way to go because you can keep track of your place in line. It's pretty awesome.

PARKING: They share a parking lot with a few other eateries but you shouldn't have a problem finding a spot.

Absolutely cannot wait to come back and try more items! Love this place!

This is very good and authentic dim sum for a place like Roseville. This place gets crowded very fast so you either need a reservation or go early.

We had the siu mai, XLB soup dumplings, pork and chicken dumplings, and black bean sauce chow fun. I loved it that the black bean sauce chow fun had a lot of sauce on it so it wouldn't get dry. All were delicious!

Best dim sum in the area, hands down!
Best time to go is early or late afternoon, so it's not so busy, the service is the best, and they still have all their selections available.
Absolute best dim sum I have seen since Vancouver, B.C.
Never seen dim sum this good before in Sacramento or Bay Area.
Nicely appointed restaurant with pretty bird-themed murals. There are clear windows into the kitchen so you can see them making the dumplings from scratch.
Har Gow, Baked BBQ Pork Buns, and Portuguese Egg Tarts are epic!

We were seated next to a large swamp cooler which smelled slightly actinomycetic. We asked to be reseated but we were snubbed despite the restaurant being empty. The service was brisk and the server attentive. I was impressed with the pork fried rice and chicken chow mein which were large and tasty. Beyond that, the pork xiao long bao were a world away from Din Tai Fung; the skin was too thick and soup filling too sweet. The Kung Pao was off - not spicy at all and the chicken was mostly dark meat with little swatches of skin and odd unidentifiable bits making the mouthfeel uncertain and unsettling. The veggie dumplings were edible but looked like Shrek droppings. Overall, the flavor profiles were a bit lackluster

So sad I didn't get any pictures of the food but we ordered vegetable fried rice, HK style noodles with chicken, chicken dumplings, and garlic green beans. The prices were fair for an upscale dipping place and the good was delicious. We ordered it to go since the place was busy and had a waitlist. We were impressed that the food was still hot and tasted good when we arrived back home. The place looked really nice and clean inside. We will be back to try to dine in next time and to try more of their food.

First thing when we came in, man it was so hot inside :(
But we decided to stay since we've been wanting to try this place and was really craving dim sum so bad.

Our servers seated us next to a fan which made it a bit better. They were attentive and gave great service despite the heat so I give them major credit for that.

The food did not disappoint. Everything came out fresh and nicely prepared. The pork shumai was amazing and I must say the best beef chow fan i've had! The noodles were fresh and the beef so tender.

Ambiance of the restaurant is nice, the kitchen was open so you can almost see you're food being prepared. The only downside really was the heat inside, they didnt clarify if the AC was broken but that was only thing that affected our experience.
Hoping they can fix their ventilation soon, to make it a better experience for their guests.

Overall a great dimsum place in the area. We will definitely be back!
